\(\color{black}{\textbf{BACKGROUND}}\)

The University of Liberia, through its Center for Testing and Evaluation (CTE), routinely conducts entrance examinations and aptitude assessments as part of the admission process for its undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools. The results of these examinations are utilized to identify candidates who are qualified to undertake collegiate coursework without additional high school preparation. The examinations are offered in two formats: Paper-Based Test (PBT) and Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Exam Calendar of Events

  • \(\color{red}{\textbf{Exam Registration Period:}}\) The Center for Testing and Evaluation (CTE) at the University of Liberia initiated the registration process for the Undergraduate Entrance Examination, as well as the Graduate and Professional Schools Aptitude Tests, on Monday, May 26, 2025, and concluded on Monday, June 16, 2025.

  • \(\color{brown}{\textbf{Exam Administration Period:}}\)

  • CTE-UL administered the Aptitude Tests for the graduate and professional schools candidates from Tuesday, July 15, 2025, to Monday, August 18, 2025.

The UL 2025 Entrance and Placement Exam results for the undergraduate colleges fall into four categories:

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Successful}}\)

  • Candidates who achieved at least 60% in Mathematics and 70% in English are considered.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Unsuccessful}}\)

  • Candidates who scored below 60% in Mathematics or below 70% in English.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Absent}}\)

  • Candidates who registered for the University of Liberia entrance but couldn’t make it to the Entrance Examination are warmly acknowledged.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Wrongly Shaded}}\)

  • Candidates who incorrectly shaded their exam numbers during the exam.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Straz Sinje}}\)

The UL 2025 Entrance and Placement Exam results for the Straz Sinje Technical and Vocational College fall into seven (7) categories:

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Successful}}\)

  • Candidates who achieved at least 60% in Mathematics and 70% in English are considered.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{ Remedial In Mathematics}}\)

  • Candidates who achieved at least 30% in Mathematics and atleast 70% in English but has a Mathematics score of less than 60% are considered.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{ Remedial In English}}\)

  • Candidates who achieved at least 40% in English and atleast 60% in Mathematics but has an English score of less than 70% are considered.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{ Remedial In Both Mathematics and English}}\)

  • Candidates who achieved at least 40% in English but has an English score of less than 70% and achieved at least 30% in Mathematics but has a Mathematics score of less than 60% are considered.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Unsuccessful}}\)

  • Candidates who failed to meet any of the above four categories are considered unsuccessful.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Absent}}\)

  • Candidates who registered for the University of Liberia entrance but couldn’t make it to the Entrance Examination are warmly acknowledged.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Wrongly Shaded}}\)

  • Candidates who incorrectly shaded their exam numbers during the exam.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{GRAD}}\)

The results of the UL 2025 Second Aptitude Test for Graduate School could be categorized into three (3) groups:

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Successful}}\)

  • Candidates scoring a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and English.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Unsuccessful}}\)

  • Candidates who did not achieve a minimum score of 50% in Mathematics and 50% in English.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Absent}}\)

  • Candidates who registered for the University of Liberia entrance but couldn’t make it to the Entrance Examination are warmly acknowledged.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{School of Medicine}}\)

  • The School of Medicine will determine the scale. The UL 2025 Aptitude Test results for the Medical School fall into three(3) categories:

\(\textbf{Successful}\)

  • Candidates who achieved at least 70% in Science and 70% in English are considered.

\(\textbf{Unsuccessful}\)

  • Candidates who scored below 70% in Science or below 70% in English.

\(\textbf{Absent}\)

  • Candidates who registered for the test but couldn’t make it to the Aptitude Test are warmly acknowledged.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{School of Pharmacy}}\)

The UL 2025 Aptitude Test results for the Medical School fall into three(3) categories:

\(\textbf{Successful}\)

  • Candidates who achieved the average score of at at least 60% in Science and English are considered.

\(\textbf{Unsuccessful}\)

  • Candidates who achieved the average score of less than 60% in Science and English are considered.

\(\textbf{Absent}\)

  • Candidates who registered for the test but couldn’t make it to the Aptitude Test are warmly acknowledged.
