Esperance Busime
Hello! I’m a supply chain professional and student with a passion for
logistics, distribution, and business analytics. I was born in the
Democratic Republic of Congo and currently live in the United States.
Over the years, I have built experience in both military and civilian
logistics operations, and I am now pursuing advanced studies to expand
my expertise.
Academic Background
- Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain
Management
- Future goal: pursue an MBA with a focus on global
supply chains and logistics
Professional Background
Currently, I am working as a Logistics Specialist
Contractor at BASF Chemical Company. My
responsibilities involve:
- Coordinating material and product flow
- Managing logistics documentation and compliance
- Supporting warehouse and distribution operations
Previously, I served in the U.S. Army for 3 years as
a Logistics Specialist, where I gained valuable
experience in:
- Supply chain operations in demanding environments
- Aerial delivery design and implementation for military
equipment
- Managing inventory, transportation, and distribution under
pressure
Recently, I have also been interviewing for a Logistics
Coordinator position at BASF to expand my career within the
company.
Experience with R
I am a beginner in R. This course is my first formal
opportunity to use R, and I look forward to applying it to tasks such
as:
- Data wrangling
- Data visualization
- Statistical analysis for supply chain performance
Experience with Other Analytic Software
- Strong experience with Excel for supply chain and
logistics analysis
- Exposure to Tableau for visualization
- No prior experience with Python or
SQL, but excited to learn both as I advance in business
analytics
