Introduction to Me!

Hi! My name is Deepika Srivastava I’m a technology professional with a strong foundation in software engineering and a growing passion for data analytics and information systems. Over the past several years I’ve worked extensively on enterprise applications, building scalable backend systems and delivering technology solutions in dynamic environments.

I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Information Systems with a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics at the University of Cincinnati, which has allowed me to build on my technical background and explore advanced topics in data, analytics, and business intelligence. I’m excited about leveraging my prior experience in software development while transitioning into a career focused on data engineering, analytics, and decision-making support.

I am new to R programming, but here’s what I’ve started doing:

• Importing data using readr

• Cleaning and transforming with dplyr functions like filter(), mutate(), summarise()

• Creating quick plots using ggplot2

• Writing reproducible reports with R Markdown
