Introduction

Hi, I’m Vinaya Naik,I’m in the MS Business Analytics program, and before this, I worked in digital analytics for about five years where I visualized data to drive business decisions and I also worked on Conversion Rate Optimization(A/B and other tests on the website) to increase revenue, I am a problem solver so I helped the marketing Team build a model that could predict the ROI on the investment tehy were planning. I love cats, lemon tea, and discovering new ways to make data tell stories.I also enjoy exploring new places, trying different cuisines, learning new languages and meeting people from diverse backgrounds.

I completed my B. Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Cummins College of Engineering in Pune,India and currently pursuing my MS in Business Analytics from University Of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Professional background

Data Analytics Consulatant

As an Analytics Consultant, I was responsible for handling various stakeholders, from development guys to Marketing. I generated insights for the business leaders and also gave recommendations for A/B tests collaborating with UX team. I implemented data collection points on the website and then helped in visualizing the collected data and providing recommendations. I also helped in creating ML models to solve business problems of predicting ROI and other KPIs that were relevant to the team.

Experience with R

While I have theoretical understanding of R, I have no handson with it.

Experience on analytical tools

I have extensively worked with analytical tools like Excel, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Google Analytics and used Jupyter notebook for Python
