About Me!

Hello There! My name is Gabe Sundberg and I am from the Cincinnati area. I am 23 years old and will start work at Fifth Third bank soon as a Commercial Analyst. I live at home right now with my three siblings and two dogs. I enjoy baseball and football, particularly the data! I also spend my time learning the Piano and have a 1050 day streak learning German on Duolingo.

Academic Background

Before my undergrad, I was actually homeschooled from 2nd to 10th grade and did my senior year at UC Blue Ash as apart of their CCP program that was cut off by the start of COVID.

I spend my Undergrad at Miami University OH where I was apart of the Business Honors Program. I majored in both Information Systems and Marketing. I was apaprt of the Isaac and Oxly Center for Business leadership and was the president of the honor society Beta Alpha Psi

Professional Experience

I recently accepted a role as a Commercial Analyst at Fifth Third Bank. Before that I worked briefly as a Solutions Analyst doing some data analytics for Fastenal. Before that I worked as a Marketing Intern at Qualcomm, A IT Audit Intern at Fifth Third Bank and a Data Analysis Contractor for a Miami Professor’s small consulting firm.

R and Analytics Experience

I have light experience with the following softwares.

• R: no professional experience. I used it a bit on one project briefly but nothing else.
• Python: Plenty of class experience for projects but not in the real world.
• SQL: Plenty of class experience for many kinds of projects but not in the real world.
• PowerQuery: I have some moderate experience at Fastenal combining files and creating reports.
• PowerBI: I have made a few dashboards both in School and at Fastenal.
