Hello! I’m Sean, a graduate student working towards my degree of Master of Science in Business Analytics at Xavier University. In my free time I enjoy reading history and mystery books, hiking, camping, and fishing. Some fun facts about me are that I am a certified Open Water Scuba Diver as well as a volunteer service dog trainer for a program called 4 Paws for Ability. My current dog’s name is Marseille!
I am currently focused on being a student at Xavier University, Williams College of Business, working towards my MSBA degree. However, I am still actively working part time as a Loss Prevention Detective, where I aim to prevent shrink within my corporation, both internally and externally. Through this position, I have had the opportunity to partner with the National Task Force, to take down Organized Retail Crime operations in the greater Cincinnati area. I also get the chance to attend court hearings on the individuals I apprehend, where my testimony impacts their sentencing. While working towards my undergraduate degree, I was also able to be a Legal Intern with Ganote Law LLC, who is a attorney of law. During this internship, I reviewed both body and dash camera video from local police departments and wrote highly organized and detailed summaries of each client’s police encounter, to ensure the officers where following correct policing practices. These summaries aided the attorney’s testimony to the client and the general court system.
I do not have much experience in R, only what I have learned so far in my Data Wrangling course at Xavier University. I do however, hope to become proficient in using R by the end of my MSBA program.
