Intoduction to Me: Drew Cobble

Hello! I’m Drew Cobble. I’m an aspiring data analyst working towards my master’s in business analytics. I currently work as a switcher at FedEx, where I move trailers all day. I love to watch and play in a wide variety of sports, such as football, baseball, basketball, golf, volleyball, and my personal favorite, disc golf. I have played in over 100 disc golf tournaments, including two College National Championships.

  • Tutor, Math and Stats Lab

    • Tutored a wide variety of math and stats classes, from college algebra to differential equations
  • Co-Author, Color Me Math

    • Worked to create a mathematical coloring book, showing and explaining mathematical concepts such as Voronoi Diagrams, fractals, golden spirals, and Koch curves

Experience with R

I started using R in many of my statistics classes during undergrad, as well as some studies. Some of the skills I have learned are

  • Statistical Testing
  • Creating Reports
  • Categorical Data Analysis
  • Regression Analysis
  • Simulation and Resampling

I also have experience using SAS for statistical programming and database management purposes, as well as SQL.
