“The lens we carry writes the truth we think we’re reading.”
I’m Benisha Sree, a grad student at the University of Cincinnati, someone who holds close the belief that “challenges are what make life interesting, and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful,” and it guides both my personal and professional journey. With love for data and design, I thrive in fast-paced, people-first, multicultural environments, and I try to bring empathy, clarity, and curiosity to every role. Fluent in over three languages, I adapt easily, and find calm in complexity. I’ve worked across research, strategy, and collaboration areas, to name a few, always showing up with quiet consistency. I take ownership of what’s mine, pitch in where necessary, and never disregard that the best work is built on operational efficiency, accountability, and the ability to make things easier for the people around you.
I bring a diverse background spanning business analytics, strategy, and operations, complemented by strong leadership and communication experience. My work includes internships in business strategy, marketing, and legal-tech AI, along with hands-on exposure to data analysis, visualization, and workflow optimization using tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python. I have also held leadership roles in national-level student organizations, driving stakeholder engagement, event execution, and brand positioning. Currently, I serve as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, supporting business analytics courses and mentoring students.
I have beginner-level experience in R, with hands-on exposure to data analysis, visualization, and statistical operations. I am comfortable working with R scripts and R Markdown to explore datasets and generate insights. My foundation in R allows me to apply analytical techniques effectively, and I am continuously building on this skill to handle more advanced data science tasks.
I have hands-on experience with a range of analytic tools including Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Tableau (beginner). I have also applied Python (basic) and R (beginner) for data analysis, visualization, and predictive modeling tasks. My exposure to these tools enables me to approach problem-solving with flexibility, adapt to different analytical environments, and derive actionable insights effectively.
