Who am I?

I am a first year MSBA Student at Xavier University and Associate Editor at Cincy Magazine and its sister publications.

Academic Background

I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in December 2022 with my Bachelors in Journalism. While I was there, I was the features editor at the student newspaper, The News Record, where I got to interview and write about different people and organizations across campus.

Professional Background

After graduating from UC in 2022, I began my career in policy consulting, working for Cohear Community Services here in Cincinnati. There, I worked to make sure that decision makers were aware of the perspectives of those effected by their policy workers. This is actually where I became interested in getting my Masters in Business Analytics. Working with qualitative data to create reports and help people understand critical data, I became interested in trying to do that with quantitative data.

From there, I began working as a freelance journalist, writing about people and goings on around the city. It is how I got my current job as associate editor.

Experience With R

I have none! Although, I am very excited to learn something new as I enter this new career.

Experience with Other Analytical Software

I have worked with SQL before, though that is a very rudimentary understanding.
