Self Synopsis

I am Alex Caswell, I currently work in the brewing industry. I am looking to learn R to assist with technical troubleshooting and pattern identification in my work duties.

  • General Certificate in Brewing (Chartered Institue of Brewing and Distilling, London, UK)
  • General Certificate in Malting (Chartered Institue of Brewing and Distilling, London, UK)

Professional Background

I work at MolsonCoors Beverage Company as a Staff Brewer. I support our operations teams by helping troubleshoot machine and material issues they may be dealing with, as well as developing standards and new methods of beer processing that are more efficient or cost effective. I began in quality control in 2015 and have worked in several roles in quality and brewing. Data analysis has been critical in every role so far!

Experience With R and Other Analytical Software

This is my first time using R, I am a beginner. I have experience with Java and Visual Basic for Applications so I have some experience with coding.
