In the images above I’ve just been selecing the ‘All GPS’ filter for the maps, but Augustine mentioned how interesting it will be to look at grazing GPS specifically. Those of us super familiar with the pastures are seeing distinct trends in their GPS location likely being driven by forage.

Potentially, they’re no longer being extra picky eaters, but instead they’re filling their guts.

For this next visual, I took a screenshot of the ‘Eating’ output from 701x dashboard from Aug 1st-Aug 7th and the latest Crude Protein data from CPERViewer (Aug 5th).

If you look at the the higher density of 701x GPS points (yellow to red), image on the left, the GPS points seem to lay-over the same location as the higher Crude Protein values (lighter blue) the image on the right.

Fun foot-note, those familiar with 15NW in HighHawk, they spent so much time “inside” that old fence that their data almost look like the fence was still there!

Gains

We’ll be taking the next set of weights on August 21st.
