Clinical Utility of FDG PET/MRI in detection of pain generators in Patients with Chronic Pain
Statistical analysis
SUVmax values were summarized by level and region in lumbar, cervical, and thoracic spine. The summary statistics included mean (SD) and/or median (IQR). Between-level differences for each subject are tested by the Kruskal-Wallis test. Boxplots were created to visualize the distribution of SUVmax across different levels and regions. P values < 0.05 were considered statistically significant. All analyses were performed using R version 4.2.2 (R Core Team, 2022).
Preliminary analysis
Lumbar
Table 1 summarizes subject-level SUVmax values by Level in lumbar, showing both mean (SD) and median (IQR). The boxplot in Figure 1 visualizes the distribution of SUVmax across different levels for each subject.
Cervical
Table 2 summarizes subject-level SUVmax values by Level in cervical, showing both mean (SD) and median (IQR). The boxplot in Figure 2 visualizes the distribution of SUVmax across different levels for each subject.
