BESA Strength Testing Report

This report shows you hour best scores on each of the tests and where these sit against Premier League Normative data. This compares you against professional players who train every day so reaching these standards is exceptional.

Counter-movement jump

This is one of the most common tests of lower body force production and power, Premier League Players tend to jump high with scores typically ranging from 35 to 43 cm (grey shaded area on the graph below).

Nordic Hamstring Strength

Nordic Hamstring Strength is positively related with reducing hamstring injury risk, the Nordic Hamstring exercise along with regular exposure to sprinting is a good way to reduce this risk of injury. Premier League players typically score between 380 and 488 N on this test (grey shaded area on the graph below).

Groin (hip adduction strength)

Groin Strength is positively related with reducing groin strains, a common injury in men’s football, the Copenhagen Adduction Exercise has been shown to improve this test and reduce groin injury risk. Premier League players typically score between 369 and 507 N on this test (grey shaded area on the graph below).

GPS data from football training session

Below is the total distance in meters that you ran in the session & your maximum velocity - the fastest speed you ran throughout the session. Note this is not a marker of how well you did in the session just how far and how fast you ran and this data is used to track players over time and help inform training and recovery programmes for players.
