This SOP outlines the inbound shipping process for goods delivered from overseas into the United States using two primary logistics partners: EW and AWOT. It covers cargo pickup, transportation, customs clearance, and final delivery to the WP warehouse.

Step 1 – Pickup & Export

arranges pickup in China, Malaysia, or Indonesia and delivers goods to
port for ocean freight.
Step 2 – Customs Clearance
- David (davidz@2eastwest.com)
handles US customs clearance by filing necessary documents (Form 3461,
7501) upon vessel arrival.
Step 3 – Final Delivery
- Ling (lingj@2eastwest.com)
schedules truck appointment for final delivery from port to WP
warehouse.
Step 4 – Internal Ops
- Internal team confirms inbound status in the system and validates all
shipment documents.
Note: In rare cases, shipments may be routed to a bonded warehouse (FTZ). See FTZ Inbound & Outbound SOP for details.

Step 1 – ISF Filing
- Maria Frausto (maria_frausto@awotglobal.com)
submits ISF Form at least 72 hours prior to ETD.
- ISF acceptance screenshot should be obtained 24–48 hours before
ETD.
Step 2 – Shipment Pre-Alert
- AWOT sends pre-alert notice within 3 days post-departure.
Step 3 – Ocean Customs Clearance
- Amanda Chow (Expeditors) (Amanda.Chow@expeditors.com)
handles customs clearance.
- Backup: Nick Xiao (Nick.Xiao@expeditors.com).
- Arrival Notice should be issued 5–7 days before arrival.
- 7501 Declaration must be submitted within 3 days after A/N.
Step 4 – Final Delivery
- Infinit Express (indo@infinit-express.com)
manages final delivery based on Delivery Order and Container
Notification.

Step 1 – Shipment Pre-Alert

the shipment pre-alert is submitted by departure date.
Step 2 – Arrival Notice
- Arrival Notice is sent at least 1 day prior to flight arrival.
Step 3 – Customs Clearance
- Jeff files 7501 Declaration within 1 day post-A/N.
- Handles release notification via ABI message.
Step 4 – Final Delivery
- Jeff Yu (jeff_yu@awotglobal.com) from
AWOT manages both pickup and final delivery for air shipments.
- AWOT is responsible for arranging the final mile trucking and ensuring
delivery to the WP warehouse.
