Every time we check our phone we hear news of assault, theft, burglary, and unfortunately murder. Crime stories have become part of our daily routine so much that they feel like a common thing here in Victoria. Today, through this interactive storyboard, we attempt to provide meaningful insight regarding crime offenses in Victoria focusing on the year 2024. For this purpose, we have used the data from crime statistics in Victoria.

This storyboard will show:

Trend in offence in Victoria from 2015 to 2024

Most common Drug offences by substance in Victoria 2024

Which division has the highest number of offence?

Which sub-division has the highest number of offences within property and deception offences?

Tree Map Showing where most thefts are taking place in 2024

Investigation status of Property and Deception offenses in 2024
