Every time we check our phone we hear news of assault, theft, burglary, and unfortunately murder. Crime stories have become part of our daily routine so much that they feel like a common thing here in Victoria. Today, through this interactive storyboard, we attempt to provide meaningful insight regarding crime offenses in Victoria focusing on the year 2024. For this purpose, we have used the data from crime statistics in Victoria.

How have total offences and drug related offences risen or fallen in Victoria from 2015 to 2025.
Which broad categories account for most incident in 2024?
Which specific offence occur often and where these offences happen most?
What’s the investigation status of division that has highest number of offences?
