Pollination Project
Visualization Summary
This dashboard explores pollinator behavior depending on crops and other variables. Variables include:
- Honeybee: This represents the of honeybee visits per sample
- Other Diptera: Hover flies, Fruit Flies, and even Crane Flies
- Bombus: Several species summarized into one variable
- Wind Speed: This variable is a measurement of the average wind speed during sampling
- Crops: Beans (Faba), Oil Seed Rape, and Apples
- Date: The study took place over a 4-5 month period
Data & Study Summary
This data set includes pollinator observations from 3 crops across multiple sampling locations and dates. It captures flower density, temperature, wind, and a breakdown of insect types observed. The following visualizations will analyze pollinator species, crop type, and wind speeds.
Vis. 1: Honeybee Visits per Crop
Vis. 2: Other Diptera Over Time
Vis. 3: Wind Speed vs Pollinator Visits
Vis. 4: Temperature vs Pollinator Visits
