# Reflection
FOr my assignment, I decided to analyze a plot from Kaggle (https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/shahzadahmad0402/depression-and-anxiety-data) that analyzes Depression and Anxiety data spanning various ages from 18-31 of both Sexes. I wanted to see if there is a correlation between the age of a person, and their anxiety level at the time of their age. The X Axis plots age, and the Y Axis plots Anxiety Severity, and uses a scatterplot to showcase a correlation between the two variables. To show the sex of each of the participants, each point is color coded with pink and blue, and when hovering over the point, the tooltip showcases the Age, Anxiety Diagnosis, Depression Diagnosis, and Sex of the participant. This allows us to gather more information about the participant in order to provide more information for correlations.
Looking at the plot, I do believe there is a correlation between Anxiety Severity and Age, as it tends to lean that people on the lower end of the age range tend to have more severe anxiety levels than those at the higher end, and this makes sense. 18-22 tend to be the time where teens transition into adulthood, and are more likely to be more stressed due to adjustment, and e can also see that it is not dependent on Sex, as they seem to be dispersed around the same level as well, since men and women both experience that transition at similar times.
