To apply advanced Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) techniques using
the ggstatsplot
package for statistical testing and
plotly
for creating interactive visualizations, using the
Breast Cancer Wisconsin dataset. The goal is to present insights in a
clear, interactive, and reproducible way.

Question 1: Is there a significant difference in mean radius_mean between benign and malignant tumors?
Question 2: Does texture_mean vary significantly across diagnosis types?
Question 1: radius_mean vs diagnosis
p1 <- ggplot(bc_data, aes(x = diagnosis, y = radius_mean, fill = diagnosis)) +
geom_boxplot() +
labs(title = "Comparison of Radius Mean by Diagnosis",
x = "Diagnosis (Benign vs Malignant)",
y = "Radius Mean") +
theme_minimal()
p1
Question 2: texture_mean vs diagnosis
p2 <- ggplot(bc_data, aes(x = diagnosis, y = texture_mean, fill = diagnosis)) +
geom_violin(trim = FALSE) +
geom_boxplot(width = 0.1, fill = "white") +
labs(title = "Distribution of Texture Mean by Diagnosis",
x = "Diagnosis",
y = "Texture Mean") +
theme_minimal()
p2
From the first plot, we observe that malignant tumors tend to have a higher radius mean than benign tumors.
In the second plot, we see a clear difference in the distribution of texture_mean between the two diagnosis groups. This suggests a possible statistical significance.
