Similarly as with the Financial Aid Distributions tool, the data for these figures are derived from the National Postsecondary Student Aid Study, 2019-20 Administrative Collection, reflecting undergraduates who applied for federal aid and are enrolled full-time.
Each figure is split by sector: Total, Public 4-Year, Public 2-Year, and Other. ‘Total’ reflects all institutions and ‘Other’ reflects all institutions that are not Public 4- or 2-Year.
