My Pyramid Travel Bucket List

Based on the data and visualizations above, here’s my prioritized travel bucket list for visiting these amazing pyramids:

  1. Great Pyramid of Giza - The most iconic pyramid in the world and the only surviving structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

  2. El Castillo (Kukulcán) - Famous for its equinox shadow phenomenon where a serpent appears to crawl down the pyramid.

  3. Borobudur - A unique Buddhist pyramid-temple with beautiful stone carvings depicting Buddha’s life.

  4. Pyramid of the Sun - The third largest pyramid in the world and the largest in Teotihuacan.

  5. Nubian Pyramids - Less visited than their Egyptian counterparts, offering a more adventurous experience.

  6. Pyramid of Khafre - Often mistaken for the Great Pyramid due to its position on higher ground.

  7. Pyramid of Cestius - A unique opportunity to see a pyramid in the heart of Europe.

Conclusion

Pyramids represent humanity’s enduring quest to reach the heavens and create monuments that outlast civilizations. This interactive exploration highlights just a few of the most famous examples, but there are many more pyramid structures around the world waiting to be discovered and appreciated.
