La regresión logística es un modelo que se utiliza para predeir la probabilidad de que ocurra un evento, basado en una o más variables independientes. A diferencia de la regresión lineal, que predice valores continuos (como el precio de una casa), la regresión logístic predice resultados binarios o categoricos, como un sí/no, 1/0, verdadero/falso.
Si la probabilidad es mayor que 0.5, el modelo predice que el evento ocurrirá (Ej.el cliente se dará de baja). Si la probabilidad es menor que 0.5, predice que el evento no ocurrirá.
