Does being a STEM student directly correlate to income potential for students coming out of college?
ggplot(salary_potential, aes(x = stem_percent, y = early_career_pay)) +
geom_point(color= "steelblue") +
geom_smooth(method = "lm")
Based on this chart, being a STEM student doies have a heavy correlation to early career income, however there are still a few outliers showing that you can still make alot of money out of college despite not being a stem major, as well as some STEM majors dont make quite as much money as other students who are not STEM majors.
