The University of Liberia (UL) through its Center for Testing and Evaluation (CTE) customarily administers entrances, placement exams and aptitude tests as part of the vetting process for admission. This year 2024 Aptitude Tests will be administered to ONLY the Graduate School candidates.

Aptitude Test

  • For admittance into the UL Graduate and Professional Schools, the CTE-UL administers aptitude tests to select candidates capable of doing graduate and professional schools course work at the UL.

Exam Registration Period

  • \(\color{red}{\textbf{Exam Registration Period:}}\) The Registration Period runs from Monday, October 21, 2024 to Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Exam Administration

  • \(\color{red}{\textbf{Exam Administration Period:}}\) The CTE administered the First Aptitude Test to the Graduate Programs from Monday, December 9, 2024 to Saturday, December 14, 2024.

Executive Summary

  • \(\color{red}{\textbf{Executive Summary:}}\)
    A total of two hundred one (201) candidates registered for the Graduated School Aptitude Test. Of this number, only one hundred ninety-five (195 or 97.01% ) candidates wrote the Exam, while six (6 or 2.99%) candidates were absent. Of the total one hundred ninety-five (195) candidates who wrote the Aptitude Test, one hundred eighty (180 or 92.31%) candidates passed Successfully while fifteen (15 or 7.69% ) candidates were unsuccessful.

Of the total one hundred eighty (180) successful candidates, one hundred seven (107 0r 59.44%) of them are males while seventy-three (73 or 40.56% ) candidates are females.

The UL 2024 Aptitude Test results for Graduate School fall into three (3) categories:

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Successful}}\)

  • Those candidates who scored at least 50% in Mathematics and at least 50% in English.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Unsuccessful}}\)

  • Those candidates who failed to score at least 50% in Mathematics and at least 50% in English.

\(\color{black}{\textbf{Absent}}\)

  • Candidates who registered for the University of Liberia Graduate School Aptitude Test but did not turn out for the Test.
