First, we will add an image to our page using the Markdown syntax alt text.

Since we are working in RStudio Cloud, specifying the full image path is not required. Instead, we can upload the image to RStudio Cloud and simply use the image’s filename within the parentheses.

alt text: Describes the image for accessibility and fallback purposes. image-path-or-URL: Specifies where to find the image.

Use Case for Alt Text:

About me (elaborate a little bit)

Hi, I’m a business student majoring in marketing at CSUB. My current objectives is to graduate at the end of this year (2025). My career goal is to be a marketing coordinator for the entertainment industry such as music companies, clothing brands, movie production companies, etc.

Academic Background (elaborate a little bit)

I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree at CSUB. I started community college in 2021 then transferred 2 years later to CSUN. I commuted from Bakersfield to Northridge for a year. Now I am a senior and transferred to CSUB in fall of 2024.

Professional Background (elaborate a little bit)

I don’t have much of a professional background as all jobs I have had are retail. However, I did have a job for a retail store where it gave me experience on how to do social media marketing. I would post on their social media accounts promoting the stores products and allowed me to edit videos I would film to post. I did that for 1 year.

Experience with Excel (elaborate a little bit)

I have half a year prior experience with excel. I am not excellent with it, but I do know the basics as I just started using Excel when I transferred to CSUB.

Experience with R & Tableau (elaborate a little bit)

I have 0 prior experience with R & Tableau but I am interested in learning more this semester!

Experience with other analytic software (elaborate a little bit)

I have 0 prior experience with any other analytic software.

I want to become efficient and motivated until the end of the semester.

I would like to pursue a career in marketing as a marketing coordinator based in LA for the entertainment industry.
