Hello! My name is William ‘Avery’ Parker, and I am passionate about business analytics and data-driven decision-making. I grew up in Westerville, Ohio (Close to Columbus), and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics at the University of Cincinnati. My career aspirations include working in sports analytics or applying data science in soccer-related industries.

Professional Background

I most recently worked as a Business Intelligence Intern at Easy Way Products Co., where I had been tasked with: - Developing SQL queries to extract and analyze production data. - Create Power BI dashboards for data analysis and decision-making. - Automate reporting processes.

In addition, I have experience as a Shift Manager at Panera Bread, where I honed my leadership and operational management skills.


Experience with R

I have been using R for little over a year and have gained hands-on experience through my classwork in BANA 4137 and internships. Some of the tasks I have completed using R include:

While I am still growing my ability to use R, I enjoy the versatility and open-source(Kinda like mods in a video game) nature of R, which makes it an excellent tool for data analysis. Prior to R, I worked with tools such as Excel, Tableau, and SQL to perform analytics.
