Introduction of Me!
I am Emily and have lived in Cincinnati my whole life and went to Mason for high school. In my free time I enjoy cooking, baking, and doing hot pilates. I have a passion for traveling as well and enjoy visiting national parks.
Academic Background
I am majoring in Accounting and picked up a Business Analytics Certificate last year. I enjoy my BANA classes a lot and have been apply that knowledge back into work I do for accounting.
Professional Background
I have completed 3 internships during my time at UC. I completed one tax internship and two audit internships. After graduation this semester, I will be working for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and will be an assurance associate for them. In audit, I test the companies controls and validate their financial statements to ensure all numbers are accurate.
Experience with R
I have very little experience with R but it has not been too hard to learn so far.
Experience with other Analytic Software
I have coded with Python a few times in another one of my classes but that is the only other software I have used.
