A synopsis of who you are
I live in Wasilla, Alaska and am married to my best friend Ben (we
just celebrated 5 years). We have one dog (Latte) and one cat
(Butterscotch), who love to wrestle with each other even though one is
100 pounds and one is 13. I love being outdoors, exploring Alaska,
reading, singing, and traveling. Most of my family lives nearby, so I
also enjoy spending time with them.
Academic Background
I grew up in Gardner, Kansas, and received my BA in Politics and Law
at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma in 2019. After
spending most of my career in the nonprofit sector, I decided it was
time to get my MS in Marketing. I am set to graduate in May with my MS
and a Market Research Certificate.
Professional Background
Professionally, I have had experience in the nonprofit sector
working in case management and program specialist fields. I have also
done freelance writing extensively for the last decade, which is
eventually what spurred me to want to take part in the storytelling
piece of marketing.
Experience with R
My only experience with R thus far is though the modules in this
course. I am looking forward to learning more throughout the rest of the
course!
Experience with other analytic software
I have experience working in YoutTube and Google Analytics, as well
as taking a couple of analytics and performance courses through UC. As
for programs such as R, I am quite limited and looking forward to diving
deeper.
