Introduction to Me!

Hello! My name is Meesha Tanna, and I am a first year Business Analytics and Information Systems major! I was born and raised in Strongsville, a suburb right outside Cleveland, OH.

Academic Background

∙ High School Diploma from Strongsville High School

∙ Pursuing B.S. in Business Analytics and B.B.A in Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati

Professional Background

∙ I was an intern at Comprehensive Minds, a psychiatrist office in Broadview Heights, OH during July 2023. I observed new patient interviews to further understand how data is collected to aid patients. By the end of my internship, I was given the opportunity to conduct patient interviews on my own to gather data relevant to patients while aiding to immediate patient needs.

∙ I was part of the inaugural class of the University Hospitals Future Nurse Academy in June 2023. During my time in this program, I performed hands-on activities such as taking blood pressure, monitoring pulse rates, drawing blood, and received my CPR certification. I furthered my knowledge through first-hand learning experiences about the profession of nursing and other healthcare careers.

∙ I was a server at Honey Hut Ice Cream in Brunswick, OH from June 2022 to Decemeber 2022. I provided excellent service as a server, scooper, and cashier to ensure best customer service. I managed diverse responsibilities as a store opener and closer, including inventory, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness.

Experience with R and Other Analytic Software

This class is my first experience with R. I had never been exposed to it prior to taking this course, but I have learned JAVA through my AP Computer Science course in high school.
