Introduction to Me!

Hey everyone! My name is Miguel Garcia, I am a third-year majoring in International Business and Business Analytics. I was born and raised in Guatemala, it is a beautiful country.I moved to Cincinnati when I was in high school, I sometimes miss the coffee farms and volcanoes from Guatemala but I really like watching football with my friends eating Skyline dip!!

Academic Background

Before coming to America I attended Verbo High School in Guatemala. I then transferred to Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA). I am now studying a Bachelors of Science in Business Analytics and a Bachelors of Business Administration in International Business. I studied International Business in Italy during my sophomore year in college.

Professional Background

I have interned as a business analyst at Encore Technologies and Fifth Third Bank.

Experience with R

I have not used R in the past, but it seems to have many useful tools, the more I learn about it, the more I like it.

Experience with other analytic software

Some of my technical skills include: Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Switchboard, PowerBI. Experience in front-end development, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Fundamental back-end development knowledge, Python, C++, Java, and php.
