Personal Life

Hi! My name is Jake Fraser and I am a third year at UC studying business analytics and information systems. I am from Lima, Ohio, and I am a middle child of three boys. Some fun facts about me include my love for soccer and working out.

Academic Background

At UC, I have been involved in numerous organizations, including Engineers without Borders and NEO Initiative, but I am currently serving as committee head for the Data & Tech committee of the Alpha Kappa Psi - Eta Chapter. I am planning on a future study abroad trip to Zurich, Switzerland!

Professional Background

I have completed two internships, both in the Cincinnati area. I was a Business Analyst Intern for American Benefit Corpoation, a company that handles pensions for unions across the country. My second internship was at Easy Way Products, a furniture company. I performed data analysis at both of these institutions. I am currently looking for an internship this summer. While in school, I work as a barback/security personnel at the Clifton Mac’s Pizza Pub.

Experience with R

I have no prior experience with R.

Experience with other analytic software

At my interships, I used SQL though SSMS and PowerBI to create powerful visualizations to deliver useful company insights. At UC, I use microsoft applications to practice more data analytics, including Excel and Access.
