I was born and raised in Mantova, a small city in northern Italy. I
earned a BSc in Electronics and Informatics Engineering and am currently
pursuing an MSc in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. I
have gained work experience in Italian companies, particularly in
R&D departments, where I was involved in innovation and development.
Currently, I am in Cincinnati for the Spring semester, though, so far,
it feels more like a freezing winter!

Before taking the Data Mining class, I had never used R. Everything is new to me, but I have a good background in other programming languages, hence I feel quite comfortable learning and adapting to this new environment.
Experience with other analytic software
I have a strong
programming background in C, but I also programmed in Assembly, C++,
Java, and I recently starting using softwares like Matlab and
Minitab.
