Who I Am
Hello! My name is Elena Nguyen. I am an international student from Vietnam. I’ve been in Ohio for 3 years now. I am passionate about data analytics, problem-solving, and using insights to drive business decisions. Outside of school, I enjoy exploring new cuisines, traveling, and listening to Taylor Swift!

Through my time at two previous companies - Kinetic Vision & Easy Way Products, I have:
- Successfully executed the ETL process using Microsoft SQL to extract and transform multiple reliable datasets.
- Conducted in-depth data analysis and created interactive visualizations in Power BI, delivering actionable insights to sales, finance, supply chain, and customer success teams.
- Leveraged Salesforce to enhance customer relationship management and drive data-informed strategies.
Experience with R
I am a beginner with R. To broaden my knowledge, I have enrolled in basic Introduction to R courses on DataCamp. This semester, I am also taking Data Visualization and Forecast & Risk classes, both of which require using R as well.
Experience with other analytic software
Before learning R, I already had experience with Python and SQL, which I primarily used during my internship and co-op. I also worked on personal projects using these tools to sharpen my technical skills. I believe my knowledge of both Python and SQL will be transferable to my learning process with R.
