Hi! My name is Victoria Mwangi.

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH and I have come to have a greater appreciation for the city since starting school. I love exploring Cincinnati, going to concerts, traveling, as well as arts and crafts! So far I have been to five concerts I have SZA twice, Bad Bunny, Kehlani, and Pitbull. I am going to add my sixth this summer, I’m seeing Kendrick Lamar and Sza in Chicago.

I am a second-year Business Analytics and Finance Major in the Lindner Business Honors program! I am also involved with Business Fellows, Delta Sigma Pi, and Women in Finance! I have a special place in my heart for data analysis and I am super eager to sharpen my skills.

I started off my official professional career at Fidelity Investments last summer as an Internal Audit Intern. I learned a lot about what I needed in company, a manager, and a team. They were super supportive and helpful and taught me so much. I did a lot of grunt work with research and data analysis with the internal workings of Fidelity which was super interesting to learn at my first “real” job. This summer I have an internship at Kroger as an Enterprise Sourcing Intern and I’m excited to do data analysis in terms of cost management and trend analysis with the goods and products sold by Kroger. Lastly, this fall I have a full-time internship at GE Aerospace in their FMP program and I’m excited to delve into my first corporate finace role.

I have very little experience with R and really any other analytic software outside of Excel.
