Week 1 Homework: About Me!

Who am I

Hello! My name is Jacob Alkire. I was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Dublin, Ohio. I am currently in my last semester of school at the University of Cincinnati. My hobbies are rock climbing, video games, and drawing.

Academic Background

I graduated High school in 2020 from Dublin Jerome High School. I am now on my last semester of school at University of Cincinnati where I will be graduating with bachelors in Accounting and Business Analytics as my majors.

Professional Background

I have had two internships in tax accounting for GBQ. I have one in the summer of 2023 as well as the other in the spring semester of 2024.

Experience in R

I am still have around a beginners level in R. I have a bit of experience in other classes but none of them have fully gone in depth to its full potential.

Experience with other analytic softwares

I have experience as well in Python, Tableau, and the most in Excel.
