Ariela Kurtzer
My passion is bridging the gap between people, business, and
technology. Leading with curiosity, I aim to identify and solve problems
with a blend of analytical and innovative thinking. I am a Cincinnati
native looking to branch out of the Queen City in analyst, consulting,
and project/product management roles.
Academic Background
- B.B.A in Operations Management and International Business
- University of Cincinnati: 2020 - 2024
- M.S. in Information Systems and AI in Business Graduate Certificate
- University of Cincinnati: 2024 - 2025
Professional Background
I currently work part time as a Product Owner Co-Op at Fischer
Homes. A project I am proud of is a Power BI dashboard that measures and
ranks the priority of requests in our backlog. I enjoyed exploring and
refining the data to reveal insights the team could utilize within the
scrum process.
I also work as a server/bartender at Wild Ginger in Hyde Park. The
restaurant industry has always interested me and I plan on opening my
own one day!
Previous co-ops include:
- AMEND Consulting: Analyst
- Givaudan: Supply Chain and Customer Care
- ish Arts Festival: Marketing Intern
Experience with R
My experience with R is limited to the Data Mining course in
undergrad. This was my first time coding but learning the strategic and
creative ways to make sense of data truly ignited a spark in me. This
set me on the path to pursue my MSIS.
Experience with other analytic software
- Power BI
- Tableau
- SQL
- Python
Shameless Plug
I started volunteering with the Stray Animal Adoption Program so if
you know anyone looking for a dog I would be happy to help!
