Introduction to Me!

Hello! My name is Aanika Garre, and I was born in Cincinnati, OH but raised in Louisville, KY. My parents were born in India, but came here for their higher education. I have a younger sister who is also at UC studying Preoccupational Therapy.

    • Professional Background

    I’m currently a Product Owner/Experiment Leader at Procter & Gamble in downtown Cincinnati. I am on the Next Generation Services - 10x Innovation team. In my team, I get to work on problems where solutions would deliver 10x value. It’s a great position for me to start my career in because the learning curve is so steep, but I have a very supportive team around me that’s been amazing with my onboarding and coaching.

    Experience with R

    Honestly, I have little experience with R. I took a similar class in undergrad, which was where I got the bulk of my experience with R. That being said, I do think I would’ve gained more from this class had I had some coding experience beforehand. After I took the undergrad class, I had more coding-related classes in my schedule, so I built off the foundation well.

    Experience with Other Analytic Software

    In terms of other analytic software, I have some experience with Tableau and Power BI. I’m in the process of completing a BI training/certification at work, as well as a Data Science training.
