Study Design

-Observational: the sample size was about 1400 meal transactions that took place at the 210 seat casual Mexican restaurant, Chevy's Freshmex

-Hard to generalize

-Looked at if the table was anchored or unachored, and if it was anchored, it was split into the many types: banquette versus booths versus window tables versus interior walls, banquette was significantly different from all tables.

Conclusion

-Can't draw many conclusions (definitely not causation) from this dataset: purely observational and they excluded some information, like the bar and patio seating, they only took data from busy times, and they eliminated data from overseated tables.

-1190 observations for good tables and only 150 for bad tables, fewer banquette tables

-Many conflicting factors
