This is me!

Hello! I currently serve as the Assistant Director of Academic Advising for the College of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati. I’m a first year PhD student in Sport Administration and would like to concentrate on sport analytics. I have two young boys and a daughter on the way and I’m just happy to be here.

  • M.S. in Sport Management in Administration (Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA)
  • 2017 estimated graduation with Ph.D. in Sport Administration (University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH)

Professional Background

As mentioned before I work for the University of Cincinnati, but I’m not an academic advisor in the tradtional sense. I set up resources for students, while also sifting through data to look for trends in academic performance to help create proactive initiatives for furthering student success. I also coached High School football at McNicholas High School and middle school basketball at Guardian Angels School.

Experience with R

My experience with R would be slightly under intermediate. I have completed two Data Analytics grad courses. I learned how to run descriptive statistics and some data analyses. This course has given me some other applications that have been useful.

Experience with other analytic software

I am currently working on learning SQL on my own and hope to also learn Python as well.
