I’m a Ph.D student in economics at UC. I TA in econometrics. I’m interested in economics, getting published, and graduating. I have never used R Studio before, let alone R Markdown.

Academic Background

• B.S. / B.A. in Economics/Mathematics at University of Louisville
• M.A. in Economics at Western Kentucky University

Professtional Background

I loaded packages onto the backs of trucks in a UPS warehouse before this.

Experience with R

I began using R in my prior masters program. I prefer it over any other statistical software I’ve yet used. I have used it for time series and panel data analysis along with conventional regression analysis and econometric techniques.

I also have experience in Stata, Python, MaTLAB, SAS, and Julia, although the paucity of my power is palpable in those languages compared to my experience with R. Also, I hate SAS, and anything proprietary, really.
