Profile

  • Name: Therese Line Laure JOKAM NENKAM
  • Position: Hydrogeologist and Environmental Scientist | PhD Candidate
  • Institution: University of Toyama, Japan

Hi, I’m Therese Jokam, a PhD student at the University of Toyama. My research is dedicated to understanding the complex interactions between water, dissolved elements, and ecosystems. By studying the transport and dynamics of nutrients, trace elements, rare earth elements, and radionuclides, I aim to provide valuable insights for sustainable water resource management and environmental protection. My research combines isotopic techniques, laboratory experiments, and field measurements to explore the behaviour of these elements in aquatic environments, including the role of riverine and submarine groundwater discharge in coastal ecosystems.
