Welcome to my journey with coffee—a story that starts at home. My coffee fascination began with my mother, who would start her day with a cup of coffee. Watching her, I gradually developed a taste for coffee, and it became part of my life. What started as curiosity grew into a passion, as I learned about different brewing methods like filter and espresso, and discovered the science behind perfecting each cup.
Coffee’s roots trace back to Ethiopia, where legend says a goat herder discovered coffee beans. From there, coffee spread across the Middle East, Europe, and eventually the entire world. Coffee houses became cultural hubs, places where ideas were exchanged, and communities gathered. Over time, coffee became a staple in households worldwide.
With the rising demand for coffee, production became a global
enterprise, providing livelihoods for millions, particularly in
coffee-growing regions. This map shows some of the largest
coffee-producing countries, each with unique coffee cultures and
practices. Brazil, Vietnam, and Colombia are some of the top producers,
contributing significantly to the coffee we enjoy today.
