Why

In your own words, why will you vote for [SELECTED_CANDIDATE]?

SELECTED_CANDIDATE why
Kamala Harris Bcause I won’t vote for the other candidate. I don’t like either of them and I do not like either party but Trump has made clear that he has no respect for the constitution and I cannot vote for him as I love this country and want it to continue.
Donald Trump This current administration has allowed/sponsored multiple wars with no end in sight. I can’t in good conscious vote for the same thing to continue on.
Donald Trump I dont have very high hopes for our national leadership. I at least like this person’s straightforward nature and boldness.
Jill Stein This is more of a vote against Kamala Harris and Donald Trump than for Jill Stein. I’m not happy with either of my choices from the two major parties.
Robert F. Kennedy he’s a break from the 2 party system and i don’t believe either party republican or democrat will help the american people
Kamala Harris You only really have two viable options, only two people who could possibly win. I am not a fan of Donald Trump, he is a huge liar and a bad guy, I could never vote for someone like him, so I am force to vote for Kamala Harris. I do not like Kamala Harris either, but I consider her to be the lesser of two evils.
Kamala Harris Because she is the best candidate right now for this country the others don’t have good intentions for this country
Jill Stein I despise the two candidates and am voting for Jill Stein as a protest to not having a two party system.
Donald Trump I trust him to lead our country in the right way and I had more money when he was in office things didn’t cost as much as they do now
Donald Trump Unfortunately he seems to be the lesser of all evils. I’m not a huge fan of him but I am way less of a fan of Kamala.
Kamala Harris Jill Stein has no chance at winning, nor do any of the other candidates other than Trump. I will never vote for trump.
Donald Trump I do not like Trump but will support the Republicans over the democrats. He is the least bad option for me
Donald Trump We need some change, we need new leadership. Donald Trump would take this country in a better direction. Kamala is full of empty promises.
Chase Oliver He is the only person running who even remotely matches my personal political views of maximum freedom, limited government interference. The two major parties in the United States are too similar, too big, and too corrupted for me to ever want to vote for them again.
Kamala Harris She is not perfect but she will be way better than Trump. I do no like his rhetoric or the rhetoric of his base.
Jill Stein I’m still not entirely sure, and I plan on doing more research into each candidate. In 2016, I found Jill Stein to be the best candidate to represent my views. I have a fair amount of certainty which candidate will win in my state, so I prefer to use my vote to support third parties instead.
Donald Trump Of the two people that actually could win, Trump or Harris, I think Trump would be the best for the prosperity and security of the nation.
Kamala Harris I personally would love to finally have our first female president. What she stands for and believes in is also important but most important to me she is not Trump or Biden. I am just glad there is an option that isn’t 80 years old or close to it because I think that there should be an age that is too old to be president.
Kamala Harris I don’t want Trump to be president again because I believe he’s a threat to democracy and our American values. I’m not a big fan of Kamala Harris, but there’s no other option. The only reason I’m voting for her is to keep Trump out of power.
Kamala Harris I will vote for Kamala Harris because she is a better choice than the Republican candidate Donald Trump. I trust her more than Trump, and I think her policies are far better than Trump’s policies.
Donald Trump He is going to help America become great again. He has the best plan for inflation and the economy. Our country was in way better shape.
Kamala Harris i support her policies on abortion the most and its very important to me. She also goes with my emotions on climate change, so i support her there as well. I also think she will do more to help the poor then Trump. hes going t make the rich richer. our system is giving nothing for the poor right now we are getting beat down and held down with no room to breathe
Kamala Harris Shes the lesser of the evils, she has decent stances on most topics. An i wouldnt be caught dead voting for that geriatric evil orange
Kamala Harris I’ll vote Harris to keep Trump out and to protect reproductive rights. The Republicans are very radical conservatives.
Donald Trump Because he is what our country needs. With the economy as screwed up as it is we need him back to help lower prices and inflation. We also need his tougher stance on crime and immigration.
Kamala Harris I believe she is the least bad between the two candidates. Also I genuinely believe that Tim Walz stands for the things he speaks about.
Donald Trump I don’t really have much faith or confidence in him but Kamala to me just seems completely fake and untrustworthy. I did not see any positive change with her as VP during Biden’s presidency and I don’t hear anything out of her mouth that reassures me either.
Donald Trump Donald Trump has been the president once before. I know what Donald is capable of and he is a man of his word. As long as he has the support he needs he does what he says he will do majority of the time. He is a strong leader and cares about Americans and their concerns more so than any other president we have had lately. He is not sly about his works and he is one of the most hated men in the country simply because he is stopping a lot of people from selling America out to other powers. It’s been a witch hunt since he entered office and started ruining the plans of many.
Chase Oliver I did not like Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. I would’ve chose Robert Kennedy Junior, but he is no longer in the race. I would like for there to be a third-party candidate to break up the control of the Democrat and Republican parties. I would prefer Trump over Harris, but I live in a blue state where my vote for president is not going to matter, however it will matter for Senate and House of Representatives candidates. Libertarian, small government is appealing.
Donald Trump I have weighed out the policies of both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. There are things I agree and disagree with both candidates. Donald Trump’s plan outweighs Kamala Harris’ plan, in my opinion.
Cornel West Mostly because you didn’t have my actual #1 choice, Claudia de la Cruz of the peace and freedom party, listed. I live in CA and don’t want to support the 2 party system and both candidates are awful.
Donald Trump Because I can hardly afford groceries anymore, and even stretching every dollar I have is still not enough. I’m also very worried about the crisis at the border and how much damage that’s doing to the country.
Donald Trump Because he is the most experience and good leader also. And its helps lot of peoples. And he contains a good knowledge.
Donald Trump I would vote for Trump because I believe that he has become more moderate than his first presidency, and he also has been able to answer questions about election policies with actual plans.
Jill Stein I typically vote democrat but I don’t like some of the things the democratic party has done of late. And while Jill Stein is obviously an independent party she seems to mean well. Perhaps it is time to break the two party system.
Donald Trump The issues I disagree with him on, although important, are not quite as pressing as the crises he may be able to mitigate. The U.S. has to stop militarily supporting Ukraine, and let the Russians meet their security needs over there. The other major problem I would like to see him address, and he says he shall, is the immigration crisis. There are far too many people here who should be sent back from whence they came, or somewhere else. Millions should be deported immediately.
Kamala Harris She seems to understand the needs of people like me. I think she will make like more affordable for working class people.
Donald Trump Because Kennedy dropped out and Endorsed Trump. I do not care for Harris. I don’t think she has accomplished much and she does not answer questions. Even simple questions. Which makes me think she either can’t answer or wants to hide whatever answers there are.
Kamala Harris Because there are only 2 viable parties and while I don’t particularly like Harris, I dislike Trump and his policy much more.
Cornel West He is the least likely to be bought off candidate. He believes in something besides these other candidates who have been bought and sold
Donald Trump Republican views match mine more. I don’t believe in how the democrats want to spend money oversees instead of putting money into our economy.
Chase Oliver My beliefs fit best with the Libertarian party and I don’t like either of the other candidates. I am registered republican but I cannot stand Trump as a person and Harris is way too liberal for me.
Kamala Harris She surprised me over the last several months by being more moderate than I had expected, and while I really wish she’d go into more detail about her policies, an ambiguous moderate is an easy choice over an unambiguously radical man.
Donald Trump He is better than Kamala. I do not want to vote for either but yet again we’re forced to pick between the lesser of two evils
Donald Trump Donald Trump is very active in the political scene. I don’t agree with all his antics, but I also don’t believe the President is the only one making the calls.
Donald Trump I would vote for Donald trump because I believe out of all of the candidates, while his personality is a bit toxic he presents the best option for securing the future of america
Donald Trump It’s the lesser of the 2 evils. I don’t know where kamala Harris has been the past 4 years but it hasn’t been on the job. The democrats were Terrible This past 4 years.
Kamala Harris I trust her more than Trump to keep a level head and make sound decisions especially in times of stress.
Kamala Harris Compassionate about the student loan issue. Has expressed some sort of plan for housing problems. Also is partially a vote against Trump.
Donald Trump Because he’s the least worst option. While Donald Trump can be boorish and clumsy with his language, his opponent is an empty vessel for unelected globalists to pour all of their favorite policies into. Trump is a deeply flawed man but at least he believes in something.
Donald Trump Under Biden and Harris crime, inflation, and illegal immigration is out of control. Trump can improve our economy, reduce crime and secure our border.
Donald Trump I will vote for Donald trump because he’s very strong on immigration, which is very important to me.
Kamala Harris Anybody but trump. Harris is relatively balanced, optimistic, forward-looking, and above all presidential.
Donald Trump He is the better of the 2 candidates. Harris is not qualified, she doesn’t answer the questions that are asked of her and she has been in office with Biden for nearly 4 years and things are worse for the American people and the issues she says she will solve are issues they created. So if they had plans why didn’t they go forward with them…..just saying what she thinks we want to hear and that the people are too stupid to know the difference. Trump does not want wars and the Democrats do…big money is war regardless of how many innocent people are killed
Jill Stein I think that not only is she the candidate that best represents my views, but i also want to help third parties and start the long slow process of supporting them now to make them an actual viable winning choice in future elections
Jill Stein Her anti-war and peace stance for the current wars that US is contributing to (eg supplying weapons to israel and Ukraine for War)
Donald Trump I will vote for Trump purely for his stance on immigration. The amount of undocumented people that have been allowed to come into our country and receive free social services is ridiculous. No other countries allow people to just “show up” and expect (and use tax payer dollars) to receive for free, what we, as citizens, work so hard for.
Kamala Harris Because I cannot stand Donald Trump. Once I heard former VP Dick Cheney was voting for Harris that cinched it for me.
Donald Trump This is because he is fair and also embodied with the qualities and values that resonates with me and the entire country as a whole. Also he has the leadership experience based on the current background and reputation set by him which is also a positive one. Talking about vision for the future too, he has similar ones which aligns with mines and the country as a whole which when implemented makes a positive impact in the country
Jill Stein she is anti war and anti-genocide. she isn’t corrupt or immoral. i am a Palestinian who is angry with the two main parties. i voted for her in 2012 and 2016.
Jill Stein The Green Party would stop funding all these wars as 1/2 of the US budget is going to support the military.
Jill Stein She is anti-genocide, anti-war, and has a great platform addressing all the issues that are concerning D’s and R’s today, including supporting struggling people and even animal rights.
Jill Stein Because the present democratic leadership has failed to protect the interests of American citizens at home in favor of Israeli citizens
Chase Oliver I am a libertarian so I want to support the libertarian candidate. I understand he has a 1% chance of winning, but I do not support the policies of the major party candidates so I cannot vote for them. I am voting for who I think should run the country, not a compromise candidate.
Kamala Harris I like what Kamala Harris will bring to the table. I think Donald Trump trying to make abortions illegal makes me want to vote for Kamala Harris even more.
Donald Trump I will vote for Donald Trump for president because he is the candidate that most aligns with my values and beliefs. He will set things in place to protect this country and our boarders. He is the best candidate for the job. He doesn’t believe in murdering unborn children.
Cornel West Cornel West’s views and policy positions align most closely with my own. No candidate is perfect of course, but I agree with him on most of the issues.
Kamala Harris She’s the least bad option. Donald trump can’t become president! He’s too dangerous. Although I’m not crazy about Harris either
Kamala Harris I just can’t vote for Trump as he is so extreme and could end up in jail. I don’t really like Harris but the country would be better off with Harris versus Trump.
Kamala Harris Seems the only way forward for sanity and hope. I am not really a democrat but I cannot willingly put a narcissist and potential dictator in office. I also cannot vote for the independents because they are as insane as the others
Donald Trump I’d rather vote for George Orwell but I’d choose Trump just so prices will go down locally. His policies focus on energy and when energy is cheaper all prices go down. He’s also not a warmonger that will send billions to support wars.
Robert F. Kennedy He has an agenda that I agree with, he wants us out of wars, wants us to break the ties to big pharma, and wants to make our food healthy again.
Kamala Harris She has the education, the experience, is a woman, is already the VP so has more than enough exposure to how the Government works all the up to the White House, and is in her late 50s. Not chasing 80.
Jill Stein

Both mainstream parties are completely subservient to AIPAC and the larger American project of world dominance. Neither Donald Trump nor Kamala Harris actually care about anything but their own personal gain. Donald Trump is a psycopath who should be snuffed out by ANYONE around him. Harris has backed away from all of her convictions other than her belief that Israel should be allowed to murder anyone, including American citizens, as frequently as they want.

There are no good choices and as researchers at Columbia you are at least somewhat aware of the 1st Amendment violations on campus and their unwillingness to do anything that these institutions were supposed to stand for. Fuck the Democrats, fuck the Republicans. The United States is a fascist shithole that needs to be dismantled globally.
Cornel West
  1. At this point in toime I feel that neither Trump or Harris is aligned with my views.
  2. Trump was involved in the Jan 6th incident which I did not support.
  3. Harris policies are far too liberal for me and she failed miserabley to address border issues.
  4. West offers a better alternative to the mainstream candidates who are spewing the same old ouitdated policies.
  5. A person like West would able to better handle our issues in the US today.
Kamala Harris Since the US is a two-party system, any vote outside of the two major parties really doesn’t matter since there is no ranked choice or other ways for other candidates to be viable. I’m not crazy about Harris but I am much more concerned about Trump being reelected again. So my vote for Harris more of a vote against Trump. Both political parties need to pick better candidates so my votes until then will more than likely be a vote against the other candidate.
Kamala Harris Kamala has more policies that help women and lower-income to middle-class people. Kamala seems more in touch with what most people want and will benefit from.
Donald Trump I was going to vote for Robert Kennedy Jr. originally, however since he dropped out of the race, I’ll be voting for Trump. I don’t believe in Karmala at all. She was placed on the ballot with winning any primaries. She’s fake in my opinion. I don’t love Trump either, but at least we know what he is about.
Kamala Harris I don’t want Donald Trump to win and I don’t think any of the candidates besides Kamala Harris can beat him.
Donald Trump I am more closely aligned with the policies of the Republican party. Since he first ran for president, I thought he was speaking on issues that were important to me.
Donald Trump I actually don’t have a specific reason. I think he may be lesser of the two evils. None of the candidates actually spark my interest. But I think his ideology may be better for the general population.
Donald Trump Only because I have no idea what Kamala Harris might do if actually elected to be the president. I think that we could end up in another 20 year war and that would wipe out the younger generation if she is elected. Trump has many faults and I don’t know that he would be good for the nation. But, I don’t think that he promotes war as some sort of economic solution.
Chase Oliver It’s a protest vote. The two major party candidates both suck (a complete idiot on one side, and a malignant narcicisst on the other) so i figure why not simply refuse to vote for either? I wish the two major parties could nominate somebody halfway decent, but since they can’t, I’ll cast a third party ballot as a middle finger to them both.
Kamala Harris I would vote for her essentially because she’s not Donald Trump. I don’t particularly love all of Kamala’s policies, but Trumpism needs to be defeated so Republicans can beging to return to less extreme policies.
Kamala Harris While flawed and not my ideal candidate, she is younger and is a far better alternative than Donald Trump
Kamala Harris Because she’s not a rapist and believes in basic human rights. I don’t think asking someone to just not be a terrible person should be that hard for a presidential election, all of these choices are people who are monsters.
Robert F. Kennedy I think the two party system is the biggest problem in America. I know he will not win but I think we need to get a large enough percent of the vote to start and move this country out of the system we have and into something more like Europe with many different parties running.
Kamala Harris because i feel that i have to. i wont vote for trump no matter what happens and because every election year we are left with only two candidates that actually have a chance of winning i feel that i am forced to pick between the two and harris is the better option.
Kamala Harris As crazy as it sounds, I was fine with all the insane toxicity of Trump and JD Vance until I found out that Vance washes his cast iron pans in a dishwasher. I have the same strong dislike for woke and leftist bullshit that they express and I actually like their aggressiveness in standing up against the political correctness liberals embody. I can tolerate their toxicity because they are a product of their environments, but one thing I cannot tolerate is doing something completely against the most basic common sense of not washing cast iron in a dishwasher. Only a psychopath or an idiot would do something like that. My vote isn’t for Kamala, it’s against JD Vance.
Kamala Harris she is looking out for the middle class and not offering tax cuts for the rich and she is also in favor of reproductive freedom
Donald Trump I think it did not work the management of the presidential office by Biden and Kamala and due to that I believe it is time to change back to Trump
Kamala Harris She is the candidate that more closely represents my values and hope for the future of my country. I cannot and will not vote for Donald Trump and will not waste my vote on another option when votes are going to be so crucial for this years election.
Jill Stein I believe she is one of the few genuinely committed to enacting the necessary reforms that will rescue this country from the clutches of its current nefarious leaders. She is prepared to cease the country’s involvement in unnecessary wars and to implement changes in healthcare, environmental policy, and financial management that will steer the nation back onto the correct path.
Donald Trump Donald Trump is the clear favourite to win the US presidential election.I am going to support the Republican nominee. The elites try to understand what is happening in America and act accrdingly in the election
Kamala Harris Although I don’t feel briefed enough on all the topics I’m interested in kamala seems to have a few great core points
Kamala Harris Because I think Donald Trump is a fool. I don’t know. She’ll run the country real well, but then I don’t want to be in a situation with him being so damn hateful.
Kamala Harris Because she is a better choice then Donald Trump. She seems to have her right mind and doesn’t talk about nonsense and she is more worried about the country. She seems to not be to old and can remember things
Kamala Harris I don’t really like Harris to be honest , but I like Trump much less, and at this time I would trust a Harris administration more than a trump one
Donald Trump I will for for Donald Trump because he is not as bad as the alternative. I already know that Trump won’t start World War 3 or kill every Mexican.
Kamala Harris She has a much more focused plan than her opponent, Trump, and I appreciate her efforts toward more affordable housing. Her comments about being a renter before and understanding that struggle makes me believe she will actually act on that promise to the best of her ability. As an educator, I also value the time she’s taken to prioritize addressing education and teachers in particular, such as when she came to visit Houston where I live. Finally, I think she will cause far less division and as a more moderate voter, I don’t consider her to be “far left”” or too liberal. I think she would offer a welcome balance.
Donald Trump He stong, has good policies, and loves America.hes not afraid to do the right thing for us. He knows how to stop wars and conflict and won’t get us into any new ones.
Robert F. Kennedy I am more in tune with the policies he supports and he is not as toxic and name calling his rival every minute he gets
Kamala Harris Because she seems better than all the alternatives and is more moderate than I thought she might be.
Kamala Harris I believe that Trump is immoral and unethical, and I also believe that Harris is the best and most viable option to beat him out. I was not a fan of what she did in Oakland/California, but I do like the fact that she showed well in the debate vs trump and comes across as more of a moderate than a progressive democrat
Donald Trump I believe he’s the only legitimate candidate who can fix a lot of the problems since he’s willing to point them out.
Jill Stein because the “normal” parties are a mess. Both the democratic and republican candidates are awful. Jill has some different ideas, and we need to do something different
Donald Trump He is good at what he does. He will improve the economy and make life easier in the next four years. He is the best choice for making America great again.
Donald Trump I will vote for Donald Trump mainly because he is what the other leaders don’t want. He goes against the grain.
Cornel West I don’t really care for Kamala or Donald. I am a independent and also am not a fan of Kennedy so I would likely vote for Cornel.
Donald Trump He has experience at the job and the country was in a relatively good place when he was President. I am confident he will do something to help stem the illiegal immigration problem. Kamala has no experience, cannot even speak about any policies she might have, and has done nothing notable whatsoever as VP. She let the border rage out of control and does not seem to care. This administration has shipped in thousands of immigrants, giving them housing, health care, free food, all with tax payer money. It has to stop. American citizens should be benefiting from our tax money, not illegal immigrants.
Kamala Harris It’s mostly about not voting for Donald Trump. I need the Republican party to be done with him. As far as Harris goes, I think she’ll be fine to bad, but she won’t be the divisive and frightening President that a second term Trump would be.
Kamala Harris Because she seems the most competent to represent the country in the world scale. A women at this post will show how progress the country is and how open minded the country is . However it is important that we see he plan of action because polititians always make processes that don’t come to fruition so it is important to see something palpable
Donald Trump As much as I disagree with Trump’s past actions, I can see the distress our current economy is in. I believe Trump is the correct candidate to fix this and take a large burden off Americans’ backs.
Kamala Harris Kamala Harris is a goal oriented person to lead as a government and with him on power, i know our economical status will improve very well and our country will be the best under his leadership. He is going to help get more employment in the country and make sure that laws and order are well followed and the country is going to be a very good and peaceful place to be and to stay in comfortable. His personality also is one of the reason why i will vote for him because he is free to approach and to speech with. He is down to human and i admire him for that
Chase Oliver I try to always vote 3rd party so I will take their information in 1st before looking at the main 2 party candidates. I’m voting for Oliver because he is for individual choice, I think there is too much involvement with the government and it should be up to each individual. I love his stance on immigration, anyone should be allowed to come here and to make the process more accessible to others. He is young and seems more in tune with how the younger generation need this country to be handled.
Kamala Harris She has good policies and is not crazy. She seems to be more concerned about fixing the problems of the country
Kamala Harris to lessen trump’s chance of winning. i don’t want to vote for kamala at all, but i always end up voting for the lesser evil.
Cornel West This is more of a protest vote than anything. We do need a viable third party in this country. We have an increasing number of independent voters in this country but we need a strong financed third party
Donald Trump I believe he will strengthen the economy and work bring prices down. I also believe that he will work on the border and national security
Donald Trump He seems to be the best for the economy. I think that is the most important issue right now. Harris doesn’t seem to have a hashed out plan.
Donald Trump He offers the best solutions for the safety and affordability of living. He has shown he can run the country and keep the USA strong. While I do not agree with some of his policies and ideas. He is the best candidate to fix what the Biden-Harris administration destroyed. Life has been really hard for the working poor and middle class. We need relief. Nothing is affordable anymore, and our country is no longer safe.
Donald Trump He is the better of the two main candidates, I don’t think RFK has a chance so it feels like a wasted vote.
Kamala Harris Of the two viable options, she is the one that is sane and rational. I cannot in good conscience vote for Donald Trump to govern the country (again).
Kamala Harris while i’ve been pretty disappointed in her playing to the center and right (particularly on the border), she’s still clearly the best shot we have at stopping a second Trump presidency and thus the return of full-throated fascism. hell, maybe she’ll even use some of her prosecutorial experience to actually bring some consequences against the people who actively tried to overthrow the government in 2020, and perhaps their more passive enablers! but i’m not holding my breath.
Cornel West I believe he must aligns with me in my ideals. I also respect him more than any of the other candidates running. I really believe he is the smartest and most capable of all candidates. He by far is the most progressive thinking.
Chase Oliver The Libertarian Party is the party that most closely aligns with my political views. I also live in New Jersey, a state that should be a lock for Kamala Harris, so I feel no pressure to vote for either of the major parties in this election.
Jill Stein She is the only candidate that has consistently demanded that Israel accept a ceasefire deal. She also supportz reparations.
Kamala Harris Trump is sort of dangerous especially with Project 2025 and the Heritage Foundation’s plans. I also like some of her plans like the down payment assistance for first time homeowners who have paid rent on time.
Donald Trump Kamala Harris has already proven she is useless as Vice President over the past three years or so. The world is too chaotic now for another airheaded puppet doing nothing other than what their advisors tell them to. She wasn’t nominated, she was selected. She doesn’t automatically get the nomination because she was Biden’s vice presidential pick. It’s ironic that the party that’s always screaming about saving democracy is always the one subverting it. It just comes down to picking the candidate and party that’s not dangerous to your civil rights.
Donald Trump Because I think he is the lesser of the two evils. I like Trump, with all of his idiosyncrasies, better than Kamala Harris, who I feel is totally incompetent.
Chase Oliver Both democrats and republicans have failed the average citizen. The country needs a third party. Independents won’t win but if enough people vote for them, they can be a viable option in the future.
Kamala Harris Because she is not Donald Trump. He is vile. I vote mostly based on character and she seems like a person with integrity even if I don’t agree with all of her policies.
Donald Trump At this point because he is more familiar and I already know of his policies. They do not align perfectly to mine but I think overall he is the most trustworthy.
Donald Trump Because I think that he has good business acumen and he has experience doing the job. I also think he is a tough but good negotiator.
Robert F. Kennedy Don’t really have faith in any candidate and just would be voting based on the name reputation if I’m being honest
Robert F. Kennedy I believe that we need to shake up who’s in office, a independent would Do that. I do not fr comparable voting for trump or camila
Robert F. Kennedy He is a great candidate who support women’s rights and abortion. He always follows what the Americans want and not his own agenda
Donald Trump I would vote for Donald Trump, because I think he may be able to help get the economy back to what it was like previously. Either he might be able to increase working wages or help reduce inflation costs. He may also help enact some type of law to decrease illegal immigrants from crossing the border and committing crimes here in the U.S. I think he would try to do what is best for Americans.
Donald Trump He does not seem as threatening to the core of America as what Kamala represents. He does not make me feel like a problem, while Kamala does.
Kamala Harris I believe her policies are more helpful to the working and middle class than Trump’s policies. I believe he’s only out to help the rich and socially backwards, whereas Harris is more forward-thinking and will do more good for people like me.
Kamala Harris She seems a lot more competent than Trump. I feel like Trump is trying to get into the office with bad intentions and to only benefit himself for the next 4 years. I am not a believer that if he took office that everything would drop and price/interest rates drop as they did the last time he was in office. Trump is not a politician.
Kamala Harris I believe VP Harris is the best choice to lead the country between the two. Her focus on the middle in my believe is the right strategy.
Cornel West His views are far from normal and that is exactly what I’m looking for. Radical movement is what i am looking for at best and we need change.
Kamala Harris

On one hand, I feel like she’s going to make history as the first woman president, but beyond historical milestones, I like her stance on economic policy and putting companies in check for price gouging using inflation as an excuse. It’s clear she has the common American in mind with her campaign and not getting in bed with billionaires like Trump.

Honestly it’s both a game of being in favor of Harris and her policy propositions but also being against Trump and what he stands for. Project 2025 sounds like the modern day Little Red Book or another sort of dictatorial manifesto that, while Trump claims he either has no idea or doesn’t endorse P-2025, it’s a terrifying document that any American who claims to love this country would reject on principle. Kamala Harris is one of them who promises not to enact any of those policies.
Kamala Harris I am Republican. However, I do not like Trump. So, will vote for Harris. Trump politicized the citizens. He can do anything he wants to win the elections which is not good for the US.
Donald Trump He is the only candidate that I believe will keep us out of a war with Russia. His past performance shows that he doesn’t care to have the military involved in other countries affairs.
Kamala Harris because im sick of being lied to by trump and i think my values allign more with the democrats in things that i actually care about
Donald Trump Donald Trump has proved himself to be a good president. I know that he cares about this country and what is best for it. He Does not have to run for president after everything they have put him through, but yet he still is her for us. He will make America great again.
Donald Trump He is better than the other choices that we were given but I don’t care for any of the options and wish we had more choices
Donald Trump I feel that my hands are tied and don’t really have any good choices. I do not like Harris or Trump but I dislike Harris and her policies more. I don’t like the way the country is currently being handled by Biden and I feel that we would have more of the same with Harris. I feel that if I voted for any other contenders it would just be throwing away a vote.
Donald Trump He is very ecstatic with his humorous words and controversial in the world of presidents with politics.
Robert F. Kennedy He seemed like a relatively rational third party candidate. I believe he would’ve been effective and ethical about the issues with homelessness, illegal immigration and gun violence, as well as been more of a mediator with the wars between Russia/Ukraine and Israel.Gaza. Basically,
Kamala Harris Because she can beat Trump and then we can organize for a workers party and beat Kamala. She is a genocidal maniac, but at least she is pro-choice.
Donald Trump I expect he will be much better on immigration, and even if he is worse on other issues I care about, I don’t expect the Democratic party will change much even if they win.
Kamala Harris I tend to lean Democrat, and I like a lot of the things she stands for. It’s also a little bit the lesser evil, I have to admit.
Kamala Harris Because I have to roll the dice between someone who will continue the cycle, and someone who is a facist and abetting facists. It’s a pretty simple choice
Donald Trump His focus on securing the southern border, his focus on investigating why our children are sick and implementing healthy living policies. The biggest reason is his policy to remove taxes on all over time pay, reduce utility bill by 50% and make groceries affordable again. All life changing policies for me and my family.
Donald Trump I would vote for Donald Trump because he seems more capable of doing something for us. He seems like his personality will help our economy get back to where it needs to be. Also, he needs to shut our border. I like that he wants to do this.
Donald Trump I would vote for Trump due to his policies aligning with my beliefs. I do not particularly like what he says but he seems less fake than Kamala to me. I feel that he made the country a better place than before he was president in my opinion. He is the less of two evils and I would rather have more money in my pocket as well for my family and he seems to focus towards this goal.
Donald Trump Probably the only sole reason is because he didn’t push got a gun reform. He doesn’t want to ban gun and hurt my 2nd amendment. I also didn’t enjoy Kamala’s ridiculous plan to tax iras that are still being invested
Kamala Harris because she didn’t try to steal the election in 2020, she didn’t encourage her followers to storm the Capitol, she didn’t commit dozens of felonies, she didn’t entice secretaries of state to change the tally results, and she didn’t send slates of fake electors to certify the election.
Donald Trump I will vote for Donald Trump because of his alignment of values, economic policies, social issues, his charisma, experience, perceived competence.
Donald Trump

We have seen what Harris has done for the past 3 years and it has been an absolute train wreck. Inflation is sky high and crime is out of control. There is also the threat of WW3 since our enemies see that there is a weak administration in the White House.

We have had a Trump presidency and other than the last year during COVID, things were pretty great under him. Inflation was low, crime was low, immigration was controlled, and the world was the most peaceful Ive seen in my lifetime.
Kamala Harris She believes in democracy and does not want to further divide our country like Donald Trump. As far as protecting essential bodily autonomy…Kamala won’t ban abortions like Trump. I also think she is more in touch with the middle class than the republicans and she knows what issues in the economy are hurting people (people like me)
Cornel West He took the time to speak to my city. I really want to vote for someone independent. The issues are pretty much laid out. I disapprove of how either party is doing in America. So that leaves me with those candidates.
Donald Trump Considering all the candidates, Donald Trump is the most likely to keep us safe and to allow our economy to prosper.
Chase Oliver He’s the only candidate talking about government spending, which to me is the most important issue. I agree with a lot of his stances though not all. But I feel we need to move in a new direction and get away from the same two-party system.
Donald Trump I think Trump has better economic policies, which our country needs currently. Trump will help the economy and improve the lives of millions of Americans who are struggling. He’s also more conscious about government spending than Harris.
Donald Trump I think that the US economy was doing great under his previous leadership, and I think that he should be given an opportunity to help it again. I am socially conservative in my views and the democratic party has strayed very far to the left.
Donald Trump immigration, economy, international affairs would be better for us under trump. Kamala’s border policies are not clear and I am afraid we will be in the same situation we are in right now.
Donald Trump I have more positive feelings toward Donald Trump than any other candidate. I feel like he has thoroughly spoken about or provided information about what his policies will be in office. While I do not agree with some of hid behavior, I think that he will do the best job in office.
Kamala Harris it seemed like the less aggressive choice and less of a risk to the country as a whole. Running the country onto the path of total destruction seems to be on Trump’s agenda.
Donald Trump I believe that he is worthy of the position because he has been there before and not only that, but i personally prefered how things were when he was in power
Robert F. Kennedy I trust him more than the other candidates. He didn’t succumb to the covid hysteria. he is independent and intelligent.
Kamala Harris I would vote her to make history as the first Indian Black American woman president and also her policies, i believe she will do well in that seat.
Donald Trump Based on Security of the U.S. interest with other World Leaders, he was respected and held the NATO and UN Members accountable for their financial burdens. He instituted a plan to preserve the Family according to Gods intention of family. He lowered taxes on Businesses to give more opportunity for job expansion here in the U.S. and placed heavy Tariffs on imported goods in order for U.S. Manufactuing to have an equal competitive opportunity.
Cornel West

As a protest vote against our country continuing to send money and support to countries committing war crimes, not declaring an environmental emergency, and sitting back while innocent citizens in out own country are put to death for a crime they didn’t commit.

If I was in a swing state I might consider for voting for Kamala, but I vote in a staunchly blue state so I don’t have that issue. I also want more options in or elections and building up another party is a fair aim.

I also like Cornel West; he is a brave speaker and a good man. There is no chance he will win, but he may garner attention for important issues.
Jill Stein Jill stein’s support for Palestine is great because it reflects her commitment to social justice and her alignment with the right side of history. Voting for her means supporting a candidate that is not afraid of addressing complex global concerns while advocating for the under-represented.
Kamala Harris Many admire her for her commitment to social justice, her experience as a prosecutor, and her advocacy for policies like healthcare reform and climate action. Supporters often appreciate her ability to represent diverse communities and her focus on issues like women’s rights and criminal justice reform. Her role as the first female Vice President also inspires many who see her as a trailblazer for future generations.
Kamala Harris I believe Kamala’s beliefs align more with mine. I believe in pro-choice and a women’s right to choose. I also believe in helping the middle class family more.
Kamala Harris She is the better option. And will implement reforms that Obama planned to implement. Also, she has a more diverse political experience as well as legal expertise
Kamala Harris Only because she is the democratic candidate and no one else would beat Trump. I Dont think that she is the best and most qualified for the position.
Kamala Harris Her policy positions more closely align to my own view on what needs to happen in our country. She seems to value equality; ensuring that all people are treated equally and that poor and middleclass citizens get treated better economically.
Donald Trump Because I don’t like that kamala harris has had all of this time in office to do what she’s saying she would do and has done none of it already.
Chase Oliver Because the libertarian party should have a larger presence in this country. The two party system is destroying civility amongst people and does nothing to better this country.
Donald Trump I am particularly horrified by the antics of the DNC, from their support of terrorists at the ivy league to the rampant abuse of the legal system to attack their political opponents, not to mention their abdication of their duty to protect the border.
Kamala Harris The other viable options are really quite bad. I can’t imagine ever voting for Trump. I’ve thought he was a clown my entire life, even prior to his foray into politics. And the other candidates are not serious, and even if they were, they are all deeply flawed. That leaves me with Harris as the best of a group of not ideal options.
Donald Trump The economy was doing much better during is term. Also I am worried about the immigrants pouring into our country. I believe the wall is much needed. Those are my two main reasons for voting for Trump
Kamala Harris While I am against the current state of partisan politics, I think the Democrats are at least less psychotic than Republicans. They seem to be more interested in building rather than destroying at the present moment.
Kamala Harris Only one of the main party candidates will win, and I don’t want Trump to win, so I have to vote for Harris.
Kamala Harris I feel that given the climate of the country, the democratic side holds true the values of America more. I don’t agree with some of her ideas and policies, however, Trump and the republican side have created so much divide and hatred I would like to see them take a step back and be humbled. Maybe by losing twice they will start to stray away from the hate and fear message they have been spreading over the last 8 years.
Robert F. Kennedy He represents and fights for health freedom, and that is my biggest issue with the country right now.
Kamala Harris She has had a really positive mood lately in terms of leading this country, and so I trust her the most to make us Americans proud.
Kamala Harris She is a better option than Trump, lesser of two evils. I don’t anticipate a lot of changes that are good for the working class with Trump either. We need someone to represent us, not put us aside.
Donald Trump I feel like he is the best out of the candidates listed. That does not mean that he himself is a good choice because he is not.
Donald Trump I prefer his policies over Harris, especially regarding the economy. I also dislike how the Democratic Party put forward a candidate without having a primary to let the people choose.
Donald Trump Let me start by saying that I’m not necessarily a fan of the man. I think he’s kind of a buffoon, but at the same time I think he will be good for our economy.
Donald Trump Candidate with plausible chance of winning and most plausible chance of enacting/not-vetoing policies that will allow me to keep more of the money, goods and services I transact for.
Robert F. Kennedy I think he is about the people os the USA. He wants healthy affordable food and lower taxes. He has a since of what we need as Americans. The taxes and lower gas prices are needed I the lives of the people who are struggling to get by everyday with the help from him he could help lower medications and help to lower Healthcare prices. He would work for the everyday people that are trying to get by with what they have
Kamala Harris She seems innovative and ready to do a great job. She is fresh and modern. I like her energy and some of her ideals
Donald Trump He is the better choice than Kamala. He may be a hot mess but I think he may fix the economy than Kamala Harris will. She has been vice president under Joe and has not fixed anything.
Donald Trump I think that Trumps plan for the economy is better than Kamala’s. He has a track record of success, he has already done the job, and I trust him to do the job again. He will put America first.
Donald Trump Donald Trump is the lesser of two evils in this election…. I do not like the Republican party at all, but Trump is an acceptable alternative to Kamala Harris, who would be a disaster for my interests.
Kamala Harris I feel she would be a better president. remember Trump has already been on the verge of being impeached.
Donald Trump I am voting for Donald Trump because I feel the state of the economy was better during his presidency, and the world was a better and more peaceful place as a whole. Despite many of his shortcomings when it comes to manners, he did a good job as a president.
Donald Trump I would vote because i like his econmic policies better than harris. i think he would be a better leader for our country overall even though he is an odd person.
Robert F. Kennedy Because he is not doing this for show, I believe he will actually turn America around. He seems to be really knowledgable on what needs to e done and who needs to be removed from office. I believe he would keep America from going to war.
Kamala Harris She has the right intentions for the country and I believe she will do well and she definitely won’t let the voters down
Donald Trump I dislike essentially all candidates. Of candidates I dislike, I dislike Trump’s policies the least. I think that Trump has a lot of terrible beliefs but is wise when it comes to economic matters.
Kamala Harris I would vote for Kamala Harris because Trump is a despicable human being. He’s done more to divide this country than anyone in recent history. He’s a conman, a rapist, and purposely would walk into teen pageant dressing rooms to see teens naked. He’s unhinged, has the vocabulary of a third grader, and is not someone I want representing our country.
Kamala Harris I believe Kamala Harris will best uphold the principles of the United States Constitution. Ultimately this is the most important thing to be in this election. I do not agree with all of her policies but she is the only viable candidate. Donald Trump is a man of poor moral character, and I do believe he cares at all about the constitution or the rule or law. Under no circumstances can I vote for Donald Trump.
Kamala Harris I think it’s the best option from the candidates provided. I’m worried about Trump being elected and I think Kamala is the best option the democrats have. Any 3rd party vote right now would not help otherwise I’d consider Jill Stein for the green party.
Kamala Harris Better overall candidate. Seems more focused on the issue at hand instead of being a self promoter. May not have the best interest of the country either but I think will do less damage to it than anyone else. May cause less societal convulsing. The only caveat would be if the economy and security of the country does not improve.
Kamala Harris Kennedy isn’t running anymore and I would rather eat a banana laced in razor blades than vote for trump. I don’t know enough about the other candidates to make a decision about them at this moment.
Donald Trump He has concrete policies and will close the border. He will make energy cost go down and lower inflation.
Robert F. Kennedy This candidate is outside of the typical two party power structure. I feel that he may be able to make a difference and change things. Although he has some ideas that I don’t agree with, he seems like a relatively genuine person.
Kamala Harris I am in favor of her policies such as tax cuts for middle-class families, making rent and homeownership more affordable, bringing back protection for abortions, and working to bring down the cost of health care. I feel that Kamala’s policies align with my moral and ethical values and she has a solid plan to bring this country back on track and out of the hands of white Christian nationalists.
Donald Trump I think between him and the other candidates, he has the potential to do a much better job stimulating our economy, and ensuring the strength of the country
Cornel West I feel his policies resemble my beliefs. He is very articulate and committed to his principles. I find him very inspirational. He is the best candidate.
Kamala Harris I think she represents the reasonable alternative to Trump, who I do think possesses too many crazy values and perspectives. His rhetoric is bad for the country. I do think she has adopted some more moderate views and policies since she last ran, and appears to be a very sharp individual.
Cornel West He’s the ONLY candidate with progress as a goal, the only one with integrity of any kind, and the only one with an actual education. I do not agree with all of his ideas and policies, but he’d be lightyears better than the orange traitor or the diversity hire.
Kamala Harris I think she will do more for the middle class. I also think she will do a better job lowering the cost of living
Donald Trump I believe he will fix the economy, create more jobs and get inflation under control. Also, I feel that he will definitely get illegal immigration under control and start mass deportations of illegal migrant criminals. Donald Trump will have a better chance at ending the wars which is something the current administration has no interest in.
Donald Trump He did a good job when he was last in office and I think he will continue to do well if given another chance
Jill Stein

I dont want to support the two-party system. Kamala Harris and Donald Trump do not care about climate change and insist on sending bombs and weapons to Israel that kill thousands of people.

While I do not think Jill Stein will win, and I do not think highly of Jill Stein, the two parties will be furious that many people decided not to vote for them, and may try to cater to the interests of third-party voters for no reason other than their own enrichment.
Robert F. Kennedy I don’t want the other two in office, I have not registered to vote, but if I had too vote for someone it would be him. I agree with more of what he stands for.
Kamala Harris I will vote for Kamala Harris because most of her views and changes that she wants to make align with what my way of thinking and how I think things should change. In my opinion I also believe that Harris is the best suited for the position at hand. She’s smart, capable, well-respected, supports women, wants to pass gun control reform and make billionaires pay their fair share. And if we lose, the alternative is an end to democracy as we know it.
Donald Trump I agree with many of his policies and the current track of the country I believe is not sustainable if the current party stays in charge for another four years.
Kamala Harris Kamala Harris will protect women’s rights. She will also protect the Affordable Care Act. She also recently discussed programs for first time home buyers and small businesses.
Donald Trump Our economy is suffering, and it needs to return to normal. I do not feel like Kamala is the one that is capable of bringing it back.
Donald Trump I will vote for Donald Trump because I believe he is the leader we need right now and i think he will make good choices for America.
Kamala Harris I am afraid about the changes that would come to our country if Trump were re-elected. I have much more confidence in someone who is a lawyer and an attorney general as well as a more traditional politician than Trump.
Cornel West His politics best align with mine, he best represents my interests. He is the only one who would care about me.
Jill Stein Because I am unhappy with the two major political party choices. Though I am a democrat I am unhappy with that party choice at this time.
Donald Trump I think he will be a better leader for the country. I also think he will do a better job managing the economy while keeping inflation down.
Donald Trump I think he is the best among the candidates He runs the country economically and politically better. I support Trump
Donald Trump Because I feel as if he did some good things for our nation. He has a better chance of making progress than the other candidates do.
Kamala Harris I’m hoping she will stand with the middle-class people like she says she will. I grew up middle class and worked hard to get where I am.
Donald Trump Because Kamela has done literally nothing as vice president. She flip-flops between her stances on certain topics and just cannot be trusted. The current administration pays Ukraine and Israel billions of dollars with no receipts as to where the money is actually going, all the while we have many issues in the US that needs the attention/money more. Kamela won’t do anything to address this, while under Trump leadership my groceries weren’t super expensive, there wasn’t an issue with Illegal migrants in this country committing crime, and people were generally happier.
Kamala Harris While I don’t necessarily support all of Harris’s platform, I sincerely dislike and distrust Donald Trump. Unfortunately, third party candidates are not viable, although they would be my preference. The main motivation I have is making sure Trump is not elected again.
Kamala Harris Because she will solve the gun issues in this country, also because she’s a girl and I think we need a woman president.
Kamala Harris Mostly because she is the only candidate who has a chance of beating Trump, and I loathe Donald Trump and everything he stands for. I don’t really like Harris much, either, and I’m not really sure what her policies are.
Kamala Harris Kamala can lead the country through these tough times. She will allow Aid to people who need if. She will improve laws to help everyone. She wants to make American better for all.
Donald Trump Trump is willing to answer any question given to him about policy. Also, all the assassination attempts against Trump makes him a more sympathetic candidate. His stance on abortion being that states should decide is something I can agree with. The economy was better under him and I think many of my family and friends had a better life in during his presidency than now.
Cornel West I will vote for Cornel West because I do not support the two-party system. Both the Democratic and Republican are deeply mired in corruption from big businesses and lobbyist. If politicians from either party acted in the interests of the people and not from their paymasters, I might have some faith in either one of these parties.
Donald Trump I would vote for Donald Trump because the democratic party is out to seek control rather than freedom. I also feel the economy was and will be better under Trump. I think Trump would do a better job of handling all of the conflict in the middle east. I want the wars to end!
Cornel West Because Cornel West supports an arms embargo to stop Israel’s genocide in Palestine. I would find it morally unconscionable to vote for Harris due to her ongoing material support of genocide, and, out of the two anti-genocide candidates to vote for as a protest vote (West and Stein), West is more genuine in his beliefs.
Donald Trump I think Donald Trump is the better choice. He’s better on the economy. He’s way more experienced than Kamala Harris. He’s transparent with the people you see him talking to everybody. Kamala Harris looks suspicious and shady because she’s hiding and doesn’t talk to anyone that makes me think she’s unqualified
Kamala Harris She is not running on ultra conservative agendas. Everything Trump is doing is insane to me. He should be in jail.
Cornel West I refuse to vote for Kamala Harris for as long as she supports the genocide in Palestine. Cornel West at least has a platform that I firmly approve of and he is openly against the genocide and apartheid.
Donald Trump With biden/harris the economy has gone to shambles. Inflation has gone through the roof and immigration is out of control. I believe Donald Trump will help us get things back in order. Also Trump met with all the world leaders that most presidents were too scared to meet with. I believe that he will do the things that will keep us safe and that other presidents were timid to do. He does what he says he is going to do. Harris is going to be more of the same as its been the last 4 years. They fumbled the pandemic and just let all americans down. I usually am more democrate but i just cant support them anymore.
Donald Trump I do not personally trust Kamala Harris. Everything about her seems manufactured or orchestrated. That is my primary reason for not voting for her.
Cornel West He’s independent and not everyone else. I don’t trust anyone else and I don’t want one of the major parties to win
Kamala Harris She wants to protect woman and womans rights she wants to realy do what is best for the people as far as i can tell by what she says
Kamala Harris She is the better choice between Donald Trump. Trump is an existential threat to democracy. I would never
Kamala Harris Because we tried Trump and it didn’t work out. So it’s important that we keep him out of the White House, because we don’t need another January 6fh.
Kamala Harris Of all the candidates, only two have a chance of winning. All the other candidates are distractions from the main vote. The choice is between a known liar, criminal, con man and a politician who believes it is in the best interest to the country to help the people. My vote will be for less drama, and more cooperation, less screaming how unfair things are and more positivity, less crazy and more sanity
Robert F. Kennedy I’m not a fan of either Kamala or Trump. I’d vote for Kennedy as a sign of support even though he has zero chance of winning due to the way the system is constructed.
Kamala Harris To be frank, at this point anyone is better than Trump. So she has basically become my default choice at the moment but that could change. However, at this current moment Kamala Harris is likely to get my vote.
Robert F. Kennedy Because I reconize the name. I would want him in but I believe he is working for the Trump campaign now. So I don’t believe he is in the running any longer.
Cornel West he has views that most closely align with mine and is not a complete joke like the other candidates are here
Robert F. Kennedy Don’t like either of the 2 major parties, I believe Robert F. Kennedy would be a better choice then Harris or Trump.
Kamala Harris I feel she is the one that would make the most sense. She is someone that cares about the american people. She wants to help others and doesn’t want the country to be divided.
Donald Trump He’s transparent , Kamala just going for a job she’s kind of didn’t say she wanted. Trump dirty laundry is out n we know his bad behaviors but he ain’t hiding it
Kamala Harris I will vote for Kamala to keep Trump out of office. I don’t know if she can do the job well but I know she can do it better than him.
Kamala Harris Realistically, it is between her and Trump. I am not a fan of the man. I would vote for anyone that isn’t him to keep him out of office.
Robert F. Kennedy I think he’s most open-minded. I saw videos of him speaking with various communities, and it seemed like he was willing to work with them to earn their vote. He comes from a family where politics is the family business, so he is familiar since early childhood.
Kamala Harris Kamala will bring back in politics being boring and keep the government functioning consistently. Therefore, the issue is the fact that the republicans do not want a viable candidate.
Donald Trump In exclusive interviews, the former President lays out a second-term agenda that would reshape America and its role in the world.
Robert F. Kennedy I would vote for kennedy because he doesn’t share the conventional beliefs of his counter parts but rather the views of those who are over looked so I relate to Kennedy and also he is very knowledgeable in relations to economics and human rights.
Donald Trump He has experience with being a president and knows the job. He also believes in reducing illegal immigration which can help the US economy and crime.
Chase Oliver Because none of options are good enough,Chase Oliver is independent and that’s why I probably vote for him but still niot sure.
Donald Trump When President Trump was in office, I had more money in my pocket. He is a business person. Therefore he can help the economy and also handle the immigration issue. VP Kamala Harris was in charge of the border, she allow it to get out of hands. She is turning to place into a third world country. She doesn’t care about anything but herself. She just wants to be the first. I would love to see a female as president but not her. She doesn’t deserve it. Donald Trump can put this country back on track. Immigrant is issue here and all over the world. Something needs to be done about it.
Kamala Harris Donald Trump’s tariff plans will screw our economy and make our prices way higher, and his fact connection with Project 2025 is unacceptable. Also, our country simply cannot survive another four years of political division with Donald Trump. I’m not a huge fan of Harris, but I’ll gladly support her any day over Trump.
Chase Oliver I have no desire to vote for any of the candidates this year due to extreme ideological disagreement. So I will be voting for the least of all evils, and that’s this unqualified “libertarian” Chase Oliver.
Donald Trump I will vote for Trump because I believe in his economic policies, which have historically promoted growth and job creation. His America first approach resonates with me, prioritizing national interest and border security.
Robert F. Kennedy I don’t like either of the main canidates. I think that all the politicians are not working for Americans but working to fill their own pockets. Hoping Kennedy bring independent maybe he hasn’t been swayed to either side
Robert F. Kennedy I do not particularly like Kennedy, but I find the current Democratic Party abhorrent, and although I was a Democrat until 2020 I absolutely cannot stomach voting for them. I would rather vote for Trump, since although I do not like his personality or behavior I agree with a fair amount of the Republican platform, but it’s not not worth the censure I would get from my family and friends. That leaves Kennedy by default, and if he were still running I would vote for him simply because I think that it is good for third parties to demonstrate that they can come up with strong support.
Kamala Harris Hoping for a change and really not too many options. I think she would do good for society. I am at a toss on up on some issues, but as of right now I would vote for Kamala Harris.
Cornel West He seems to be the most intelligent. He is not bias & understands what the people needs. The other parties have been embarrassing and have said little or nothing to convince me that they are competent enough to run our country. Our choices are a convicted felon and someone who has done nothing. I am confident that Cornel West would do a better job then any other party running.
Robert F. Kennedy I think it is time to right the wrongs of history and put a Kennedy into office. I also think that a lot of what he says makes sense.
Donald Trump Harris would have policies that damage the economy, like price fixing. In addition, I don’t like her stance on abortion and hand-outs for student loan debt.
Donald Trump Trust me… I don’t want to vote for trump. I have been a Democrat all of my life until I recently started identifying as a weak republican. The reality is that I feel I no longer truly have a party affiliation because both parties have become total crap over the years and we are left with a lesser of two evils situation, which is how I feel about trump and why I will be voting for him.
Donald Trump I trust him to do a better job for the middle and lower class then the Democrats. Trump is surrounding himself with great thinkers and leaders who used to be Democrats. My life has been significantly more financially stressful under Biden/Harris. Trump started 0 wars and would talk to world leaders. Diplomacy and peace is good and there is never a reason for war. For some reason the Democrats are now pro war and anti free speech. I also think the billions of dollars we are spending in Ukraine should be used to solve issues here at home and not be used to extend/escalate this conflict
Donald Trump I think that Donald Trump is not perfect but in a way he kept things in order, but right now with Biden the country is not doing well at all and there are many things that have gotten out of hand for the administration, it is in a way Worrying if we let Kamala Harris to be president
Robert F. Kennedy I think RFK has more family history and experience in politics compared to almost any other candidate. I think he would have the knowledge and experience necessary to be able to run the nation well. I do not particularly identify with democrats or republicans, so I would be curious to see how an independent leads things.
Jill Stein My vote wont matter but I would prefer something else besides red or blue. I think the Republican and Democrat parties no longer represent the American people, instead they work to make money for themselves and protect corporate interests. Jill Stein at least seems to be willing to try something new and isn’t corrupt.
Donald Trump He is a great businessman. He has no fear when it comes to talking to other countries he demands his respect and he knows facts and he gave us our stimulus being a president is not just being being a president means you have to be on business and he is always on his business
Donald Trump He appears to be the best. Our view on abortion is similar. Contrary to popular belief, he has helped people. He should be able to continue to do that. Overall, he is the better fit.
Donald Trump Donald Trump has conservative values and will not give in to the new, woke culture. I think that this country needs to go back to good, old-fashioned values that this country was built on. This country needs a leader who won’t back down to other leaders and will do what is best for Americans first and foremost.
Kamala Harris I think that she represents all of America more so than Trump. She’s accepting of minorities and discriminated against groups, where as the conservatives would like them to keep it all in private. I have to vote for humanity.
Kamala Harris I most likely would vote for Kamala Harris because she is the best of the options available. Everyone else especially Trump are criminals.
Robert F. Kennedy Robert F. Kennedy seems to me to be the most level-headed and pragmatic candidate with a strong knowledge of the innerworkings of the federal government and its many large institutions. Kennedy seems to most think and act with common sense and decency and appears to have strong knowledge across a wide range of different areas. He seems to have the best ability to stay on message and deliver concrete ideas and plans to address the many issues in the US.
Kamala Harris I feel that Harris represents more of my values compared to Trump. Having a president that supports LGBTQ rights as well as women’s autonomy is important to me. I am nervous though about her plans with the border, I do believe we need a securer border and we should also look towards the process it takes to become an American citizen and maybe find ways to update this process. I am also concerned about the economy, I hope Harris can pull through and come up with a plan to stabilize the economy and help ease some Americans financial burden.
Robert F. Kennedy Well, to put it simply, I do not support, nor want to vote for Trump or Harris. They’ve each had 4 years and nothing changed or got better in the US. I’d like to see an independent in office. I’m sick of partisan nonsense all the time.
Jill Stein Jill Stein is the candidate with the closest beliefs that I have and she is the only anti-genocide candidate on the list. She has a set of policies that benefit the working class like myself, and she has policies such as universal healthcare, a living wage, free college, and nationalizing utilities. She also is the only candidate with COVID19 policies on her platform. I’m also sick of the two party system that only works for the rich.
Kamala Harris She appears to be the least bad of the options. She is the least unhinged and seems remotely reasonable.
Kamala Harris This election is a very difficult one. None of the choices are ideal so in essence people are being forced to vote for who the feel is the least problematic choice. I would vote for Kamala because I feel she is less of a threat to Democracy in comparison to Donald Trump.
Kamala Harris I feel like I don’t want an atmosphere that we had when Trump was in office prior. I do like a lot of Trump’s policies, but I don’t feel we can fully trust him as I don’t see him as being honest. Harris is the only other option to consider. I don’t like her, but I feel we have been at peace the past 4 years with this administration.
Kamala Harris First, because I am a Democrat. Second, I do not think Donald Trump has any feasible, solid plans for the country and will not place qualified, experienced people in his administration. Lastly, I would like to participate in the election process for the first female president.
Donald Trump the truth is that during the four years of the Trump presidency, our country was doing better than it had since the Reagan years. Trump made peace between the two Korean nations, ending a 70-year simmer. He forged peace in the Middle East between Israel and the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan. Oh, for the days of mean tweets, $2.00 gasoline, economic prosperity, a secure border, and peace in the world. For all the talk about how popular Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are, the fact is that their agenda of war, crime, debt, and a crisis in confidence is as popular as getting punched in the stomach
Chase Oliver I want someone who is not a big part of the political machine. Someone with different ideas who can help unravel some of the red tape that hurts our budget and policies.
Donald Trump My wants for the country are more aligned with his campaign. I don’t trust Kamala and feel like her and Biden has led us down a terrible direction. She says that he’ll be bad for the economy but Biden is what screwed it up. We need someone in office not so focused on rights but on the actual economy and survival of the economy. Kamalas campaign is wrong and the entire way she climbed her way up is wrong
Kamala Harris Kamala does not condone in foolery when it comes to the lives of our American people. She identifies the struggle and turmoil in this country. She Is willing to fight for and support for those voice lost in the crowd. She gives me hope for a restorative future.
Donald Trump I’m not sure about any of the other candidates despite being not a big fan of trump really. I feel like Harris will steeer the country down the wrong path
Robert F. Kennedy I like that he is Independent. It seems the Democrats and Republicans are having a hard time doing anything positive for the people.
Kamala Harris her ideas/platform seem more well thought out compared to trump’s ideas. although trump’s idea of bring back full SALT deduction on federal income tax does intrigue me. i don’t know if he was just saying that to get votes and will not bring it up again if he gets elected.
Kamala Harris She is marginally preferable to Trump. I do not particularly like her or her policies, but I do not want another Trump presidency.
Donald Trump I think he’s what the country needs to be running it. I don’t think any of the candidates are the perfect fit, but he’s the lesser of the evils.
Kamala Harris I will vote for Kamala because my vote will matter most voting for either the Democratic party or the Republican party (rather than an independent) and I abhor Donald Trump so I really have no choice but to vote for Kamala Harris.
Donald Trump I would vote for Donald Trump because he is an American that understands what we go through everyday. He is very relatable to the everyday person and would look out for this country. I voted for President Trump in the previous election and unfortunately he was not elected. The presidency went to Joe Biden which I feel was not the right choice but we have to deal with the cards we are dealt unfortunately. I do feel that this time we will have the opportunity for a more fair election and President Trump can definitely encourage the people to vote more this time in November.
Donald Trump Because I am hopeful that he and republicans will be better re tax and economic policies along with immigration. However, his no taxes on tips, no ss taxes and removal of salt limits talk is making him sound more and more like a democrat. I don’t care for either candidate.
Robert F. Kennedy Because his platform best fits my worldview. Specifically, cleaning up our environment, getting corporate money out of our government, and ending the forever wars.
Donald Trump I think that He has a broad perspective on how to deal with the issues in this country. He has been president before so he has a familiarity with the aspects of how the government functions which gives him an advantage.
Donald Trump We share the same values and goals. He did so much for our economy during his last years as our president. Jobs, housing, gas prices, food prices and so much more. He really has the best interest for the American people and for us to all succeed.
Kamala Harris I don’t know much about the other candidates, but I personally think Trump is despicable. Taylor Swift has endorsed Harris. There isn’t really anyone I am positively passionate about, but I really just cannot stand Trump, and I am a supporter of democratic policies.
Kamala Harris I would vote for Kamala Harris because of her strong experience in government and her focus on justice and equality. She also represent important progress in breaking barrier for women and people of color in leadership.
Donald Trump i consider him to be the most effective leader among the options overall options. though i dont like his policies they are overall better than the others’ policies
Cornel West Just because of being independent I don’t want any of those kamala and Trump because president I don’t think either of them are capable
Kamala Harris Because I will never vote for Trump again. Kamala Harris seems like she has it all together and is an excellent speaker. Trump has always said ridiculous stuff and is a horrible leader and not a good fit for our country. He will divide the country even more.
Robert F. Kennedy his focus on issues like civil liberties, environmental sustainability, and a commitment to addressing corporate influence in politics. His message of unity and healing, especially in a polarized political climate, resonates with those seeking a fresh perspective. Additionally, his family legacy may attract voters who value his historical significance and dedication to public service.
Donald Trump I think that he will make and implement policies for the greater good of our nation. I am also willing to vote for him from a religious point of view. I think the USA has become somewhat of a demoralized society and no longer live by the founding rules or regulations. I think he will bring some of that back to the forefront.
Donald Trump He is a world leader willing and able to take on international conflict. He does not agree with migration policies such as an open boarder. He wants to allow gas cars, as electric cars do not allow for long distance transport without having to recharge often.
Kamala Harris Kamala Harris may not be my dream candidate, but she’s definitely a saner option than Trump. I’ll take ‘least of two evils’ over chaos any day.
Robert F. Kennedy I like him and what he stands for.I think he really cares about people and our country and he’s very smart.I don’t like Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.
Jill Stein Her platform is most aligned with my stance on important issues. The democratic party lost me a long time ago, and the republicans I have never cared for.
Donald Trump He is the better of the two major parties. It’s either going to be him or Kamala, realistically, so Trump is the better option. That is not to say I like him, but he is smarter, has more experience, and is not a female. Also Kamala has been caught in lies and word salads.
Donald Trump I think he will stop inflation and lower the prices of groceries with his policies that he has mentioned
Donald Trump His policies seem to be in support of America. He did good as president in his last term, so I can see him doing the same with this one but hopefully less animated. He says he will get inflation down and make everything more affordable again, increase security at the borders.
Kamala Harris There really are no decent candidates opposing her. I’m not really sure of her capabilities but there needs to be changes.
Donald Trump I would mainly vote for him because the economy. Everything is so expensive and he is a businessman so hopefully prices will come down and the job market would get better. The other reason is the border. There are so many issues right now with that. It’s insane how many people are coming in everyday illegally. But are not being vetted on criminal background etc. So many drugs are coming into the US and there is a huge fentanyl epidemic.
Robert F. Kennedy I would vote for this person because I do not like either “major” party candidate. This person seems to be a good middle of the road choice.
Donald Trump I am worried about our economy. As someone who leans left and is a registered Democrat I just can’t get behind a candidate who is making promises for the future but has neglected the present.
Kamala Harris She is the best among a bunch of terrible options. I wish the Republicans would nominate a Republican instead of a narcisistic criminal.
Donald Trump Even though I don’t personally like him or the way he comes across. I think that he’s a more stronger leader to lead. I like that he has his policies more laid out I am for some of them more border control and his layouts for controlling inflation. Although I don’t agree with some of the things they do I agree with what they have more than what the new policy would be under democrats. I think he is a more stronger leader whereas Democrats are seen as weak for the past 4 years.
Robert F. Kennedy I think the corruption in big pharma and the fda has long been overlooked. No candidates in recent times seem to care about this.
Kamala Harris I will vote for Kamala Harris because this seems like the best decisions. I don’t believe she is being truthful about the things she will do if elected, but Donald Trump is clearly extremely unfit to be our President.
Kamala Harris Although she is not a candidate I would’ve voted for during the primaries, she is the democratic nominee and a better option than the republican candidate
Kamala Harris Theres really only two main candidates as voting for anyone besides the two main ones is pointless. I can’t stand Trump and will never vote for him again. I do not like Kamala either, but she is slightly better than Trump.
Kamala Harris Only because Donald Trump is not the right fit. He would be a good leader if he wasn’t a hot head and goes off on people. He acts like an overgrown child at times.
Kamala Harris Best option for me. I wouldn’t say l love either but I think it is important to vote so that’s what I will be doing
Robert F. Kennedy Honestly when listening to him you can hear that he is genuine about the issues he talks about, and you can see that he is being blocked by certain groups, which makes you question why. I pretty much stand the same on most issues with him.
Donald Trump I support Trump’s foreign policy decisions for the most part, with the exception of his stance on abandoning NATO.
Kamala Harris I do not want to vote for Trump or for him to be president. That is the only reason I am voting for Harris.
Jill Stein I am very frustrated with the democratic party and their refusal to support progressive ideals. I want to send a message that I care about politics but they need to earn my vote by actually giving me some of the things that I want, like not supporting the genocide in Gaza.
Robert F. Kennedy Robert F Kennedy Junior to me is the only choice I would want to make when choosing a candidate for president. He actually has an agenda and wants to change how our food and health are handled. He looks at the big picture in regard to many things and I think he would be a huge asset to our country. He stands strong on immigration and climate change. However, for me the biggest and most important thing he supports is the health of our children. I strongly feel like he understands how the economy should work as well.
Donald Trump He promises better life quality and it is hard to trust Kamala as she seems like she doesn’t know what’s going on and just laughs.
Donald Trump I believe this country needs a change. Inflation is crazy and we need to bring the country back to how it was.
Jill Stein Jill’s policies, ethics, morals, and priorities align best with mine. Her promises of ending senseless wars, saving our planet from the climate crisis, and reparations for Black Americans are the top 3 reasons I plan to vote for her.
Kamala Harris i hate her as a prosecutor, but a literal piece of dog crap is better than T-rump. I WISH, WISH, WISH Tim Walz was presidential candidate
Kamala Harris It is time for change. She deserves to be given a chance just like we gave Donald Trump. If she does not help the economy, or deal well with all the issues that we are facing; then she will not be re-elected again.
Donald Trump To prevent Kamala Harris from being elected, and hence the furthering of social policies antithetical to my beliefs.
Kamala Harris There are only two candidates with a potential to win, and between those two candidates, I dislike her less than Donald Trump.
Robert F. Kennedy I feel like his views are decent. The two main figures do not seem like they’re the answers for this country. Not saying rfk is either but I feel we need to break away from what we have going now.
Cornel West I would vote for Cornel West because of his character, his principles, and his views on the issues that I think are most important such as ending poverty, combating oligarchy in the U.S. and his antiwar policies such as ending the American funded genocide in Gaza. Also his health care policies such as universal health care for all, and also ending the war on drugs and developing alternatives to mass incarceration.
Donald Trump He’s not the most fit candidate but in terms of the alternative Kamala Harris who is tremendously unfit to lead, I have to go with Trump.
Chase Oliver Of all the potential candidates he is the one I like the most. His policies are closest to what I want, not that it matters given Congress and all the bureaucratic issues in the US. I do not support Trump as a person and cannot vote for him. Same thing for Harris, so this is the least evil.
Kamala Harris She is experienced and aligns better with my personal values than any of the other candidates. Right now, I am more focused on social issues than financial in my voting so that is why I am opting for the democratic option.
Kamala Harris I’m most concerned about women’s rights and freedoms, and I am confident she will protect and uphold them.
Donald Trump Better candidate with more well known policies and beliefs. He talks about the major problems impacting myself and other Americans.
Donald Trump Everything in America sucks right now. The economy, wars, threats of nuclear war, crime, major cities turning into ruins. Kamala is currently in power and I partially blame her. Even though I don’t like Trump, I am willing to give him a chance to change things before America becomes a third world country.
Kamala Harris Least offensive candidate we have. Our current two party system is failing. The electoral college is a joke and no matter what we do this election cycle we won’t see the progress that was eroded restored for at least a decade maybe two.
Kamala Harris Donald Trump and the modern Republican party are an active threat to democracy so i have to do what i can to fight against them.
Kamala Harris Not Donald Trump, but not a huge fan of hers. I may also go 3rd party if I find a decent candidate out there, for now Harris would be the vote though.
Kamala Harris Despite my weak support for Harris, I think this candidate best aligns with my interests and beliefs.
Cornel West he is a man with deeply held principles espoused for decades that i firmly agree with. i believe in his vision for justice and equity across race and class in america.
Donald Trump I feel like Donald Trump while he’s not exactly the most morally stand up person I do believe he is the best person for the job of president because of the direction the country has gone in the last 4 years with Kamala Harris as vice president and Joe Biden as president. I feel like Kamala has had the ability to make a difference in the last 4 years and she has not really done so and the amount of migrants illegally streaming into the country and inflation is extremely alarming for me and it’s time for a change
Kamala Harris I’m not voting for her as much as I’m voting AGAINST the other candidate. I would vote for a 3rd-party candidate, but I’m not sure they would be viable, and I don’t want to split the votes.
Kamala Harris the lesser of two evils- i don’t like her or her stance on a lot of issues, but she is still way better than trump.
Donald Trump he is a man of his words. I looks to stop immigrants and create jobs. he will also give us tax cuts.
Donald Trump I believe he is unfortunately the better choice because right now politics is dominated primarily by social issues. This is mostly about power, and most of the talking points are insincere. For example, climate change. We cannot simply stop fossil fuels and switch to renewables, like turning off a light switch. Democrats often make blanket statements such as: “no more plastic bags in stores!” thus punishing the consumer. I prefer a candidate that is not driven by emotion.
Robert F. Kennedy To be honest I don’t really follow politics and I’m choosing someone who may or may not make a difference in this country. I’m sick and tired of having both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris breathing down my neck and would choose someone who does not have an agenda. It’s either Robert F. Kennedy or nobody at all for me.
Robert F. Kennedy I believe he is the best portrayal of a candidate we have running in the current race. i fell that his concern is genuine when it comes to challenging certain subjects. I t was a brave action for him to step out and run for candidacy.
Kamala Harris I don’t love her but I like her policies more than the Republican Party platform. I don’t like the democratic stance on gun rights but as far as things like worker’s rights and lgbt+ protections go, I will get much more out of the democratic platform.
Kamala Harris Not because I am big fan of hers, but because I am not interested in another 4 years of Trump. I am basically choosing a lesser of two evils as my leanings are more libertarian but third party candidates have no real chance to win in our current political duopoly.
Jill Stein I believe in a multi-party system and want to see the Green Party have a greater presence. However the state I live in is strongly Democrat and Harris is sure to get the vote. If I were in a swing state, I would vote for Harris. Also I would like to see a woman President.
Donald Trump I am voting against Kamala Harris - not voting for Trump. From what I have seen of Harris, she is fiscally irresponsible and does not understand the importance of a free market system as well as the importance of reducing the federal government size.
Donald Trump

I would vote for Donald Trump because my main concern is the border and all of the problems it is causing for Americans as well as the problems for the illegal migrants. Donald Trump is the only candidate who will address the multiple border issues. The Biden/Harris administration has permitted millions of people to illegally enter the United States without any effort to uphold our immigration and border laws until a recently signed executive order. If they were concerned about the border, they would have done something corrective 3.5 years ago. We now have dangerous, violent gang members here from Venezuela as well as dangerous (terrorists) from other countries as we have no idea who these people are who have arrogantly pushed their way across our borders from every country on earth. Biden and Harris lied telling us the borders have been closed.

People illegally entering our country via the southern border are now being financially supported by Americans. The money we are spending to support illegal migrants should be spent on helping fellow Americans in need of assistance with housing, education, job training, and healthcare. There are so many Americans in need of assistance, especially those living in our inner cities. Why aren’t we extending a hand out to them to improve their quality of life, and that of their children?

There are young illegal migrants and children who are being trafficked. Adult illegal migrants are now indebted to gangs who will hurt (or worse) their families in their own countries if the debt goes unpaid. How is this helping anyone?

I could continue to add to my reasons above, but in a nut shell, this is why I am voting for Donald Trump.
Chase Oliver While Chase Oliver is not my ideal candidate, we share many same important stances. I know that Oliver will not win, however I cannot give my vote to the democrat or republican candidates. Voting for Chase Oliver feels better than not voting at all or abstaining. Instead of choosing the lesser of 2 evils (republican or democrat) I am voting for the person who actually seems to care and shares most important stances with.
Kamala Harris It would be detrimental to elect Donald Trump into office. Despite disagreeing with some of her stances, she is much more competent and has a character I can stand by.
Kamala Harris Mainly because I do not want Trump to become president again and Project 2025 to become a reality. I honestly don’t think any of the candidates are the greatest of options and think she is the only option worth considering.
Kamala Harris I prefer her more than the other main candidate. I would look into the other candidates of the smaller parties, but am sure they will not be elected, so do not want to “spend” my vote that way. I would consider not voting also, but want to be more involved in elections. I need to do more research though, but as of now, would vote for Harris. I also want to see a woman president.
Donald Trump Because to me Donald Trump seems to be a man of his words and is not afraid to call it how he sees it as well as he is not afraid to admit when he is wrong.
Chase Oliver I actively follow the Libertarian party and it has my full support. Oliver is good on the mic and has charisma.
Donald Trump I really don’t like him as a person but I would vote for him because he is the lesser of “two evils”. I could not in good conscious, vote for anyone in the democratic party since they have ruined this great country of ours. When Trump was president before, he did some bad things but many good things for our country. Voting for the other candidates on this list would essentially “throw away” my vote so I have to vote for either democratic or republican.
Kamala Harris Because the other side is worse. Also she is younger and appears capable. I wish her well no matter what and the other side.
Donald Trump I think he will fix the inflation problem and get the countries economy into much much better shape.
Donald Trump I do not like either major party candidate much but I think the country and the world were doing better under Trump than we are doing now. I voted third party in the past but I dont want to this election. I can not unsee the bias in the media and how much the large corporations and media is pushing for Harris and covering for her in ways like ignoring the fact that she doesnt do press conferences or the bias in how and what is fact checked.
Robert F. Kennedy He is a better alternative than the two main candidates. I have a theory if you hate how candidates run vote for who you hate the least.
Kamala Harris Realistically there’s only two candidates who can win, Kamala or Trump. I don’t want Trump to win because I fear what he might attempt to do in office given everything he’s been put through. Therefore, that only leaves Kamala, regardless of how I feel or not, she’s not perfect either but I do think she’s a better choice than Trump.
Kamala Harris I find her demeanor to be more level and less inflammatory, which is something I believe to be necessary for a world leader. I find her politics to be okay. I don’t fully agree with her agenda but I believe it is at least more put-together than Trump’s agenda. I believe she is looking to help the middle class in the long-term.
Kamala Harris It’s the only way to prevent the Republican candidate from winning. Need to focus on the best chance of getting it done. We can sort everything else out afterwards.
Donald Trump Purely based on where we are with the economy right now. Kamala has no experience and her plan she has laid forth won’t work in my opinion.
Donald Trump I have always been registered as a Democrat and have voted Democrat for many years, but the current situation in the country made me change.
Donald Trump When he was in office, even during a global pandemic, Americans were still able to afford groceries and survive. The Biden administration has not done us any favors. More and more Americans struggle to even put food on the table these days. I don’t think bringing someone back in from this same administration that has hurt us so badly is a good idea.
Chase Oliver The two party system has been a disaster for our nation. We need more options. In addition, he is intellectually consistent about his beliefs, even when supporters on one or the other side of the aisle may disagree with them.
Kamala Harris Between the two major candidates, Kamala Harris is the one who is closer to me on every of my preferred policies. I also think Donald Trump shouldn’t be allowed near any lever of power, as he’d be a massive set back to social rights, environmentalism, and union power, among other things.
Donald Trump I’ll vote for Trump because everything was much better when he was president and if it came down to war, he would be the better person.
Robert F. Kennedy I’ve been unhappy with both the Democrat and Republican parties for a long time. I’m not sure that a Kennedy would be any different but, for the most part, his proposed policies are ones that I agree with.
Jill Stein I vote for Jill Stein because of her stance on ending the genocide being committed by Israel. Zionism is an embarrassment to humanity and Stein would take measures to not allow Israel to murder more civilians.
Kamala Harris She seems the lesser of two evils. Biden wasn’t a very good president for the economy and inflation and didn’t help the American people very much. I think Kamala will do her best to help inflation. I wouldn’t vote for Donald Trump because he just sows seeds of dissention and wants Americans to fight against each other instead of unite for the common good.
Chase Oliver I think a third party needs needs to break through and disrupt our current two party system. While not really knowing anything about Oliver, my political views do tend to lean towards classic libertarian views
Kamala Harris She is better than Trump. DT is a terrible leader and is damaging to the US in every way. He is prone to creating disorder and unrest due to his rhetoric. He creates instability in the geopolitical order by aligning with countries and leaders with dictatorships while alienating US allies.
Kamala Harris Because her views align with my own. She cares about the people of America and has good plans in mind.
Donald Trump I prefer to vote for the Republican party because they usually have better Presidents. I hoping he will be a stronger leader for America
Donald Trump I would vote for Trump because he has listed a solid list of policies and has shown a track record of the economy being improved under his presidency compared to the current presidency we have.
Chase Oliver I am a Libertarian and while Oliver has been the most controversial candidate in the party due to his personal behavior towards left wing social policies, he still believes in the core tenants of freedom of the party that Trump and Harris do not.
Robert F. Kennedy He is running outside of the two-party system. Third party candidates cannot win the presidency but we can win influence and representation in government.
Kamala Harris It’s less a vote for her and more a vote against Donald Trump. I think she will implement significant changes to abortion care and labor rights. I think she won’t escalate international tensions into another war.
Kamala Harris because she is a better choice than trump and most importantly she seems to care about immigrants. She is also a women and she will probably care more to do the right thing since she will be the first to be president being a woman.
Kamala Harris I would vote for Kamala Harris because the Democratic policies seem most rational to me and align with my personal views.
Jill Stein To be honest I’m just scared to vote for trump and I dislike Kamala. I was going to vote for RFK, but he dropped out of the race. I haven’t if the other candidates, but I’ve heard some good things about Jill Stein.
Donald Trump Because the democrats messed up immigration. Biden opened the borders to a lot of criminal aliens and now they are destroying the safety of the citizens across the United States
Donald Trump I like the plan he has for the country. He speaks what we need to hear. I think he has strong opinions and maybe not everyone agrees but they are things we should all hear.
Donald Trump I would vote for Donald Trump because I feel like he is the lesser of two evils and seems to have more passion towards American than Kamala
Kamala Harris I don’t want Trump for president and i consider myself democratic leaning. However, I am also not registered to vote but I don’t want women’s rights to be continually stripped
Kamala Harris Because she isn’t Donald Trump. I view him as a terrible leader and a very divisive person. I want a new person even if I don’t love Kamala
Kamala Harris She is the best of a bad bunch. Would rather her than Trump. We all know its really just between the two.
Donald Trump i feel we need to see a new government different from the former. it looks bad lately. The state of the U.S. economy is not strong and inflation remaining elevated. The economy is expanding at a crisp pace, the labor market is loosening slightly and inflation is increasing from its peak
Robert F. Kennedy He is the candidate that best represents me and my interests. I feel like he is the only one running who actually wants to make a positive change, rather than just yelling about how bad the other side is. He supports individual freedoms and ending ceaseless wars. He wants to focus on fixing problems here rather than sending money abroad. I have faith in him to lead the country, unlike the poor skills demonstrated by Trump and Harris during their time in office.
Robert F. Kennedy Robert F. Kennedy Jr. seems to be the least compromised and least dishonest of all of the candidates. I loved his father and would hope he learned enough from him to become a good leader.
Donald Trump He is the best option we have right now for president. Kamala is a horrible option, and RFK has endorsed Trump. RFK would be the only other person I’d consider, but I have been following all of this for some time and know that Trump is the best option overall. I believe he will get us out wars and will also help our economy. Kamala is just more of the same and even worse than what we’ve seen in recent years.
Donald Trump I slightly lean a little bit towards the Republican party in their issues on politics and economics. My main reasoning for voting for Trump is because of his firm stance on border protection and immigration. As someone who is also an immigrant, it is only fair to us for everyone to follow a standard procedure. Another reason would be hopefully he can decrease our inflation rates and makes things more affordable. The economy is tough right now and my budget for everything is extremely tight.
Donald Trump I am voting for the platform not the man. I am voting for the direction I believe is best for this country.
Donald Trump HONESTLY, IM STILL A BIT UNDECIDED. I DON’T THINK THERE IS A VERY GOOD OPTION NO MATTER WHICH WAY YOU GO.
Donald Trump I want to vote for Trump because I don’t trust Kamala Harris at all. To be frank, I trust neither, but I trust Harris less because Trump is honest about his intentions of radically remodeling the nation according to his self interest.
Kamala Harris She will help to balance the supreme court. She seems more progressive than the average democratic candidate. While I am not satisfied with a lot of her positions, and while I do not completely trust that she is being transparent with her stances, I am hopefully that she will allow for more progressive candidates to have national relevance. I really like her VP pick in Tim waltz and I hope that more candidates like him will emerge. My main concern is that she is going to be identical to the Biden administration, who I have very mixed feelings on.
Donald Trump He is the better man for the job, he is an businessman and an economist he will get our economy on the right track
Kamala Harris Although she isn’t my ideal candidate, I simply can’t bring myself to vote for Trump. I believe she’ll cause slightly less harm to the situation in Palestine compared to Trump. My main concern is how Trump might handle both the country and the broader Middle East conflicts. That’s why I’m choosing to vote for her. I also feel strongly about abortion rights, and Trump’s stance is against them. While I do support Trump in many areas, my gut tells me he is too closely aligned with Israel and AIPAC, which makes me hesitant to support him.
Kamala Harris Kamala Harris has better temperament than Donald Trump. She is strong in some areas and weaker in others. For instance, her economic policies are weak. However, her overall impact on the world and America probably will be overall more positive than Trump.
Kamala Harris The concerns that I have around Donald Trump being the republican nominee feel too great to ignore. I don’t think any other candidate has a legitimate shot of beating him.
Donald Trump I dont really like trump, but democrats are insufferable. 1st they try to jail him just in time for the election. Then they switch their candidate because Joe wasnt going to win. Harris is talking about all this new stuff she will do, when she had 3 1/2 years to do them. Democrats will say what will get them elected and then flip flop.
Jill Stein The only one who stands for the policies I think are important. Not a warmonger starting and continuing more wars.
Donald Trump Mostly for economic reasons as there’s no doubt in my mind that the country would be better off economically if he were elected. Also, electing “Harris” is about the same as electing “Biden” for 4 more years and “their” administration has been a complete disaster.
Donald Trump I am interested in voting for someone who stands for freedom in our country. I do not want Kamala who plans to crease taxes
Donald Trump He will do better in the with the economy. His personality other than his jokes suck but he would be the better choice by far. Harris will say anything to get votes then have other go out and say don’t worry it won’t actually happen. ( mark cubin)
Robert F. Kennedy I don’t believe in the non independent candidates. They leave alot to be desired and I do not see a favorable outcome in either situation
Kamala Harris

After hearing plenty of his speeches at rallies and the debates, I feel that Donald Trump is dangerous to our country given his false rhetorics and his temperament. He takes no accountability for his actions and continues to lie and criticize over things that are not relevant. He has not been coherent and chooses to ramble about nonsense. Furthermore, I feel that his policies are also not viable for the average person, that they are more or less to benefit the wealthy. He has not provided much information about how he plans to solve problems, such as the border crisis that he rambles about. His previous plans did not work and he set up the current administration to fail - seeing as he handed them a poor economy, prevented border bills from passing, mishandled COVID, made the agreement to withdraw from Afghanistan and release Taliban prisoners, prides himself over the overturning of Roe V. Wade, removed clauses preventing mentally ill individuals from owning a gun, slashed funding for the FDA, and wants to gut the affordable care act. He offers bo future plans, simply concepts. He denied his involvement with project 25, though his running mate wrote part of it and those of his administration put them forward. I understand if he doesn’t back it, but I also do not want someone who pretends to be oblivious of it and doesn’t address it at all. Some of the policies listed are already happening, just not on a federal level. His concepts of plans are dangerous. I feel that we cannot even have a discussion of how to move forward because he is stuck in his own ways and refuses to listen to anyone else. It seems with Trump, we will have a mixed bag of plans and we are not sure what we are going to get. He is too volatile to consider as a proper candidate. I also do not think his impeachments and felony convictions are a good look or example for the country. To add, I believe he has also broken the law a few other times via the Logan Act by speaking to other leaders such as Netanyahu, which he his not authorized to have conversations with regarding the war.

Conversely, I have also listened to Kamala speak at rallies as well as watched the debate. I feel that we are able to have better discussions to and work on changing the course of the country for better. While I do not agree with all of her policies, I feel that she has established policies that will benefit the middle and lower class. She seems to listen about some of our major concerns and has plans on how to work with them, including a child tax credit for the first year of the baby’s life, a tax credit to first time homebuyers, pushing for renewable energy resources (and not forcing or punishing those who do not comply), plans to work on ending the Russia and Ukraine wars, end the filibuster to bring back Roe. V. Wade, support access to IVF, remove taxes for tips, cut taxes for the middle class and raise taxes for the wealthy, lower renting and housing costs, end price gouging, invest in small businesses and offer tax credits to startups, and strengthen and lower healthcare costs. Furthermore, I know that she doesn’t want to ban fracking as many say, nor does she want to take guns take guns, though I want to hear if she does have a plan to get the shootings under control. While these are simply just a few of the plans she has mentioned, she seems to have coherent and viable plans compared to her opponent overall.
Kamala Harris It’s the least terrible option. There is nothing more to say about it. She isn’t great but every other option is worse.
Chase Oliver Because the other two main candidates are morons. I also closely related to the libertarian party the most.
Donald Trump Life was better during Trump’s first term. Things were cheaper, there were fewer wars, the border was much more controlled. I think most Americans would agree that prices are out of control right now and it’s not sustainable. The wars in Ukraine and Palestine have been going on for far too long and under Trump we had nothing like that. Illegal immigration is a serious problem and the southern border is wide open which will have lasting consequences. Most illegal immigrants have no intention of assimilating and we don’t have infinite resources to deal with the mass amount of people coming here. I think Trump is the better candidate by far as evidenced by his previous term compared to Harris’s current role in the Biden administration which has been a disaster.
Kamala Harris It is due to the two party system that is in place. Voting for a third party will have no impact and be wasted. Between Trump and Harris, I would vote Harris because Trump is insane and I would not vote for a criminal.
Kamala Harris I consider myself a conservative democrat . Overall , I support Democratic fiscal policy that benefits the working class and poor .
Cornel West I feel I will vote for Cornel west because he seems to me the best candidate for the job compare to everyone else
Kamala Harris It’s time for change and we need to see hope brought back to our country. She will be turning the page and moving us in a New direction, that I think we need to go in.
Kamala Harris Donald trump sowed chaos and division regardless of policies. We need a leader, not someone interested in themselves.
Kamala Harris Because I really think it’ll come down to Harris and trump and trumps policies are rooted in racism and incompetence
Donald Trump Because I’m sick of the cynical anti-politics of the Democratic party. They need to lose and lose bad and rebuild the party on actual policies, not on tik tok memes and mainstream media propaganda. That might sound extreme, but I personally don’t think Trump did anything to harm the US in his first term. We are a two party system, and it’s unacceptable that one party, my party, the party I traditionally support, is just a clickbait farm at this point.
Kamala Harris I feel more comfortable with her overall stance on the issues in Ukraine and tax plans. I tend to be a repulbican, but I find Donald Trump too difficult to trust.
Donald Trump He was president before and he has no fear going against the machine or system. He seems the better option instead of Harris as well.
Kamala Harris Trump is a convicted felon and should not be in office. His policies are outdated for our current society
Donald Trump Additionally, I admire his outsider status and view him as someone who challenges the political establishment. Ultimately, each voter’s reasons will be shaped by their personal beliefs and priorities.
Donald Trump Because he’s the lesser of two evils. He has is slightly closer than the other main candidate on moral issues that are important to me, and much closer on economic and foreign policy.
Donald Trump Trump demands more respect internationally and thus will be more likely to end any wars the United States is involved in. Trump is strict on the border which will be great for my family living in the border and for the nation as a whole. Trump has a much better plan for the economy and is likely to not waste money on energy initiatives the United States isn’t ready for. Trump is also much more open and has participated in many interviews as opposed to Kamala and has been transparent in his policies. With the endorsement from RFK Jr, I believe he could have a great administration.
Kamala Harris because I don’t want Trump again… she isn’t him and no one else has a chance of winning besides her.
Chase Oliver I am a libertarian and have always voted for Libertarian presidential candidates. I believe in small, limited government that promotes individual freedom.
Kamala Harris Of all the candidates, I think Harris is the candidate best prepared to lead the country on the domestic and international fronts.
Jill Stein She is the only candidate that is not pro-genocide and wants a complete ceasefire and end of occupation in Palestine.
Donald Trump My preferred Libertarian candidate has no shot at winning. I believe Harris will do irreparable damage to our economy. Trump probably also will, but probably less.
Donald Trump He seems to be the better choice than Kamala. I like Kennedy but there’s no way he would get enough votes to win so I would vote for Trump. I think he would help us more than Harris. Although I don’t think he should be able to be President of the United States because he is a felon who am I to say?
Robert F. Kennedy he was an environmental lawyer and i think his opinions on health care and vaccines are interesting. i do not like the other candidates.
Kamala Harris Trump is literally the worst, so Kamala is the only other option. I would rather vote for Jill Stein, but America is a two party system at this point.
Kamala Harris Better outlook on the United States, more focused on the future instead of going after grudges like Trump.
Kamala Harris Just the lesser of two evils. I don’t really care for any sort of politics but this is likely the best choice for me. She is well-spoken and actually makes tangible plans.
Kamala Harris It’s less that I am voting for Kamala Harris and more that I am voting against Donald Trump. There is not a politician in the race that espouses my political views, but Kamala is the one most likely to defeat Trump.
Donald Trump Honestly, none of the candidates this term really caught my attention in terms of policies and beliefs. However, at least with Trump, I have an idea of “what I’m getting myself into” in terms of presidency. I don’t based my decisions on whether or not I like or dislike a person or if they align with a certain party of not. Rather I make a decision based on what I expect is objectively the best choice.
Donald Trump I think he is the less evil of the choices that we have as Americans. I think he will be better on certain issues that Harris. He is the best choice to make American stronger again. We will become weaker on the world stage with Harris
Donald Trump I wanted to vote for RFK but then he joined up with Donald. Donald Trump represents more of my views than Harris, despite both being war mongering corporate whores.
Kamala Harris She is a better candidate than Donald Trump. She will push back against abortion restrictions and help retain women’s rights. Above all, she does not make me fear for the future of our country the way that I would fear if Donald Trump came into office.
Kamala Harris I’d vote for her primarily because it would be a vote against Donald Trump. But also because I tend to line up with Democrat policies a lot more often.
Kamala Harris Kamala Harris seems a little more sane and respectable compared to Donald Trump. I don’t totally align with her politically but I can tell she is a good person who cares about people. Trump has given me the vibes that he’s only in it for himself, his ego, and his rich friends.
Kamala Harris She’s the better option than picking Donald Trump. Also, she isn’t facing any criminal charges. She’s just an overall better pick to run out country.
Jill Stein I am voting for Claudia de la Cruz, but she was not an option. I have voted for Jill Stein in the past. She is anti-genocide. No other candidates on your list are.
Donald Trump I think the cost of living has been too high under the democratic party as well as their values no longer align with mine. They have gone too radical and while Trump isnt a great option, I feel like he would return the economy to a better state than its at currently.
Robert F. Kennedy I like independent candidates, even though I know he would not win I would still vote for them because I do not like Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.
Robert F. Kennedy I live in a state where the vote will not be close, so who I vote for doesn’t really matter. I like that Kennedy is a challenge to the establishment, and does not follow the status quo. Therefore he will not be beholden to any special interests. He will be a legitimate independent voice in Washington.
Kamala Harris I feel like in our political system a Republican or Democrat wins, and I refuse to vote for Donald Trump voting for anyone else I feel my vote would not matter
Donald Trump I’ll vote for trump because he’s not a career politician. I also agree with Trump’s policies more than Harris’. Trump is personally a scumbag, but at least you can tell that. Who knows what Harris is, she says only what she thinks will get her elected. That’s why she flip flops on her positions. I prefer the known commodity.
Donald Trump I think that he most likely is going to benefit the economy more than Harris would. I don’t necessarily like Trump and there are a lot of downsides to him, but in terms of keeping money in our pockets and stopping the crazy inflation, I think he has a better chance to make a difference.
Donald Trump He fight back against the media when they are all against him and also because he is very strong and tough.
Donald Trump I don’t want to vote for Donald Trump but I can’t take 4 more years of Harris. Life is so expensive, the world is at odds with each other, the border is not protected. We can’t continue the way things have been going.
Kamala Harris because I like the policies she is presenting although I have some doubts whether she can handle the country’s problems.
Donald Trump Because he’s got a better shot of keeping taxes low and righting the economy. As a rule I think Kamala will be worse for our economy.
Donald Trump He’s blunt and upfront about what he wants to do and how he’s going to do it, sure he might not be the best but I’d rather a transparent president than not.
Donald Trump He is the best candidate who will bring back an America First policy. We were energy independent and had tighter border control under his watch.
Kamala Harris She will give us all free stuff, like money for a house, free utilities, free food, free phones and internet, reparations, paid off student loans that we can take but not actually go to school, and free healthcare. She will give us free guns, since she has one and wants to shoot someone. She will stick it to the rich to pay for all of this. We are standing in line already with our hands out!! Woohoo!!!!!!!
Kamala Harris I will vote for Kamala because even though she is not as liberal as everyone says she is, being harder on immigration and crime in particular, she still is our best bet to defeat Donald Trump in the election. I will take the lesser of two evils.
Kamala Harris Just to change the scope of what presidency could look like rather than the pushed image that’s normalized
Kamala Harris I will vote for Kamala because I believe that she will be the easier of our two bad choices to organize, and ultimately survive, against for the majority of Americans. I will do so begrudgingly, and I still wish that our electoral system was not so archaic.
Donald Trump I feel that he did good things while in term last. Kamala says she will fix the country if elected. She’s had 4 years already and has done nothing to fix the country.
Donald Trump His efforts to push America forward through many of his initiatives and his personal demeanor towards most problems especially concerning those of external relations.
Kamala Harris She is the lesser of two evils. At least she doesn’t want to strip away more of woman’s basic rights and implement some form of control.
Kamala Harris Done with Trump. Don’t believe him, trust him, or feel that he is even remotely interested in protecting anyone but himself. He is divisive, impulsive, and a bad influence for our country.
Donald Trump He is the best of the candidates to handle a war if it happens. He is also the best to handle the issues with the economy.
Kamala Harris Not comfortable with Trump being president again so she is the only viable choice. I would have voted for Kennedy, but he is out of the race
Jill Stein Because she is the only candidate who has said she would actually do something about the genocide and would do an arms embargo. Every other candidate either actively endorses the genocide or is basically having a “thoughts and prayers” approach while still giving guns to Israel.
Cornel West I know he probably won’t win but even still I think he has a brighter vision for this country than all of the other candidates, I believe he has a great deal of empathy for his fellow man and I think that’s enough to inspire confidence in his leadership capabilities. I also think his perspective and his brand of politics is unlike any other candidate presented here, he would steer us in a different direction rather beyond the stale Liberal-Conservative or Democrat-Republican dichotomy we have today as he’s a real authentic socialist running for president, that is something this country hasn’t seen since the time of Eugene Debs.
Robert F. Kennedy I do not feel favorably towards the two other main candidates from the major parties, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. I feel I have a moderate political ideology and do not consider myself either a Republican or a Democrat. I think I most lean toward being considered an Independent, and feel my beliefs would be most closely aligned to those of Robert F. Kennedy compared to the other main candidates.
Kamala Harris Compared to the other options, she seems to be the best option if we want America to stay a democracy. She was said that she will advocate for minorities. Because there is a biparty system, only Trump or Harris will win, and if Trump were to win, I think he would increase white supremacy and radicalized behaviors.
Kamala Harris I think she’s the ‘lesser evil’ of all candidates. I’m also intrigued in how she’ll address reproductive topics
Robert F. Kennedy Despite his suspension of his campaign and endorsement of Trump, I don’t want my future grandchildren to know that I marked Donald Trump on a ballot. I will NEVER vote for Kamala Harris. She is evil compared to Trump. Additionally, Kennedy actually seemed sincere about wanting to make sure clean air and water and food and other products being free of harmful chemicals was a basic right for Americans, not a luxury they have to buy at higher prices from smaller specialty companies.
Jill Stein She cares about the people and improving the economy for everyday citizens and not just the corporate sector. She cares about green initiatives to help save the planet, she is also a fan of less foreign military involvement
Donald Trump Because he spoke about true facts during the debate noone wants to believe for example abortions being allowed full time- he mentioned the VA governor allowing it and it is true I saw the video of the VA governor speaking about it
Donald Trump Between him and Harris He has more policies that I agree with. Right now our enemies don’t fear us and they should. We need to stop appearing weak and start looking out for our interests around the globe.
Donald Trump because i believe that my personal financial situation is better under a republican administration than a democratic
Donald Trump better to be on top and working for you than to be used by others. Doing the right things for you is good
Kamala Harris I don’t like any of the candidates, but out of all of the candidates, her values align with mine the most.
Donald Trump To me it really don’t matter who the president is. As he has been president before I feel that given another chance in office that he would do good.
Donald Trump I consider myself an Independent, but I always lean toward the Conservative Party. Honestly, I am not a fan of Trump or Harris. However, I do not agree with many of the Democrat ideologies. At least Trump is business-minded. It’s just a lesser of two evils type of situation for me.
Donald Trump I think will be the best person for job he will do good on immigration and crime in our American cities
Kamala Harris I am a registered Democrat for starters, and the last few Republican presidencies have brought turmoil and worse. She is young and represents at least a bit of youthful spirit in comparison to Trump.
Kamala Harris I would vote for Kamala Harris because she is one of the better choices than Trump with the most likelihood to be elected.
Donald Trump Honestly I do not know why, I just think he is better than kamala because she has not done much while being vice president.
Kamala Harris It is less threatening to have the leader of the free world not hell bent on it’s own destruction in getting rid of all the ties to the international community
Robert F. Kennedy He knows what addiction is and how treatment centers should be. Robert F Kennedy knows more about being middle class.
Robert F. Kennedy I want to vote for someone on the Independent ticket. The divide between left and right wing politics has grown too wide, and I want someone who is more central.
Jill Stein I think there needs to be some change, our current two party system is too bloated. It feels like we’re voting for two sides of the same coin.
Kamala Harris Kamala Harris has better immigration ideals.I believe that Kamala will benefit the immigrant population the most.
Kamala Harris I will vote for Kamala because she wants to cut taxes for the middle class, Make rent more affordable, help with the climate crisis and most important in my opinion is making communities and schools safer from gun violence with her stance on gun control. I consider my daughter and her future greatly when deciding who I want to vote for. I want to stop project 2025 from possibly happening, and make sure my daughter is as safe as possible.
Donald Trump I work many hours of overtime for my job. Trump’s claim to remove taxes on overtime income would greatly benefit myself and my family as I make less than $20 an hour. I have seen crime increases in my area and many of the arrests are of illegal immigrants that have crossed the border illegally. I would like to see that resolved. I understand that there are many problems to deal with in our country and a lot of division as well. As a person, I do not like Donald Trump. After almost four years of Kamala Harris being vice president, I can not remember a single thing she has been in the news for doing that has bettered me or my family. If she had, I would be willing to vote for her. Prices on gasoline were much cheaper for me back when Trump was last in office as well.
Kamala Harris I will vote for her purely for the fact that she isn’t Donald Trump. I know practically nothing about her policies or where she stands on issues. I just know I don’t want to waste my vote by voting 3rd party and she’s the only one that even has a chance of beating Trump.
Donald Trump I don’t currently trust Kamala Harris or her record as Vice President, or before. She does a lot of pandering while focusing on, in my opinion, the wrong issues. I care far less about “reproductive rights” than I do about our abysmal economy when the poor and middle class are suffering exponentially due to Biden Administration policies that she helped promote. She claims to have the answers to make things better, but is part of what is currently wrong right now, and won’t accept any responsibility for it. Donald Trump is problematic and I don’t agree many of his policies. In fact, I voted for Hillary Clinton and protested his win in 2016. However, I can say, in hindsight, that my family and many others I have talked to were flourishing under his leadership. Yes, it was pre/early-Covid. Still, the policies he put in place worked even if the media and people I looked up to wanted to deny it. I would much rather vote for Robert Kennedy Jr, whose politics reflect my own more closely, but I don’t believe that in the current climate of hyper-polarity that a third party is viable.
Kamala Harris I feel like she would be the most non crazy candidate. She seems like your standard democrat and I have heard good things about her vice president. So overall she seems like the safest pick.
Donald Trump First of all I acknowledge I am rather biased at the moment because I recently watched many different videos and documentaries on illegal immigrants crossing the border. Being an immigrant myself that waited many years for my greencard to be approved before moving to the US, and many of my clients at work are on their EB-5 waiting list for years and years, I felt angered that the country could simply allow people to just walk into the country and provide benefits backed up tax payer money. Because of that, I’d prefer a president with better border control, and I’m under the impression that Donald’s attitude would be better.
Donald Trump I don’t trust Kamala and so it seems that Trump is the only other choice that I would have unfortunately. It seems the lesser of two evils
Robert F. Kennedy I would prefer to vote for a third party candidate, because the separation of this country is ridiculous. He has a history in being around politics and he had very respectable people in his family. He seems like a normal guy and he seems like he’d do good things.
Kamala Harris She has the best chances of preventing Donald Trump from being elected as president. Although I live in a predominantly red state, I’d like to still exercise my right to vote.
Kamala Harris I will vote for Kamala Harris because she is stable and not radical. Although I like some Trump’s stances, I don’t not like the way that he is unhinged and unpredictable. I don’t believe Trump is capable of leading our country any longer.
Jill Stein Anti-genocide, would more likely vote for Claudia De La Cruz. If Stein, to attempt to bring federal funding for Green party next cycle.
Kamala Harris I feel like I am trying to pick the lesser of 2 evils, and I honestly don’t want to handle another 4 years of Trump in office saying uninformed things.
Donald Trump I think Donald Trump is the best candidate and He is responsible for our betterment. His vision and mission is clear to the common people and we are willing to participate in every steps that he takes to make the nation a better place.
Donald Trump I want someone who would be more strict on laws against crimes. Kamala is too much of a radical left and while it’s good for certain issues like abortion, it is bad for everyone else right now.
Jill Stein Seems like the most practical choice . I DO NOT want to vote for the same Administration again I refuse to support Kamala because the vitamin Administration to me has done a lot of damage to the nation and I hate how they handle the war in Israel and Palestine. I also dislike how they mandated and forced vaccination
Kamala Harris Morals do not not align with Trump. He also has policies I am against while also confirming he is unfit to be our president by time and time again bringing others down instead of trying to lift the country up.
Kamala Harris Because she seems like the best choice to make sound decisions to put our country on the right track to economic stability
Donald Trump I believe he is the lesser of the two evils between him and Kamala Harris. Regardless of who wins, we are liv8ng in some critical times.
Kamala Harris Because the threat of Donald Trump being elected President again is too great. I wish the Democratic candidate was different but it’s not and Harris has the best shot of winning out of candidates who are not Donald Trump.
Donald Trump I would vote for Donald Trump because I feel like everything went downhill after his initial term. I feel like things could get back to normal if reelected.
Donald Trump I have heard on and off things how he will make a change but I also heard that Harris will do the same. I think both may or may not make a world change, but I voted for Trump in the past and will vote again this election
Kamala Harris Ms. Harris is the most fit candidate for the Job in my opinion. I support most of her policies and her economic plan.
Donald Trump Because he’s definitely the lesser of two evils. There’s no way I would vote for Kamala. At least we’ve seen the impact that Donald Trump would have in office. Kamala is a nightmare.
Donald Trump I am very afraid of Kamala Harris because she seems like a Marxist and a wealth redistributor. Also, she is proposing the largest tax increases in history.
Donald Trump Because voting for Kamala after what she and Biden did to this country (and other countries) makes no sense. America is down the toilet now, so why would we vote the same people in for another 4 years? Unless we really want WW3.
Kamala Harris I do not agree with Trump’s policies, and also have reservations about Kamala, and will do the “lesser of two evil” vote. I think RFK jr is nuts, and the other candidates don’t really have a chance. If Kamala hadn’t supported Israel so much during this administration, I’d be more supportive of her.
Kamala Harris During Joe Biden’s presidency, his cabinet displayed the exact things I wanted to see. The cabinet almost did nothing and it was perfect. There were no dramatics or anything of the sort like that. But instead it was peaceful and they did almost everything I agreed with.
Donald Trump I think if Kamala was going to do anything good for the country, she should have proved that over the past 4 years. She has continuously been proven to back track on her stances or straight up lie in order to appeal to certain demographics. I would love a woman president but putting a lousy candidate in strictly based on gender is a mistake and will be detrimental for all women with political aspirations in the future. Donald Trump is not he best human, there is no denying that. But I strongly believe he will help improve the economy and that is extremely important for everyone right now
Kamala Harris I am afraid of Trump and feel that Harris would be interesting as a leader. Also cool to have a female leader for once, instead of a male leader.
Donald Trump I would normally not vote for Donald Trump, but I can’t stand Harris. She has no experience or real accomplishments and is a phony. So I’m left with no choice but to vote for Trump.
Robert F. Kennedy I believe he has the integrity to get America back on track to the great nation we used to be. Both the republican and democrat candidates are not, in my opinion going to do what we need now moving into the future. If Robert is really running as an independent than I now have more faith in the future of this country than I have in a number of years.
Cornel West Of all the available candidates, I dislike Cornel West the least. There are a lot of issues that he plans to address that I personally agree with, and he doesn’t seem as hypocritical as the other candidates. Unfortunately, he’d be unlikely to win, but that doesn’t change the fact that I would vote for him.
Jill Stein an independent woman candidate. Who seems different than the other candidates. And it will be a change of pace.
Kamala Harris Kamala share the best policies for this country. She is a personality that has worked with the current president and has gain experience through the hard work she showed. She deserve to be in power.
Kamala Harris I think she can be a good leader. I love her policies and what she represents. Her manifesto looks promising too.
Donald Trump I now what to expect with Donald Trump. I don’t agree with everything he says or supports, but I feel he has my best interest in mind. Kamala does not have my trust, and I simply don’t think she is presidential material. She’s intelligent, but not very political.
Kamala Harris I will not vote for a racist criminal who actively enacts policies that restrict and remove the rights of women and members of the LGBT+ community, of which I am both.
Kamala Harris She’s the lesser of two evils. I strongly disagree with a lot of Harris’s economic policies, but she’s better than a convicted criminal. Apart from international instability that might follow from Trump’s foreign-policy approaches, and apart from election denial and transition-of-power concerns, I’m even more concerned about pro-inflationary policies. We need to wrangle that deficit and the national debt better.
Donald Trump I feel the Dems right now are so infatuated with this green energy movement and not securing the borders that it’s crippling the working class, and they don’t seem to care what the common citizen is going through! We could be an exporter of oil and make China work for us and strengthen our own economy instead of making them strong at our expense.
Robert F. Kennedy I like what he stands forand some of the things he is thinking of doing for this country. He’s got good idea
Robert F. Kennedy I believe Robert F. Kennedy gives the United States its best chance at re-establishing itself as a model nation for democracy and freedom. His anti-war and anti-corruption stances make him atypical to the modern day politician and resemble the traditional Democrat that his father and uncle were. Furthermore, he is clearly well versed in economic reform, chronic health, and other important political issues. Lastly, he has committed to appointing a diverse cabinet, allowing for all voices in the political spectrum to be heard, rather than a one-party cabinet.
Donald Trump He was already president so I know what I can excpect. He has already a lot of experience in business field. I like better his position on economy and foreign affairs . Special how he stands on Ukraine war.
Jill Stein green vote…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Donald Trump I would vote for Donald Trump as his views match mine more than Kamala. Also, he seems to know what he’s talking about and actually answers questions given to him. This is unlike Kamala, who doesn’t answer questions and instead gives nonsense word salad.
Kamala Harris I feel as though Kamala Harris is the lesser of the two evils here. Also because of the plans that Donald trump has for the country once he gets elected will affect me and my family significantly.
Robert F. Kennedy He isn’t main stream and clearly cares for the well being of human beings and the environment. I love that he is asking hard questions and wanting to get to the bottom of what is making our country sick and disabled. He’s not afraid of big corporations and big names. He understands how to respectfully disagree with others and have respectful dialog.
Donald Trump I plan to vote for Trump because of his good performance as president, since when he was president many benefits occurred in the United States, such as the country agreement with North Korea.
Robert F. Kennedy I would actually vote for Peter Sonski, the candidate for the American Solidarity Party. But if I have to choose from the options you present, RFK Jr. seems the least influenced by interest groups, and the most likely to create an interesting and problem-solving 4 years before hopefully being replaced with better options in 2028.
Kamala Harris I will vote for Kamala Harris because she has women’s rights in her best interest. During the debate, she gave a good argument on how women have rights to their own bodies and that no one especially a man should take that away from them.
Kamala Harris Trump will win in my region anyway, but larger numbers in the “popular vote” for his main opponent will help to stave off all the stolen election nonsense that’s bound to come if he loses nationally.
Kamala Harris She is the better of the two options and anyone outside of the main two candidates just takes away votes for one of the two, it doesn’t actually have any impact on the outcome.
Kamala Harris I think Donald Trump is deranged. I think Kamala Harris is an empty suit, but she is the lesser of two evils.
Kamala Harris She is the least damaging candidate on issues that are important to me, like transgender/LGBT rights, human rights globally, and the environment.
Jill Stein I will vote for Jill Stein because she opposed the US funding the Israeli genocide of Palestinians. She best represents my beliefs across the board.
Donald Trump He cares about the people that vote for him and is concerned with our well being above anyone else’s and I really admire/respect that because we cannot help anyone else in the world if we can’t help ourselves first
Kamala Harris Because I think she is the better candidate and is reasonable. I want Donald Trump to lose. Aside from his criminality and incompetence, he is racist and misogynistic. He is also a terrifying megalomaniac cult leader.
Kamala Harris Her policys line um with my own and she alzo seems to be very respectful and knowledgeable at what she does.
Kamala Harris I feel she is the right woman to be the first woman president. Her values and beliefs seem to align most with mine. Furthermore, and maybe even more so, is my fear of any Republican in office while the party is SO extremist.
Kamala Harris I feel she is able to bring the country together better. However, at this point I feel I am in a position of picking my own poison. Harris, seems okay to me after the presidential debate. I like how she is anti abortion and certain tax credits she purposes.
Kamala Harris because the other option is to vote for a convicted felon who already tried an attempted coup, i don’t particularly like Kamala Harris but the way i see it, she is the lesser of two evils
Donald Trump My first choice is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He has not been given a fair chance, so I will vote for Trump in hopes that Kennedy is given a position in the Cabinet. Harris is not an option for me because she is not able to answer any specific questions about policy.
Kamala Harris I would vote for her because I REALLY do not want more conservatives in government after everything that’s been going on since 2016. I seriously just want someone on the left in a continued position of power so we can work our way back to being on track to a non-project 2025 future.
Robert F. Kennedy Has his own true agenda that isn’t coming from a one sided party, and wants what’s best for everyone and not just some people.
Kamala Harris well i would like to see a change in presidency where women dominate and are given an opportunity to rule and make changes and a lot of accomplishment.
Chase Oliver I believe there should be more than 2 major parties in the US. I think the two party system is horrible for our country. I also tend to align best with the principles of the Libertarian Party
Donald Trump I hate them both so much. The only reason I would vote for Trump would be because I do not trust democrats with money. They want to spend tax dollars on the poor but they get those tax dollars from middle class people like me. Also, democrats failed in terms of inflation these past 4 years. I really wish there was a more likable, not scummy republican candidate but it is what it is.
Donald Trump because all the other candidates are trash and hes the only good option there most sane president and you know alot of things were much bettter under his administration
Kamala Harris I think she is a great candidate and would vote for her in most years. This year I would vote for anyone other than Trump.
Kamala Harris Because I don’t want Trump to win and she is the only option available even tough she is not the greatest candidate to be the next president
Jill Stein Major party candidates are both authoritarian, corporate-bootlickers. I identify more with libertarians, but there are no good candidates. Jill Stein is the closest relevant candidate.
Robert F. Kennedy I don’t trust either one of the Republican or Democrat and I like John F. Kennedy and since he is related to him, why not
Donald Trump I strongly disapprove of how the biden Harris administration has handled wars around the world. The US should not be arming belligerent nations
Kamala Harris I feel that Trump has lost his appeal to me. His convictions and charges and i feel that he is being influenced more and more by foriegn entities. He just became too full of himself and i dont see him leading for the people anymore like i once believed. I also strongly do not agree with what they are doing with womans rights and project 2025 is not something i want to see happen. I dont agree with a lot of Harris but she will not tank our country now
Donald Trump I don’t like Trump, but I don’t feel like Kamala is capable of being president and Trump does have favorable policies on the economy.
Jill Stein I would vote for Jill Stein because she is pro-palestine and shows concern for what people actually want to see done politically.
Robert F. Kennedy Robert F. Kennedy is professional, experienced, and does not put on a show. His beliefs are generally in the middle of the parties and is the least likely to make waves as President (causing issues with other countries and people within the US). I believe he would help bridge the division between the two parties and unite the country better than the other candidates.
Donald Trump I believe at the very least he will bolster a much stronger economy then the current administration. I’m not completely sold on either candidate, but something has to give on this inflation and economic downturn we have faced over the last 4 years.
Kamala Harris I believe that she actually wants all Americans to thrive, not just those who are rich and powerful.
Kamala Harris My vote for Kamala is literally just a vote against Trump. I don’t necessarily think she is cut out to be President but she at least has the mental capacity to handle it. When I hear about her policies they don’t really appeal to me but neither do Trumps. Our country is in pretty bad shape when it comes to options for president
Jill Stein I would like to vote for a progressive candidate. Ideally, I would vote for someone who is pro Palestine.
Donald Trump I would vote for Donald Trump because I know what to expect from him as president since he was already president. I don’t trust Kamala Harris with the economy and foreign affairs. I feel I do not know enough about Kamala Harris.
Kamala Harris I have been through four years of Donald Trump’s presidency and feel like I am ready to try something different. I’m over it at this point. I feel that Kamala is younger and more eager to try her luck at being our president. I’d like to go ahead and help give her the opportunity to try it out.
Kamala Harris She is the most stable candidate and one of two that can actually win. I don’t agree with some of her policies but I think she will be better than Trump.
Donald Trump He’s the better of the candidates that actually has a chance of winning. He is also the lesser of two evils. Kamala Harris has done nothing for this country while she has held power so why would I vote for her to have another four years. Trump made at least did some things. His personality is just abrasive.
Kamala Harris I would vote for Kamala Harris because I’m hopeful about her plans for economic change and her stand for female reproduction rights.
Robert F. Kennedy I took a quiz to identify where I currently land on the political spectrum and with whom I am most closely aligned, and It was RFK Jr.
Kamala Harris I think that she is the lesser of two evils and we cannot have Trump run this country especially given his policies and him literally being a convicted felon.
Kamala Harris I dont want trump running for president again, as he stands right now, nothing spectacular has come out from him running.
Kamala Harris I would vote for Kamala Harris because I believe her social views overall align with mine. Part of the reason is also because I do not believe Trump would be a good president.
Donald Trump I hate how divisive he is but I still feel like his policies are better than anything Harris proposing. I feel the left focuses too much on blaming white people, who for the most part have nothing to do with previous issues such as slavery and discrimination and less on what we can do to help minorities. While Trump say a lot of crazy stuff his policies, at least to me, seem more in line with helping everyone rather than pointing the finger.
Donald Trump I am concerned about the economy and border security. I feel like we need a change and this will not happen with the democrats.
Kamala Harris Because she’s the best candidate on the list. She seems to care about the people vs herself. Frankly, Trump is trouble and Kamala can only be better!
Kamala Harris she has the best chance to beat trump and he is a clear and present danger to democracy in the US. I wish that there was a better election process in our country like ranked voting but there is not.
Kamala Harris While I don’t have much positives to say, besides some allied liberal ideologies, I think she’s slightly better than trump and his blind followers. If we’re being honest they’re both absolutely terrible and I try to distance myself from any politics, as it’s just a waste of thought
Kamala Harris I would vote for Kamala because I think her policies and values most closely align with mine. I also think all candidates have faults, but she’s the more reasonable choice for me
Donald Trump I would vote for Donald Trump because I think he is the best candidate out of all the available options. I want to be clear that I’m not that excited to vote for Trump again, however I think all the other presidential candidates are much worse then him. I agree with a lot of his thoughts on the economy. I think the United States needs someone who will get jobs and inflation back on track. I think Trump will help lower the costs of goods and the prices in general.
Robert F. Kennedy I would vote for RFK because Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are just a lot of talk. They would not be good for the country.
Donald Trump I would like to see him elected because I like his stance on immigration and anti-globalism. I also feel that he is very pro United States citizen while others are in favor immigrants.
Kamala Harris My biggest concerns are possible supreme court picks under trump and the possible overturning of gay marriage.
Jill Stein I plan to vote for her because I am personally against the United States supplying money for genocide. I want a peaceful planet with everyone treated fairly and respectfully, and unfortunately, neither of the main political parties has earned my vote.
Kamala Harris I want to vote for Kamala because her platform aligns most with what I believe would be the best options for our country. There are three factors of her platform that I really want to see implemented: reproductive rights for all women, more strict gun control (not complete removal of gun ownership, just stricter guidelines for ownership), and financial help for higher education.
Kamala Harris She is the democratic nominee and the only candidate with a chance of beating Trump. Trump being in office would be a danger to the future of our country
Robert F. Kennedy He’s been misrepresented a lot as being the conspiracy theory guy, but I just think he would be a more transparent and honest candidate, with the goal of moving away from the current polarized 2 party system. I think that is something that is of the utmost importance right now.
Donald Trump I would want to vote for him because I would not want to have Kamala in office. I would want to some of the policies to stay or change to a more red type. I would want our borders more secure and I would want to top the refugees coming here. I honestly think that if there are any starving children anywhere in this country we should not be bringing in foreigners.
Kamala Harris i would vote for kamela harris because im ready to see change in america and hopefully we will get what wewant
Donald Trump i find kamala to be very fake. i think the democrats have done a poor job with the gaza situation as well as the border crisis. trump is a crazy madman but at least hes straight up and direct. kamala is fake.
Kamala Harris I feel both have their flaws, but Donald Trump isn’t someone I want to trust the country with. He’s going to pardon the people from the riot who he claims are heroes. That mentality is too corrupt.
Chase Oliver As a protest vote to the two horrible main party candidates we are given. I’ll either vote for Chase Oliver or write in Ron Desantis.
Donald Trump Because I believe he is the best option out of the available candidates. I am not a fan of Kamala Harris at all and the independents/other parties don’t have a chance to win.
Donald Trump I don’t really want to vote for Donald trump- but I especially do not want to vote for Kamala. I think trumps presidency in 2016 was good while Kamala has done accomplished anything and I am scared of her policies
Kamala Harris Honestly, I wouldn’t vote at all. I think the presidential election is a joke and never thought of politics as affecting in any meaningful way for me to actually care. My life is affected by my own decisions, my work ethic, my choices, and it always has. I am voting for Kamala simply because…my wife wants me to.
Kamala Harris Even though I am a Republican, and have voted for trump in the past, I do not like him. I’m not the biggest fan of Kamala either, but she’s the lesser of two evils.
Chase Oliver I do not really agree with the politics of either the democratic or republican candidates. I am annoyed that our options are limited to those two. I typically vote libertarian because the candidates are so terrible.
Jill Stein I fall more in the middle and I tend to agree with her platform. I agree with her stances on employment and immigration
Jill Stein Her values and morals that she has expressed and represented are closely aligned with my views and opinions.
Donald Trump I believe he has stronger economic policies and less socialist views than Harris. I agree with his opinions on reducing the size of government operations, restoring power to the states, and protecting freedom of speech policies.
Kamala Harris
Donald Trump
Robert F. Kennedy
Kamala Harris
Kamala Harris It’s the only choice that seems to have the potential to prevent Donald Trump from being reelected.
Kamala Harris I’m voting against Trump more than voting for Kamala. I do not agree with Trump’s divisive rhetoric, his stoking of racist overtones against Haitians like he did against Mexicans in 2016, and his constant appeasement to the Christian right.
Donald Trump
Kamala Harris
Kamala Harris

IF [Not Sure]: In your own words, why are you unsure of who you will vote for?

why_notsure
I don’t like either the republican or democratic nominee. I’d need to do research on the other parties to see who I’d vote for.
There are positives and negatives to all of the candidates I am considering. The candidates I’ve already decided I will not be voting for never deserved my vote in the first place. I can see a situation in which I would vote for most of the candidates I am considering, I just haven’t fully decided yet who I think will help our country the most.
I definitely lean Republican but I do not like Donald Trump. I will not vote Democrat as I don’t believe in Socialism which is essentially their platform. I don’t know enough about the 3rd party candidates, but I will need to hurry up and look into them. I may even do a write in to confirm my frustration with the choices.
I have not fully reviewed the polices of the candidates and I have not decided. whether or not II will vote in this upcoming election
I personally refuse to vote for either of the two main candidates and would have to do research about the rest.
Because it is like choosing the lesser of two evils, and this can be a hard decision. I want to vote for the right person but just have decided who will be the right one.
I am not satisfied with either of the candidates of the two main parties. I have not had the opportunity to seek information about all of the other options.
I haven’t found anyone who I necessarily agree with. Most of the candidates do not speak to me, nor can they relate to me. I want someone who is young and understands what the country needs.
I don’t like any of the options that I have to choose from. There has to be someone out there that is better then what we have to choose from.
It would be helpful to have all relevant information first. It might be better to wait until more was known about the candidates and the options in question.
Because all the candidates show heavy flaws that compared to previous years, it just feels like there isn’t even a single choice that I like base on their merits.
I am still torn between Trump and Harris. I am not crazy about either of them, but I feel like the most important issues are the economy, immigration, and women’s rights. They have such opposite views that I don’tknow what to do.
All the candidates are pretty bad. None of them actually relate to me and are only concerned about themselves and lie constantly to try and stay in power.
Both main candidates, have still not shown me personally, that they will do good for our country. They both have negative qualities that I am not sure I want in a President. I am honestly concerned for what may happen to our country.
I absolutely loathe all of the candidates that the horrible parties that be in this country have presented for us, the American people, to choose from. Honestly, can anyone say with a straight face that these people are our best and brightest?
Because JFK is out, trump or harris will probably win. I don’t like either trump or harris and I do not know the other candidates well enough to vote for them.
I do not like either candidate that much. So it is the lesser of two evils really. I need to think more about it.
I typically vote Democrat but I do not support Kamala Harris’s/ Joe Biden’s ongoing role in the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestine (and now Lebanon). If she stopped her support of Israel’s acts of aggression in the Middle East I would vote for her. In addition her policies are far too moderate and she flip flops on issues with no real clear agendas. I am leaning towards a protest vote.
I am unsure about who I will vote for because I haven’t made my decision as to who is the best candidate.
Have not decided between the available candidates. I am not happy with any of the options at the moment
I find election time really confusing because everyone is trying to “sell” you something. They do not do this the rest of the year or non election years. The whole thing is a little yucky and makes me feel uneasy and unsure
Because I am uncertain about candidates clarity on issues such as immigration and the economy at large .I need more clarity before taking a stance and also the way the candidates are campaigning is more of a tarnish image of their opponents. I feel lie we need a positive and faqir approach
I’m not sure of who I’d vote for at this time because it feels like no one is focusing on policies when doing rallies and debates, and it seems like the theatrics are once again the main focus of the election. While I’m leaning towards voting for Kamala, I haven’t heard enough about her policies and how she’ll actually implement them. Voting for Trump just seems like an awful thing solely because of how he treats others, especially women.
I do not know enough about each candidate’s policies and proposed plans. I do not feel informed enough to make a decision about who to vote for.
I am unsure because I am not satisfied with one candidate of any party, and I need to decide which one I would have to compromise my values and beliefs to vote for. It can be frustrating to navigate the complexities of each candidate’s position, making it hard to feel confident in your choice.
At this point I need to do more research on who is a better choice for our country. I don’t have a lot of faith in either party or our current government system.
There are still many things on the table regarding this election. Harris has not concretely made a position.
Because I am not pleased with any of the candidates running, and I’d prefer not to vote for any of them. But I will vote, just haven’t decided which is the best option yet. I may just ended up voting for the independent candidate.
I want Republican values, but I’m a little nervous about the volatility of Trump. I am so unsure of Harris policies, which she has not explained at all, that I can’t vote for her. I don’t know why we can’t find any candidates that are intelligent moderates.
I am unsure because I have not done enough research to settle on which candidate I am voting for. I am a registered republican but that does not mean I always vote towards the republican candidate.
While each candidate has something to offer, no candidate presently I feel presents an overall package that will more than likely significantly benefit the United States of America near and long term.
Because the two main options that are likeliest to be elected are not candidates that I wanted. Kamala and Trump being our only two options is not where I thought we’d be with this election.
I really don’t feel Mr. Trump is the right person to be President of the United States. But, I’m not sure Mrs. Harris is the right person either. This is like the last few elections for me - vote for the person who is not worst.
I am not sure either of our candidates are a good fit. I am going to do more studying of their policies and what they support first.
people are irresponsible now a days………………………………………………………………………………………….
I am not fond of either candidate. I do not feel comfortable giving either candidate my vote at this time and I am still undecided. Ultimately I may become and singe or select issue voter and make my choice that way.
I don’t feel fully comfortable with any of the candidates yet. I need more time to figure out whose policies are closer to my ideals. I would like to hear concrete, realistic plans about improving the economy before I make my decision.
I don’t trust either candidate to do what’s right by me and the rest of the African-American community. Kamala for one, does not know who she wants to portray. Once upon a time she was known as Indian. Even now when the question of race is presented to her, she never really gives an answer. It’s usually something along the lines of it being a tragedy, how race was still a topic of discussion? It just confuses me, I feel as if she’s willing to do or say anything to win and on top of that the DNC was horrible! As an African-American, I felt as if she was trying to hard to gain the black vote! But it was cringy. The Democrats seem to think all that they have to do is offer a little entertainment, use some slang and Black people will feel as if they are”down” with the “brown” and automatically give them our vote. But unfortunately, that seems to be what has happened over the last 90+ years. Once upon a time, I did not believe in reparations. Then as I got a little older and truly understood why reparations are owed … out of everyone what was done to us was truly horrific, but everyone else received reparations, including the Jews, the Indians, and even the Japanese Americans who were incarcerated in internment camps during World War II. Neither side cares about my ethnic group enough to even be fair towards us. No one wants a handout, it wasn’t a handout when it was given to anyone else, so why use that excuse with us. When America was built on the back of our ancestors. AndTrump is a whole character himself… he is entertaining though. I just don’t know which one is the lesser detriment..
I’m not sure if the benefits I would hopefully receive from voting Democrat (student loan forgiveness, etc.) is worth overlooking moral issues that I have with Democrats (sending arms to Israel). On the other hand, I know that voting third party makes it nearly impossible for your candidate to win, even if a third party candidate most accurately portrays my actual political and moral beliefs
I am unsure because I am split on polices between the two major candidates. I support issues on different sides of the party line, therfore not sure who I would prefer.
I no longer supported Biden and was interested in supporting Trump, due to the possible world war we’re on the verge of, and the worrying immigration problem that’s been handled irresponsibly. I still haven’t made my mind up on Kamala just yet, but likely will end up using these follow up questions to motivate me to try doing my own research to figure out who is still worth supporting before election time! It’s a tough call!!
Neither candidate is appealing at all. I am leaning more towards trump, but he seems a little unstable
I was originally planning to vote for RFK Jr, but then he decided to drop out. I really don’t like either major candidate. Kamala seems better than Trump, but she’s still not the ideal candidate for me.
I’m not unsure, but the only other possible option for me to choose was “I will not vote”. I will vote, but at this point I would likely write in a protest vote. I don’t like any of the candidates enough to select one of the ones printed on the ballot.
I still do not like either candidate. I am waiting to see if my feelings change before the election.
I don’t like either of the main candidates; and not sure if I will change my mind enough to go vote for one.
I haven’t made up my mind yet. If there’s another debate, I would prefer to watch that, and also I would want to know more about every candidate.
I’m a Republican but i don’t like or trust Trump and i cannot vote for him. I don’t think Harris believes in anything or at least she’s not saying, her campaign is based on the fact that she’s not Trump, so I may end up voting for a Libertarian again.
I’m unsure of who I’ll vote for because there are so many factors to consider. Some candidates have strong policies in certain areas, but then there are things I disagree with or feel unsure about. It’s hard to know who will follow through on their promises or adapt well to unexpected challenges once in office. Plus, it can feel like I’m choosing between compromises rather than finding a candidate who aligns perfectly with what I believe. I’m trying to weigh the pros and cons of each before making a final decision.
I think Harris and Trump are both terrible candidate but I don’t think a 3rd party candidate has a chance to win in America. I need to decide if one of the candidates who could realistically win (Harris or Trump) has enough redeeming qualities to deserve my vote or if I should throw it away voting for a 3rd party (or possibly not voting at all) as a mostly hollow protest.
I am not unsure..my candidate is not listed. I am voting for Claudia de la Cruz, a true socialist candidate with decades of boots on the ground, organizing experience.
There aren’t any good candidates. We are forced into unliked candidates from major parties and that makes voting less exciting. It makes the individual voice matter less when you have to vote against someone rather than for another v
harris has not experience to lead and has far to many liberal leaning ideas, and Trump is a clearly incompetent to lead and is just self promoting his self with lies and things that can not be done.
i believe that the policies each candidates support has changed dramatically in a short period of time with respect to what they are advocating whole heartedly and what they are saying purely for their political stance
still trying to decide who i want the most both o the two have things i agree with and dont agree wiyh
I traditionally vote for Democrats for president but Kamala Harris will not commit to a bolder stance that conditions weapons transfers to Israel in relation to its unjustifiable genocide in Gaza. I also do not want to vote for President that will adopt the right wing border bill that Trump put forth initially.
I don’t feel happy about any of the candidates or their policies. Kamala Harris isn’t progressive enough for me.
The choices are not good, and I have no trust in the two front runners. The other candidates I know nothing about, and they are unlikely to win. This year’s nominations are a big disappointment. I will vote, but I am not sure who for.
I do not really like any of the choices. I do not believe anything either Trump or Harris says. I do not really like to vote for an off party candidate because I do not believe they have a chance of winning. I just need to decide which candidate I can live with for 4 years.
I’m unsure of who I will vote for because I don’t feel confident about any candidate yet. Each has strengths and weaknesses, but none have fully convinced me of their ability to lead effectively. I’m still weighing their policies, values, and potential to deliver on promises before making a decision.
Im unsure of who I will vote for Because I’m not favorable of the current candidates. I’m very skeptical of Kamala Harris and the plans she has for the United States of America. Sometimes it seems as if she does things to get the popular vote.
I am unhappy with the candidate’s choices. I was going to vote for RFK, but he took his name off the ballot. None of the candidates on the ballot seem capable of doing a good job.
I’m unsure of who to vote for as I don’t know enough about each candidate. I generally do more research as we get closer to election day.
I don’t like any of the candidates. I feel all parties will simply cause debt to continue to rise and inflation won’t improve. I feel Trump’s tariffs will cause inflation and possibly other issues. Kamala Harris party is trying to break up monopolies which would hurt my current holdings.
I am a Democrat and I am inclined to vote for Kamala Harris, but I cannot deny the fact that she does not possess the witt and strength to be the president of the United States. She does not have a proper policy in place to help us out financially, economically, or socially. Immigration is killing us under her watch and now she says that after she gets elected she’ll fix it? Why won’t she do it now? It all makes me feel like she is a liar. But I do not like Trump as a person even though I cannot deny the fact that life was objectively better under his presidency than it is now. So right now I’m still listening to both of them and I am sure that I’ll know whom to vote for by election day.
I think Donald Trump will be good for the economy and that is what America needs right now. I believe he will help the economy and inflation so Americans can afford rent and groceries again. There are many other issues I agree more with Kamala Harris on though such as bringing Americans together more and unifying everyone.
I don’t know enough about all of them, and honestly don’t believe in their promises. I hope to learn more about the candidates so I can make the best decision.
I’m still making my final decisions based on understanding each of the two main candidates’ policies. I’m leaning a bit more towards Kamala Harris, but I still need to hear more from her
I’m not really excited about either of the republican or democratic candidates but I don’t think a third party would get enough votes to win.
Because I don’t trust that my vote will actually count. I’m not confident in our voting power and system and it may be corrupted.
I absolutely hate both of them. I hate Harris more. They always talk about how democrats are socialists. That’s not true. What she is proposing is far sicker than socialism. That said, I fear trump’s tarriffs. They will gut the economy.
I don’t like either “main” candidate enough to vote for either one of them. I’m still trying to decide if I should vote for the lesser evil one or vote third party.
I stand with Palestine and refuse to vote for anyone who will support Israel and their continuation of genocide. I’m also not sure if the third party candidates are deserving of my votes.
I’m still investigating all of the candidates other than Trump and Harris before I make a final decision.
I have yet to see either legit candidate talk about a platform that I agree with. I feel like they are both so focused on talking about the negative characteristics of the other instead of focusing on their policies they would like to implement.
I am still weighing my options between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. I feel Trump would be better for the economy but could cause many social issues. I feel Kamala would be more diplomatic.
I am still doing my due diligence and collecting information on the available parties before I make my decision.
Because I believe that the whole political show is a huge government monopoly being manipulated by the higher ranking members of its society. I do not feel that we have any control regardless of if we vote or not.
I’m unsure who to vote for because both candidates seem hypocritical, and I don’t want to participate.
I’m still undecided who I will vote for in the election.I will make decision closer to election. It still things I’m trying to figure out
I strongly dislike both of the main parties and their candidates. I also dislike the green party’s candidate, which is the party I normally vote for
Each major party candidate is problematic. I want to vote, but I don’t like any of the options. I do not trust anyone
I have always been a Democrat, however, I am not convinced that Kamala Harris is the candidate I should vote for. I also don’t love the idea of Donald Trump being President again. I’m at a loss that these two candidates are the best options for the American people to choose from. There are policies of both candidates that I strongly disagree with. I feel frustrated.
Not voting for trump or harris, probably Cornell if I do vote. If Harris changes her stance on aiding a genocide in Palestine, I might consider voting for her.
There are problems with all candidates . Problems with Trump and big problems with Harris. Kennedy is no longer running. It is depressing
Because I don’t know really follow politics to know enough on who to actually vote for. I just feel as if I’m not smart enough
I think both primary candidates are terrible options. The independents will just take votes away from the main candidates, and deciding who is the lesser of two evils is tough
Too many things need to be talked about, and it is too early to decide who to vote for right now. I do not like what Kamala is saying, and I do not like the way Donald is talking. The other people seem uninterested to run like Kennedy who dropped out.
I will definitely not vote for Trump or Harris. I am still trying to decide if I will vote for the Libertarian candidate or if I will not cast a vote for President.
I am unsure because I don’t think these candidates are good for this country. America will not get any better with these people being the president.
I do not trust either candidates for the major parties. Harris was forced on the country and she cant answer a question properly, and Trump is Trump
I’m just not satisfied on any of the candidates. I’m very torn in between both Republican and Democrat views. I think Trump did a fair job before as president, but think he can be a hot head.
I am unsure about the policy and planning each candidate will bring and execute. I haven’t gotten a clear picture for the future yet.
I don’t really like the Democrats economic policies, and they don’t seem to have any policy under Kamala Harris. I don’t trust Trump’s character, and the GOP has strayed so far from what they were 15 years ago.
I am an Independent. Kennedy dropped out. I dislike Trump. Harris is okay, but I’m not sure what I am going to do. It is very confusing situation. I have some time to think about it and decide.
Because I don’t believe any of the candidates will do anything to benefit me and my family. They are all liars and only looking after the corporations and wealthy.
I dislike both candidates so much. They are both deeply flawed. I am waiting until the last minute to decide, because you just never know what could happen between now and then.
I am unsure at the moment because I am still deciding on who I want to vote for. As always when it is campaign time, promises are made but as history shows it… they are hardly ever kept.
I am not satisfied with any of the candidates at the moment. I watched the most recent debate and still was not happy with my choices. I will need more time.
I am still outweighing perspectives related to the economy. I am also looking into which candidate would be a good choice for women’s rights, jobs, climate change, etc
Because I don’t really like or trust either of the main two candidates. And I don’t know anything about the other candidates at all.
I am not very familiar with any of the candidates outside of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. I do know for a fact, however, that I will not be voting for the Democratic nominee. I am not all that confident in the Republicans either. My best course of action is to do a bit more research on candidates from the other parties.
Well, originally I wanted to vote for Robert Kennedy Jr, but he is no longer running and has endorsed Trump. I’m disappointed by this decision, and I don’t know where I will vote going forward.
WELL I HAVE NOT CHECKED OUT THE CANIDATE POSITIONS ON MISSUES THAT I FOUND IMPORTANT. WOMANS REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS BEING MONE MOF THE MOST IMPORTANT I WILL NOT VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO DISAGREES WITH MY POINT MOF VIEW AGAIN.
I haven’t liked some of the things that Kamala Harris has talked about. And I definitely don’t like Trumps lies. Waiting for the next debate to finalize my decision.
There is much to be considered. There are many candidates, many issues, and etc. I don’t like to pick the mainstream parties because I feel there are others who needs to be recognized.

My red line is an immediate arms embargo on Israel, and neither Harris nor Trump have indicated any plan to do so. Israeli aggression could end with a single phone call and the words “no more weapons”, but Biden is a self-avowed lifelong Zionist and Harris is following in his stead and tacking to the right. Now, with Israel’s attacks on and incursion into Lebanon, we’re witnessing in real-time what WWII would have looked like if we threw our full support behind the fascists rather than fight against them.

It’s not just a ‘single-issue vote’. Everything that we are supporting abroad has already come back home. Our tax money could be spent on improving quality of life, government benefits, infrastructure, etc. – but we have to keep the war machine churning and Americans are the ones funding it at our own expense. Israeli violence is deeply intertwined with our own law enforcement: the GILEE program in Georgia; the NYPD office in Tel Aviv; the fact that our cops are trained in Krav Maga.

Democrats have tacked so far to the right in an effort to court the ‘never-Trump’ Republicans that they’re leaving behind the biggest group of voters: non-voters. There is no hope or optimism, no bold declarative statements specifically listing policy changes with wide-ranging benefits (with no means-tested winnowing down of eligibility). Some of the war-hawking Harris in engaging in reminds me of the sentiment in America immediately in the wake of 9/11.

Trump is a monster. Harris’s platform is conservative by any other comparable OECD nations. Young people are inheriting a world literally on fire and nobody is advocating for their future.
Still undecided. Probably Harris or Trump. I don’t like either one but one of the two is more likely to win than any other candidate.
A lot of it is up in the air and none of the candidates are making specific policy arguments, just promising what they think people want to hear.
I feel as though the race results have already been determined, and we are just being strung along to go along with the facade of a “democracy.” My vote likely wouldn’t count.
I am not completely happy with any candidate in this election. I need to further research their views on issues that are important to me to make a decision.
well kamala harris would be a total disaster of a president for our country trump would do a decent job but I do not like him either and I do not like any other candidate and lets face it every year it always comes down to either democrat or republican the democrats as of lately are trying to take our freedoms as Americans away and the republicans are just as corrupt the only one that is not is trump but like I said I do not like him or his attitude
I only know the politics of the two main politicians. I am not agreeing some or a lot of their ideas.
I don’t like any particular candidate. I also live in a firmly blue state, so the result is a forgone conclusion.
realistically, only kamala or trump will win. a third party vote could strengthen third party power in the us, but they wont win. i dont feel comfortable voting for anyone who is uncritical of israels genocide and apartheid of palestine, and who is willing to give them more money, especially for weaponry. both kamala and trump have decided that genocide and apartheid are not dealbreakers. this is unacceptable.
Trump just really doesn’t fit with my priorities for this country. Although I think he is better than former presidents when it comes to foreign relations, his approach to Ukraine is short sighted and foolish. I really just think he is out of touch with the troubles the average American faces. Harris is a former prosecutor and an evil person. In addition to that, her plans she has put forth do not address root problems and are clearly going to make inflation work. I think she is a weak leader and a bit delusional. I haven’t looked into 3rd party candidates enough to know whether any of them deserve my vote so that is where I am right now.
i am not sure of the qualities in each candidate, or if i will vote at all although i currently lean towards kamala harris
While there is a stark difference between the two as far as competency and danger, they’re not different on issues I deem key or important. Such as policing, climate, and foreign affairs.
My political beliefs vary fairly widely depending on the issue, and I don’t feel like any of the candidates match my views 100%. I still have some more thinking to do about which issues are the most important to me and to determine who matches those values the best.
I am unsure about who I will vote for because I don’t think any of the candidates are good choices. The two party system must end along with the Electoral College. I do not want to vote for the lesser of two evils.
Realistically there is only two choices. Harris and Trump. Our system is set up so that it will not allow for the possibility of a third option. It is either republican or democrat, the classic two party system with no in between. Harris and Trump are essentially the same candidate. They both are obsessed with backing Ukraine and Israel which is pushing us into further intense tensions around the world, and also threatening new military conflict and world war. Every other issues like borders, guns, abortions, will not matter if we’re so adamant on creating war with other nations.
I haven’t researched any candidates still and not sure if it is even worth it this time. I know I won’t be voting for Harris or Trump or Kennedy or Stein. I don’t know the other candidates. I am very libertarian, but the party that uses that name usually has candidates that aren’t even pro-life, which makes no sense and I can’t support, but I would have to investigate this particular candidate to see, along with the others. If I do vote, it will most likely be for someone not listed here, but I don’t know who. A vote for Trump or Harris is a vote for war and inflation. those are basically the 2nd and 3rd things I look for when choosing.
Because I feel there are no good options. The elections are more about picking the least bad option and I don’t have a firm belief of who that is. Both sides have significant negative attributes.
I don’t care for any of the candidates. None of the non-Republican or Democrat ones have any hope for winning and I dislike both Harris and Trump for different reasons.
I am unsure because I really don’t love either candidate. I feel like they each have their strong points but neither candidate has made me feel confident in voting for them. My biggest concern right now is the economy, which I feel Trump is better suited to resolve, but I don’t stand for his character and how he acts as a leader. I feel as though Harris has a more liberal view point, which I agree with, but it doesn’t feel as though she is going to make any significant changes to help the American people. She would have already tried in her last 4 years as Vice President.
Not decided yet. My vote should go for the person who is a good candidate for presidenti, honest, and good qualified person
I’m still deciding who will be the most effective for the people as a whole. I want to make sure the candidate I chose has the same values as I do for one.
I would lean toward Kamala but I really don’t like her and I’m not happy about it. There are certain things that I think trump would be better with but I just don’t trust him and would too nervous having him as president again. But I’m also very fed up with the democrats.
I feel like personally I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place between these two candidates. One one hand you have Kamala Harris who I feel is underqualified and in over her head, and on the other hand you have Donald Trump who is an insurrectionist who tried to undermine the Democracy of the United States of America. It’s not an easy decision.
Everything comes down to policies which requires further research into each candidate to see what they do and don’t support
I identify more with being a Republican, but I can’t vote for Trump because I find him morally reprehensible. I don’t really want to vote democrat, so I’m torn on what to do.
I’d probably rather just vote down ballot and leave the president pick empty. I don’t trust any of them.

I dont want to vote for Kamala or Trump. Kamala is clearly the better choice over Trump, but there are multiple issues I currently have with the Democratic party.

Biden “hiding” from the public about his “decline” or at least poor public performance to where a reasonable person could worry about his overall performance,

How Kamala was chosen to be the nominee, there was talk of there being some sort of mini primary before the Democratic convention, that never happen.

I didnt like Kamala in the 2020 primary and she didnt make it very far in that primary.

If i was in a swing state I would hold my nose and vote for Kamala, im not in a swing state, im fairly certain on how my state will vote, so I feel more “safe” to use my vote against her as a “protest”
I dislike both candidates as people and I don’t agree with some policies for each candidate. It makes it really hard to pick someone to vote for when you disagree with all the candidates
Because I will not vote for Trump or Harris and I don’t know enough about the other candidates to make a judgement.
Both party’s have valid points and i need to continue to watch their actions to determine who my vote will be before.
I really don’t like Harris or Trump, and I have a strong feeling none of the other candidates have even a small chance.
Each candidate has some good and bad points. I am undecided. Trump has some ideals and principles that aligns to mine, and on the other hand, the minorities like me are more comfortable with Harris.
Although I tend to consider myself an independent voter, I am unsure of who to vote for in the upcoming election. The democrats make good points for a socially liberal person like myself, however, the republicans have better economic talking points which I believe will help our nation’s economy in the long run.
I really am not to happy with either of the candidates I do not like trump because he lies And I do not like Kamala’s record
I don’t feel confident in any candidate. Voting for Trump or Kamala feels like voting for the lesser of two evils, as every election has felt like for years. I don’t feel Kamala is genuine and is simply saying things she knows the American people want to hear. I don’t think there is any substance behind what she says. Trump is a maniac and it’s scary how delusional his followers are. He could say the sky is raining turds and his supporters would blindly accept this as truth and proceed to get angry at anyone who questions this.

IF [No Vote]: In your own words, why will you not vote?

why_novote
i don’t like either candidate. I think neither will help me and I honestly do not think either will hurt me or put me in a worse place than now. So i don’t care.
I am not really into politics and also i don’t really like the policies presented by the parties for this election
None of the candidates are worth my vote. I don’t think any of them align with enough of my personal values and I disagree with many social and economic issues.
There isn’t a candidate that I can support. Donald Trump is a blowhard and mostly reminds me of a used car salesman. It’s an embarrassment to have him as the face of the US. Kamala Harris, on the other hand is just pandering to voters without giving specifics as to her platform. I don’t think she has one other than promising goodies to people in order to get their vote. I honestly won’t support anyone that doesn’t at least acknowledge that when the interest on the national debt exceeds the budget for the Defense department, some choices have to be made and indiscriminate spending has to stop.
I will not vote because I do not like the idea of voting in general. I believe that voting gives consent to allow someone else to rule over me which is why I will not vote.
I do not believe that voting has any effect whatsoever. I don’t believe that it makes a difference who is president. No matter what, voting at all may as well be an act of violence.
There are no qualified candidates. Both of the candidates are trying to destroy the country. Both are insane.
Both candidates kind of suck, it’s like being asked which knee you want to be shot in. One’s a serial lair and the other is just too smug
I am not happy with either candidate. I cannot, in good conscience, give my vote of approval to either person.
If the election was tomorrow, I am still unsure. Both candidates are saying great changes they will make however, the actions say otherwise. VP Harris has been in office the last 8 years and from my perspective our economy has gotten worse. I can barely afford things in my household. With Former President Trump, though the economy was better, he himself is problematic. I am still up in the air with everything.
While I am a registered Republican and actually liked Kamala Harris initially, my feelings have changed since then. First, I don’t believe she did enough during the Biden administration to justify her being the Democratic candidate for President. As for Trump, he is terrible, unhinged and I am not confident in his ability to lead the United States.
I do not see the benefit in voting for either candidate because we are in a lose lose situation with both.
I don’t like any of the candidates enough to vote for them. Pretty much all politicians are terrible.
The probability of my vote mattering is miniscule (there have been studies done on this, e.g. by Geoffrey Brennan). Voting, even in swing states, has not been shown to be rational, given opportunity costs, massive bad voting, homogenized politicians and the difficulty in long-run prediction, extremely, judicial activism and other factors. I’m probably making a larger difference in the world by not using my car to go to the polls.
I’m not registered to vote in my state. If I were able to vote, I still wouldn’t because I don’t like either of the primary candidates, and voting for any of the others candidates is a wasted vote.
Two reasons: I dislike both candidates and I know full well that the only way my vote would actually matter is if my state came down to one vote which is extremely unlikely.
I don’t really like any of the candidates. And I’m really not into politics like all that. None of the candidates are any good.

Trump: I held my nose and voted for Trump twice, despite many things I disliked about him, including his persistent interest in conspiracy theories. Since then, he mounted his “the election was stolen” campaign, which, in addition to being a conspiracy theory, proved conclusively that he is more interested in his own personal ambition for power than the good of the country. That’s a deal-breaker for me. I had hoped he would name Nikki Haley as his VP and then I would still have voted for him so I could vote for Nikki Haley in 4 years, but instead he chose mini-me.

Harris: I’m a conservative. How could I vote for her? She was widely viewed as incompetent until she became the candidate, then suddenly, literally overnight, she was a powerhouse. What??

I’ve faced what seemed like impossible choices before, particularly Clinton vs Trump, and always did what I believe to be my civic duty as a Christian and an American, but this time there simply is no remotely acceptable alternative, so I’m not going to vote.
There is not a ‘better’ option to make. I will not choose a “lesser of two evils.” Neither candidate is fit to be the president of the United States and a third party vote is a wasted vote.
I do not believe that my vote matters. I already know who will likely win my state, and honestly I am not impressed with either of the two front runners.
Because I don’t like either of the candidate options for this election cycle and I don’t want to support any of them.
I have no confidence in any candidate to effect needed change. The basic/fundamental requirements (food, healthcare, housing) are just political words to them.
I never have. I think both choice of presidents have enough pros and cons that either would be an equally terrible choice. I just prefer to let the cards fall where they may and allow those who have stronger opinions to have their voice instead.
I do not like any of these candidates and I feel angry that they are the only choices being shoved down our throats.
I don’t like any of these candidates. I voted for Bernie Sanders in the last two elections. He had massive support but it didn’t seem like the Democratic party was going to let him be the candidate. I just don’t have any hope for these candidates or any of the parties. Quite the opposite.
I don’t believe it matters and no candidate will actually help people like me or improve conditions. I think at that level, it’s extremely corrupt and even if a candidate has good intentions there is too much red tape to do anything good.
Because all of the candidates left are a joke. Trump might have brain damage and Kamala is just a chameleon
i think the election is stupid and nothing matters. voting is a waste of time and leads to no change
Because of the US electoral system only a Republican or Democratic Party candidate can win, and neither candidates or party platform represents my interests. It’s not worth the effort to cast a “protest vote” with this lot.
I don’t feel like my vote will matter anyways. Statistically when was the last time 1 vote influenced an entire election.
I wouldn’t vote if the election was tomorrow because i personally don’t see any candidate that deserves my vote. Also, i only know some about the two main contenders Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. I don’t know enough about the other candidates to vote for them. But from what i know of the two main candidates, they are both equally mad contenders in my point of view.
Both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are unfit for the Presidency of the United States. One candidate is allowing millions of illegal migrants cross our border every year. The other candidate is more than willing to cede half of Ukraine to a genocidal maniac. As a Ukrainian American, I find Trump’s stance on Ukraine reprehensible. Equally, Kamala’s lack of action on the borders will ultimately lead to a 9/11 type event.
I do not have the time to, because I am very busy with my job and family responsibilities. I also do not feel that any of the candidates would be a good fit. I also get annoyed every election season because everyone gets very heated about their chosen candidate without a rhyme or reason to. It’s all based on feeling and has little to do with logic.
I do not believe in it. The world is the way is is and it will continue on being the way it is no matter who is in office
I think voting is a staged event and voting will not have on an impact on who gets voted in, it’s only a distraction
Because I’m convinced that no matter if we vote or not we still will not have the candidate that Americans are yearning fir
I don’t believe what the candidates say. The are paid liars and do not fulfill their promises. They flip-flop, lie, and screw-up America.
After being a lifetime Democrat, I can’t support the policies of any of these candidates, for different reasons, and at this point ‘holding my nose’ and continuing to vote for them despite that feels like making myself complicit in things I believe to be morally reprehensible, stupid, destructive, divisive. I’m just fed up and done. Things have gotten too extreme, too tribalistic, and have become disgusted with the whole lineup. Kennedy’s policies for the most part are the least objectionable to me, but he’s also, frankly, nuts (aside from not standing a snowball’s chance in hell of winning, like all other third-party candidates at this point), and so I can’t justify voting for him either. I want to see a movement for a real third-party option (and fourth, and fifth, and…) because believe having two entrenched ‘teams’ is tearing the whole process and our country apart, but we’re not there and so currently feel like the people running third party aren’t really candidates to take seriously (and often tend to be rather fringe when it comes to their views, policies, etc). Meanwhile I see the two main (real) parties increasingly pandering to and enabling their own homegrown extremists while castigating more centrist-leaning, sensible voters for objecting. Abortion matters to me, hugely, but at this point it feels like the carrot on a stick used to keep me loyal to the Dems, as a woman, while they have no viable plan, none, for enshrining the right to it in law, none, that they couldn’t have pursued before, all the years leading up to the overturn when they twiddled their thumbs and did nothing (whether because they couldn’t do anything or didn’t care enough to do so), and meanwhile watching them already poised to blame ‘women’ for a loss, preemptively doing so, as though their ‘thoughts and prayers’ on abortion is enough to beholden us to them and to overcome the widespread contempt they’ve been showing us in so many far-reaching ways. I care about the environment and climate risks, but have watched Dems fumble hearing after hearing on the subject, times when they should be focused and serious about the science, the hard facts, action plans, and instead watched them endlessly waste time to more of the same tired unqualified DEI grievance-mongerers serving up Twitter-esque ‘equity’ word salad that essentially amounts to saying ‘it’s not my problem to solve’ instead of climate experts. I’ve watched them lie about Biden’s mental state for years, as someone who professionally has access to a lot of footage of him that never makes the news, watched them call it a fake news Republican conspiracy until they were caught with their pants down at the debate, that they were willing to run him for president again KNOWING THIS, and now instead we have a Democratic candidate that no one voted for and who was deeply unpopular when she ran for president who has been appointed and refuses to try to earn votes by getting clear on policy. I can’t support Trump for all of the standard, extremely well-documented reasons that would seem practically redundant to outline here. I can’t vote for either because I can no longer tell which is worse, or will prove to be worse in the future. The fearmongering is exhausting, but there’s much to fear. Ultimately what I want is both parties to get a reality check and veer back towards practicality over ideology, because as we stand we’re locked in a ‘War of the Roses’ (the movie) -esque war that ends in mutually assured destruction. I’m tapping out of that. And I don’t know if that’s the right decision either.
I dont have faith in any candidiate. they all seem to be self interested and not in the interest of the people
There isn’t a good candidate. I hate that they both support the same things basically. And plus I’m not interested in politics
We live in an oligarchy, not a democracy. If voting actually mattered, we wouldn’t be allowed to do it. Also, Pubs and Dems both serve the same corporate interests, and neither cares about the working class. And voting independent is a waste of time.
I don’t believe either major party candidate is a good pick. Neither represents my views well. Alternative party votes do not matter with our current system
The outcome of the the presidential election doesn’t have a significant impact on my life. I’m uninterested in the results
None of the candidates represent my beliefs, or come close to encompassing them. I do not trust any of them. I cannot vote for somebody or something I do not fully believe in. I think protesting through non-voting is the best option available to me.
As of current I am equally dissatisfied with the presidential candidates and don’t see myself voting for any of them confidently
In my experience voting has no benefit to my family. Voting has not made my life better. I don’t support a system that doesn’t support me.
I don’t care about politics. The people are one in the same and don’t benefit me at all. They have claims that are all lies.
I will not vote because it doesn’t matter anyway, and the electoral college will just vote for whoever they want to anyway. also, I don’t really like any of the candidates.
It’s choosing between the lesser of two evils and I will not do that. It’s a popularity contest and I don’t like it.
It won’t make any measurable difference in my life which candidate I vote for, or which one wins, so there’s no need to waste time voting.
I choose not to vote because the political system has consistently failed to address issues impacting the Black community. Despite promises from candidates, I feel our voices are often overlooked or marginalized, and real change doesn’t happen through the current voting process. Voting feels disconnected from the needs of my community, so I don’t believe participating will make a difference.
I do not think there is a candidate who is qualified and fit for office. I wouldn’t vote for Kamala because she wasn’t democratically selected to be the nominee and Trump is not fit. Nobody else has a chance to win so it is not worth my time.
I don’t like either one of the main two people that are running for President. I know the other people that are running don’t have a chance of winning, so I don’t see the point of voting for a third party candidate.
I feel as if they already have their minds made up about the next election and our votes as citizens do not matter.
I do not believe that our votes are actually counted properly. Previous elections have shown that many are lost, stolen or just unaccounted for. It is a waste of my time and energy.
I have thought many times about voting for the lesser of any of these evil people but I have decided that at this point in history, this is not getting us anywhere! I believe we have a duty as citizens to withhold our votes when the only choice is incompetency, so I firmly believe this is what I will do. Although Trump and Kennedy make way better candidates than any of the rest I still don’t TRUST any of them because they’re all on the SAME SIDE!
I don’t believe my vote was in the slightest or that I have any ability to and change the outcome in any way
All the accidents are bad. I do not belive that any of them will fix the problems America is currently facing.
None of the candidates reflect my political values. I don’t really vote ever because it’s incredibly rare that political candidates are in alignment with my beliefs.
Neither of the two main, realistic candidates for president reflect my most important views or ideals.

I don’t see any suitable candidates to vote for.

It looks like the 2024 presidential election is shaping up to be a close contest between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Recent polls indicate that the two candidates are essentially tied, with Harris at 46% and Trump at 45% ¹. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is also in the running, but he’s currently polling at 7% ¹. The rest of candidates won’t even get enough of votes.

I appreciate Kamala Harris’s policies for their potential to benefit various groups, but I worry they might be overly ambitious and short of balance. On the other hand, while Some of Donald Trump’s policies align with my views, his self-centered and dismissive behavior undermines his ability to lead effectively.
I’m not interested enough in politics. Also, because I live in New York (not a swing state), my vote probably wouldn’t make a difference.
Because it’s absolutely pointless. We do not have fair elections, they’ll install Kamala just like they installed Joe.
neither side is focused on doing anything that actually affects my neighborhood. all the issues that are focused on by both political parties completely vanish if you log offline. I don’t feel as though either side is arguing a good faith or wants any actual change to the system they profit from
I have never voted in a federal level election and can’t foresee myself ever doing so. They do not care about or represent my economic class in any way whatsoever.
I will only vote if Peter Sonski is on the ticket in my state. I cannot, in good conscience, vote for any of these corrupt liars. I will stand before God one day and have to account for my actions - even voting against my conscience. Voting for the “lesser for 2 evils” is still voting for evil.
I do not know enough about each of the candidates to feel that I would be a well-informed voter and make the right decision.
I will not vote because I do not agree with either of the candidates political policies/agenda. I also don’t agree with the proposals that they have made. Some of them contradict my religious beliefs, and that’s what mainly keeps me from casting my ballot.
Neither candidate is good and both parties rarely nominate a good candidate, instead they go with someone they know will get votes instead of someone that will actually do something for the people and country.
I live in California. The state’s electoral votes will go to Kamala Harris. I care much more about local voting, so I will be voting, just not for President. Many people have attempted to convince me that my vote will be stolen, on both sides of the political spectrum, but I don’t believe this. I’ll vote in-person. I want it to be clear that I do not approve of this circus that is the Presidential race. I’ll vote when we have candidates that can actually make the country a better place for its citizens.
Because the system is blatantly corrupt. I do not see a reason to participate in something that I know is rife with misconduct. Also the two primary choices are garbage. Voting third party is a pointless gesture as well.
I do not like any of the people who are running they are a crooked and against my views that I believe in
Both candidates are disrespectful to voters and fundamentally running on dishonesty rather than serving.
Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are both Capitalists. Neither of them will change anything for the common American, and will only serve their own interests and the interests of the lobby groups that bribe them and their political parties. Voting in America does not matter.
It comes down to either Kamala or Trump and I’m not a fan of either for a multitude of reasons. I don’t think either of them will get America in the right direction and both will come with a lot of drama and lies.
Not registered so I can’t. If you look into anyone running for political office, it’s very easy and common to find enough information that they shouldn’t hold any form of power. I’m 32, so I’ve only actually experienced a few “presidents”, all of them were war criminals, did stupid shit, and failed to fulfill any promises they made. Never seen anyone worth actually voting for, the stance of their party is why most people vote for them, but their actual actions and history typically say otherwise.
Both parties are part of the same system. The system is broken, and I believe individual votes will not make a difference.
Because I just moved so the process to register is hard, and I don’t think either of the main candidates is fit to run the country.
I don’t trust any of them to do the right thing. They all spew lies to look more appealing but in reality they all don’t care about anything but money and power.
Voting is a structure to give citizens the illusion that they can decide the path of our country, when in reality these puppets are picked by those with much higher power than Federal Government. Our government is owned by these people
The two candidates are bad. I wish there were more options that had the chance to actually win the election.
I do not like either candidates. Trump is off the rails and Harris may go back to being very liberal. And I can’t imagine either VP candidates being president if something happened. Also my vote does not really matter since I live in California.
I don’t know enough about politics to make an informed decision. I also don’t care and am tired of people trying to pressure me into voting and acting like anyone who doesn’t vote is a horrible person or making everything political that doesn’t need to be.
I believe the current system put in place that voting ultimately does nothing besides choosing between two evils. The core of the country is something id rather not participate in. The electoral vote matters more anyways.
There is no one worth voting for. I don’t want any of the candidates to win. None deserve to be president
I just don’t particularly feel motivated to vote.and the fact that the lines will be extremely long being a presidential election further enlargens my lack of motivation at the hassle of it all.
None of the candidates speak to me. I am not sure what to make of the plateforme of either one of them.
I don’t believe in voting anymore, and there is no advantage to voting one candidate over the other, the way I see it.
I feel that both of the people running are bad candidates, and neither really help push toward a better USA or world. Also, politics is so corrupt that I never appreciate it much. In addition I don’t like how we have a two-party system where people just vote for there sides instead of the best candidates.
I don’t vote due to uncertainty about issues and feeling like my vote doesn’t matter vs the majority.
I do no like either of the candidates and I feel like none of the independent candidates have any chance of winning.
I do not support any candidate enough to make it worth my time and effort to vote. I do not approve of any candidates platform overall and this election year like most has just come off as a comedy show.
I won’t vote because I don’t like any of the candidates who are running for president. The only candidates with any actual shot are the Democrat and Republican candidates, and I don’t care for either one of them.
I don’t think either is a good choice so I cannot knowingly vote for someone I think will be bad for our country
The candidates listed, in my opinion, are not what’s right for our country. There’s systemic change needed within the political system as a whole, and many of those listed seek not to make that change, but to profit off of the problems that exist within that system.
I will not vote because I do not believe that voting has been helpful to the Black, Hispanic, or Native American communities. Our communities have continued to face racism, inadequate housing, redlining, inadequate education, etc, all designed to keep us under a system of White supremacy and oppression. Our neighborhoods continue to get worse because our young men do not have access to good education and therefore cannot get good-paying jobs. Then drugs, alcohol, and guns are funneled into our communities from the outside and the politicians from all parties sit back and act as though they have no idea why our communities are in shambles. So, voting has not helped, nor will it ever help the Black, Hispanic, and Native American communities!
I really do not care who the President of the United States is and also I am quite aware, unlike millions of other people, that my vote would not make an difference at all.
I feel there really is no democracy, regardless of who we vote for the outcome will remain the same. There government is corrupt.
I refuse to vote for Donald Trump because of his horrifying lack of character and morality but I very strongly disagree with Kamala Harris on certain issues that I feel cannot be overlooked. I’m not too familiar with all of the third party candidates but I won’t vote for Kennedy as I know he’s anti vaccines and too core for one of the others would unfortunately not affect the outcome of the election.
I exercise my right to vote because I believe it truly does not matter. I am presented with multiple options who do not reflect my beliefs or what I want for my country. I think none of the candidates have the best interests of the people in mind, and there are many instances of corruption happening with the candidates that I do not want to support. Politics has become an issue of one side vs another rather than building the best country possible.
conscientious objection… The system is so very broken and everyone seems to think Trump is outside the political system but lets be real. Nobody that can run for president is really outside that circle. I mean one of his ancestors was part of the team that recovered Teslas trunks from his hotel room along with a Bush ancestor. I firmly believe Douglas Adams was 100% right ” anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job”
I don’t find that any of the candidates have thus far been able to prove that they will be good, strong, and selflessness leaders for the people.
I do not know who am I voting for so I am just voting because of a name at this point. I do not care to follow politics because they do not have much influnce on the future as much as I would hope.
I think politics has gotten so corrupt that you can’t trust anything or anyone in it. It feels like it’s gotten to the point where it’s rigged and they already know who will win. I think it’s all smoke and mirrors to make people think they really do make a difference. I don’t want to vote because I don’t support either person and whoever wins will be the one who is supposed to be there.
Its pointless. My vote does not matter and who is elected is nothing put a puppet. Complete waste of time to vote.

Exploratory analysis

Controlling for Time 0

We’re gonna try to predict current intent to vote for kamala from class-based zero-sum beliefs, controlling for time 0 intent to vote for kamala. I doubt we’ll see anything, but here we go:

(#tab:unnamed-chunk-41)
Predictor \(b\) 95% CI \(t\) \(\mathit{df}\) \(p\)
Intercept 0.04 [-0.03, 0.10] 1.02 879 .307
Zs class 0.01 [0.00, 0.03] 2.09 879 .037
Harris vote t0 0.71 [0.66, 0.76] 27.98 879 < .001

No way! That’s actually insane. That means that for these swing voters, the change in their vote for kamala is meaningfully explained by class-based zero-sum beliefs. We’ll probably see that in a mediation model as well:

direct effect: b = 0.71, t(897) = 28.04, p = 0.
indirect effect: b = 0.7, t(896) = 27.82, p = 0.
a link: b = 0.29, t(897) = 2.47, p = 0.014.
b link: b = 0.01, t(896) = 2.11, p = 0.035.

yup.

I’ll just note that our prediction would be for actual voting (time 2). Hopefully we see even bigger effects for that.

Controlling for Time 0

Ok, now we’ll do the same thing, but with a trump vote.

(#tab:unnamed-chunk-43)
Predictor \(b\) 95% CI \(t\) \(\mathit{df}\) \(p\)

Trump vote t0 0.65 [0.60, 0.70] 24.76 879 < .001

Great. This one goes in the other direction. That’s pretty cool. Let’s check the mediation.

direct effect: b = 0.66, t(897) = 25.61, p = 0.
indirect effect: b = 0.64, t(896) = 24.72, p = 0.
