Columbus Weather Analysis

The data collected for this analysis is weather data from NOAA for Columbus, OH taken at the John Glenn International Airport.

Section 1

The graphs below are box plats that show the daily maximum and minimum temperatures from the listed location above from 2010-2018. From the graphs below, the box plot for January maximum daily temperatures shows a larger range outside the interquartile range compared to July. In contrast, the IQR for both the minimum and maximum temperatures in August indicates a more closely grouped set of data. The data also shows that both April and October have similar average maximum and minimum temperatures.

The below table shows the aggregated averages of each month for Columbus from 2010-2018 as well as the standard deviation of each of those months.
