From the graphs below, the box plot for January maximum daily temperatures shows a larger range outside the interquartile range compared to July. In contrast, the IQR for both the minimum and maximum temperatures in August indicates a more closely grouped set of data. The data also shows that both April and October have similar average maximum and minimum temperatures.
