Week 1
In Week 1, I followed the quarto tutorial as well as completed the “Meet the Penguin” document. I played around with Quarto in R.Studio. As you can see, I’ve learnt how to insert an image, however fell into some trouble with jpg and png files. I had to open the jpg file in the “Paint” app and save it again as a png file, so that when I rendered my work, the picture was displayed instead of shown as a file.
I then learnt how to change the theme, font colour and background colour with the help of the quarto website. From this, I learnt what a hex code is!
I’ve worked with R quite a lot during my Bachelors and so I am familiar with ggplots etc. Therefore all I did to the output was change the value colours.
