Muffin
Going Outside
- She should wear her gentle leader collar whenever shes outside. The collar goes under her ears and over her nose
- Snap the black collar and pull the little loop through and around her snout. she knows the drill and will basically do it for you. but she’s strong so i definitely recommend using it
- She’ll #1, circle around you, and sometimes #2 right away. If you say “gotta poop?” and jiggle the leash a little, she’ll go. sometimes she just circles and circles. she also gets distracted by people/dogs/things that are out of the ordinary, so just tell her to “Leave It”
Food & Water
- 2 scoops if empty
- 1 scoop before bed if there’s some left
- If you are going to be gone for a long period of time, dont give her more than 1 bowl of water before you leave after taking her out. If you intend to take her out throughout the day, she can have more.
- she’s a VERY messy eater, so i can almost guarantee she will make a mess. sorry in advance
- she also might not eat at all since i’m gone, don’t worry if that’s the case
Commands She Knows (not exhaustive)
- sit
- stay
- down
- leave it
- no
- get out/go/git/get off
- no bite (shouldn’t be a problem)
- make sure you use use a firm tone, don’t repeat yourself a bunch of times cuz then she’ll never listen to you lol. don’t be afraid to get stern with her, she knows better
Misc
- Also please make sure that either the toilet lid and/or bathroom door are closed bc she will 100% drink out of it lol
- She’s VERY playful, she plays rough so she growls and can be a little mouthy, but it’s harmless
- She loves people (especially kids) and dogs. but still better to keep some distance bc it can look aggressive lol and she’ll squish little dogs and knock kids over
- I would prefer that you don’t bring her anywhere super busy, more bc of my own anxiety. but if you do just do NOT let her off the leash unless she’s inside or in a fenced in area. i don’t trust her to not run into traffic
- No dog parks please
i think that’s everything! call/message me if you have any questions/problems!
