Hello My name is Alejandro. Here is a photo of me:
I’m Alejandro, a senior at UTSA, aiming to graduate by the end of this year with a degree in Business Analytics. I’m passionate about using data to drive decisions and hope to work for a respectable company, either locally in San Antonio or nationally. If I stay in San Antonio, I’d love to apply to companies like USAA and Valero.
For my entire college career, I’ve been working at a dealership, which has provided me the flexibility to attend classes while being in one of the best environments I’ve ever experienced. This job has allowed me to balance work and study effectively.
Analytic Software background
Over the past year, I’ve been honing my skills in R, which has become my favorite analytics tool due to its user-friendly nature. On the flip side, I find SAS to be the most challenging for me; perhaps I need to invest more time to master it. This semester, I’ve started learning Python for the first time, and I’m excited about its potential, especially for creating interactive dashboards. By the end of this year, I aim to solidify my knowledge and be well-prepared for my future career in analytics.
