Academic Bakcground

I graduated high school at Lincoln International Academy in 2019. I started studying industrial engineering at Universidad Catolica de Argentina in Buenos Aires, Argentina. However, I moved to U.S. in 2022 and realized my passion for the world Data Science. I realized about the new demand it’s having and how it’s reshaping and helping many industries on a daily basis. So, I started studying Data Science at UTSA since the Fall 2022.

Professional Background

The only professional background is that I worked with my dad as an English-Spanish translator. I translated important business documents, files, projects and emails while also learning about the company and business around the world. Unfortunately, this job didn’t help me get experience with working with data analysis tools or learn programming languages. However, I’m learning about Data Analysis through Coursera by Google, and I’m an active member of NSLS (National Society of Leadership and Success).

Experience in R and Data Mining

The only experience I had with R was in a previous Statistics class STA 3003 Applied Statistics. But, one of my industrial engineering class we worked with Python so I learned the basis of that. I also took STA 4133 where we learned about Data Management in SAS.
