Morgan Sidwell

Who am I?

I am from Centerville, OH which is in Dayton. I have two younger brothers, Ryan who is a junior in high school and Bradley who just started studying computer engineering at Miami of Ohio. I also have a dog that is a retired racing greyhound named Kodi. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends, workout, crochet, and read. I hope to either work in a client facing technical role or supply chain when I graduate.

Academic Background

Currently I am a 5th year at the University of Cincinnati studying Chemical Engineering. I started working towards my Business Analytics Certificate the summer of my pre-junior year as statistics is something I have always been interested in. Outside of classes I am currently the CEAS Senator, an Officer of CEAS Tribunal, The president of OXE which is the honorary fraternity for Chemical Engineers and the Philanthropy Chair of Mortar Board.

Professional Background

I have completed 5 co-op rotations throughout my time at UC. My first rotation was as a Quality Engineer at Ethicon, I spent my 2nd-4th rotations at ThermoFisher Scientific doing Validation Engineering, Process Engineering, and Manufacturing Sciences. I spent my last co-op in Rochester, NY working for Trane Technologies as a Technical Sales Intern.

Prior to this class I have never used R before to code.

Throughout my education I have had experience with Minitab, Python, MATLab, LabVIEW, and Excel/VBA.
