I began my career as an Information Systems Auditor in Kroger’s Internal Audit department, where I developed a strong foundation in IT controls and risk management. Seeing potential to improve audit effectiveness through data analytics, I led efforts to drive change and expand our capabilities. As a result, I transitioned into the role of Data Analytics Auditor, a position I helped create and the first of its kind at Kroger.

Experience with R

Our team emphasizes using drag-and-drop software to democratize data access. However, I leverage R to create custom components when these tools fall short. For instance, in a project evaluating the ROI of a third-party self-checkout application, I used R to assess whether the software led to statistically significant shrink savings in pilot stores. Experience with Analytical Software

For the most part I am living and breathing in Alteryx and Power BI. Using these software I am able to identify things like:
