Introduction

Hello, I am Suraj Singh, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Business Analytics at Lindner college of Business. While I was pursuing my UG in Information and Technology, I came across few subjects related to the field of data science which got my attention to this domain. The idea of taking the business decision based on a hypothesis and having a data to support the hypothesis still excites me to learn more on the various use cases of data analytics. My other interests are travelling (sometimes solo), staying active by going to gym, playing badminton and watching sports.

Professional Background

I have six years of experience working in the analytics industry. I have worked with the firms like Accenture, Fractal Analytics and KPMG. I have led multiple projects where we have helped client taking strategic decision for their brands to help uplift the volume sales, market share and optimization on the expenditure.

Experience with R

I have worked on building few analytics products as well during my corporate journey. I worked on one project which revolved around market mix modelling which dealt with market spend optimization for which we built a dashboard using R Shiny.

Experience with other analytic software

I have experienced working with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Spotfire. I also have extensive experience working on ETL tools Alteryx and KNIME which are heavily used for any projects in the analytics domain.
